Was prompt to respond for installing a new controller to replace an old one. All sprinklers in the front yard were operational with the old controller. However, one of the sprinklers didn't function after the new controller was installed. The whole process of him trying to troubleshoot why the sprinkler for one zone stopped working was a sham. He concocted all kinds of theories around old valves, underground leaks and wiring malfunction that could be causing loss of pressure or delayed signals. He proposed to fix the valves that will solve the supposed leakage and pressure issue. All that was done was replace fully functional valves that were working with some new valves for an exorbitant price. Next day I get a call telling me how the backyard sprinklers are controlled by a different panel. Essentially they replaced something that didn't need replacing . read more

We discovered a water line leak on our property and had to turn water off immediately. I had to find someone that could quickly find and fix the problem somewhere along our 500ft run from the SJ Water meter to the house. Luckily I found Cesar after reaching out to a few companies. This is not a landscaping company. It is a one man operation. He does have a couple guys that help Him, but these guys are mostly around if he gets a big money job. And you better hope a big money job doesn't accidentally fall Into his lap when he is supposed to do your job. Ever since I had them out to install some drip irrigation in my yard, I have been trying to fix what they did poorly. They don't show up when their supposed to. Ever. Always an excuse. Mostly that he lives really far away...They will blow you off with no communication. I reached out to Cesar for fixing up sprinklers in my front yard. Cesar was super prompt in his communication and sent out his crew next day to provide a reasonable quote. Within the next couple of days, Cesar's crew came out to work on my front yard and made sure that each blade of grass is covered by sprinklers. While adding new lines, Cesar's team made sure that the placement of sprinklers was accurate and the grass is put back perfectly after trenching. For existing sprinklers, they made sure to clean up the water pipes for debris and replace all the heads/nozzles to reduce water wastage. Other companies I called refused the work either because the job was either too small or because discovering the leak would require the digging under the concrete. Cesar was professional and completed the repair quickly and affordably. It's been over a year later and it's still leak-free. My second experience with Cesar was for a leaky irrigation valve. This time, it was spring/summer and took longer to get a response because they were busy. Just finished our project with Cesar and his crew at Paramount Landscaping and I have to say I'm happily pleased. The whole experience working with them was great; from the initial in-person estimate with Cesar, to the honesty and workmanship of his team throughout the project. The project consisted of the following: 1. Updating all sprinkler units front and back, including relocating and adding a few to get better coverage (also fixed broken pipes the came across.) 2. Updated drip system and reconfigured for better flow. By introducing lines, bubblers, sprayers, and drips. 3. Swapped out all irrigation valves 4. Swapped out controllers with front manual controller and a four station WI-FI controller for the backyard. Also helped setup the app. 5. Talked to the owner and was initially responsive. Asked for a quote and he made time after finishing an appointment early to come over and give an estimate for weed removal same day since we were right down the street. Quoted me what seemed to be a decent price for weed removal, a vine removal, and included the chopping of an already removed dead tree for no additional charge. Weed removal was to include spraying and cutting, and an additional spray at a later date since it was rainy that week with some wind. That particular day was deemed dry enough to do an initial spray by the owner. The spray did not have an effect and no weeds died in the following days (there was little to no rain). I gave it benefit of the doubt due to weather, and inquired again later that week when he was to return to do the promised second spray. He said after the weather cleared he would make appointment that weekend. He later changed his mind again due to weather. I asked when was he thinking and there was no response. I later texted two more times when the weather was consistently dry and not windy, and had no response. Initially I was excited about their tenacity to service my yard, but it seems it was just opportunistic without any follow through. Disappointed that the promise wasn't kept on their end and would not recommend. read more
