She consistently informs me of the best deals and practices to maintain our pool. William is just as helpful and both of them have good humor about themselves in a very mindful way. When I had to replace our filter/cannister, I used their service department. Keith was always prompt, effective, and diligent about the work he performed. I also was steered to the best deal and manufacturer for the system. This store and especially manager Michelle are my best resource for my pool care. Michelle's incredibly knowledgeable and super sweet. When we purchased our MasterSpas swimspa and filled it, it didn't work and we couldn't get any support from MasterSpas. Our water was sitting in 100* heat with no filters. Michelle stepped in and coached us almost daily how to keep the water conditioned until we were able to get the pool working. In the two years since, she's been our source for caring for the pool. Way more helpful than the MasterSpas material which is cumbersome. I use the pool year-round so I'm in monthly if not weekly getting my water tested and learning how to stretch my water between fills. I go longer than manufacture's recommendations since we're in drought country, so her advice is valuable. Was kind of pissed. Our pool guy let the pool get like this then wanted $1,250 to drain, chlorine and acid wash it. Took a water sample to Michelle at Leslie's and she got me dialed in with the proper shock treatment & other chemicals. For less than $75 the pool is now back to clear and the pool service " Miguel" fired. Very impressed with Michelle and the whole crew at Leslie's. very uneducated employees. Hiring from the bottom of the barrel. No experience in pools. They don't know what to sell with the pumps they sell. They don't have the equipment that goes with the above ground pools they sell. Why would they even sell if they don't have the hoses that go with themand the plungers that go with them. Very disappointed I've been back twice and now have to go back again to return my pump. Employees sold me the wrong thing twice. read more

I went to Leslie's needing a full wealth of supplies for my hot tub. I had not been getting out due to Covid so I needed everything! I walked in with my mask on, noticed a lady behind the counter and she had a mask on, then a man walks out of the back and goes behind the counter and his neck and chin both fully protected. Came in on a Saturday to get an expensive part for a pool filter. The lone employee in the store (tall guy, long hair in a ponytail) seemed quite annoyed that we were even there. Although we eventually got what we needed, it was such an awkward experience. He didn't seem to know what we were looking for, and when asked how late they were open, said "two more hours of my life that I'll never get back"... Welp, "seven o'clock" would have sufficed. I don't expect anyone to be excited to work on a Saturday. Lord knows I hate working Saturdays. But you should always be courteous to customers and make them feel welcome in your store. The gentleman in line after us got a better greeting than we did, considering we didn't get one at all. "And how can I help YOU?" Wow. We just put in a new pool a couple months ago. The staff has been so helpful and honest in providing advice so we can get up to speed on how to care for our pool. The manager, Greg, is very educated when it comes to water testing and always walks me through exactly what I need to do to keep the water safe and healthy for our kids to play without worry. Store is supposed to be open at 9 on Sunday - I got there at 9:20 and the door was locked. Finally a surly looking teenager (short, crew cut hair) opened the door and groaned when I asked if he would test my pool water. He proceeded to make snarky comments before finally helping me with what I needed. There is a woman at this location who works sometimes (I need to find out when!) who is very helpful however. EDIT: it seems like this sales person no longer works at the store and the helpful woman is back! She's been very helpful and knowledgeable to my never ending string of questions. I was there today. Their employee doesn't keep social distancing (6ft). Employee (his name is Alan I guess) approached me very close without any reason to show sign on a door why he wouldn't serve me if I'm without medicine mask and gloves. Basically he was as close to me as it gets. And for some reason, non-medical face coverings (like cloth coverings) don't work for him, that's why he refused to serve me. read more

The worst customer service ever. I bought a filter from a rude and surly salesman for installation. They charged me for a house call prior to installation because they wanted to make sure that the correct part was ordered. Next week I called to order a booster pump for the polaris. They want you to come to the store to give your credit card. Even though they know who you are. I will never do business with them again. PS. Ernie's Pool Supply on Meridian was cheaper. read more

Leslie's has been our pool go-to for over 17 years now. We have seen many managers come and go. Greg, the store manager is one of the best along with Nolan and Dawn. They make a great team. Greg is friendly, well versed and knows his pools. We have brought many challenges to them regarding our pool and each time we have been able to solve the problem. Their free water testing is a great. I can't tell you how many times we used that service. I just brought in a broken pump hose and Greg knew the exact connectors we needed and what I thought was a major problem and would need a technician was simple and we were able to fix it ourselves. We just bought a pool pump and Polaris pool cleaner and had them install them. We got a great price and Dawn was very good at explaining our choices so we did not buy something more expensive that we really did not need. There tech guy Keith was great. He was very good at showing us how set the timers and make changes as need them. We will definitely be using them as our go to pool experts. read more

I've been going to this site for 4 years and have always had good service. Today I did a curb side visit to have my pool water tested. (Called yesterday and they said can do). I called the number on the window and the guy came out to pick up my water sample. I was told yesterday it would about 10 min. No problem. As I'm sitting in my car waiting I observe 6 or so people come in and out with their samples. So after waiting 30 min I decided to call and check. The guy says hold on and hands the phone to a lady working behind the counter I know this because I can see through the front window. I asked her how it was going and Did she have an idea about how much longer. Well then she lost her shit! Yelling there are 5 people ahead of me. I'm asking her why she did not do my sample yet and mentioned all the people came way after me. She again screams "well nobody freakin told her. So I assume she would do mine next then, Nope she continues to help everyone in line. No I'm sorry let me get to it and thanks for being so patient! So I risk ( I'm high risk) and peak into the store. She literally losses her shit calls me a bitch and for me to take my f**n sample then she rushed me at the door. I'm now telling her to step back! Felt like she was about to hurt me. Then starts screaming and at this point I just want to get my water sample and leave ASAP!! She is screaming go ahead call and tell on me she didn't give a shit! Wow I get it it is beyond stressful for EVERYONE in the world but apparently her stress is the worst. As I am shocked and shaking I drive off. I pull over and look for another Leslie's b/c they have always been good to me. I decide to drive to the Cupertino branch. I end up having to go in and they greeted me very nicely and started to test my water. I'm still shaken and decided to tell them what just happened. Long story but the manager overhears and comes right over. He was very apologetic and said he wanted to and would call corporate to let them know. Cupertino store employees were all kind and amazing. I now have a new Store and will never step foot in that Bascom branch again!!!! read more

I can't say enough about the great customer service I received from your store manager, Greg. One example: my pool's timer had died which resulted in my pool's pump not working and water not circulating. I contacted Greg at Leslie's to get a replacement timer and a new box to replace the rusty box that my existing timer was in. Although he had the timer he did not have the box. He was going to order the box and it would have take a week for the box that he was going to order to arrive in his store which would have added on to the lenght of the time the pool had not been circulating. Instead, Greg stepped up and checked around and managed to locate and literally pick the box up at one of the other stores which elimated the delay in Leslie's installer coming out to my home to install everything. I really appreciate Greg going the extra mile on this and his excellent follow-up skills through this entire process to ensure everything had been taken care of is so very much appeciated!
