On our (my) to-do is to try out the Old Pancake House (I've been to the other two locations and am a fan - my OPH fandom will be complete once I try the one in City Place.) I'm optimistic that more businesses will set up shop there, perhaps even some of the artisan vendors or activity spaces that Monique suggests in her review. It is truly spotless and very comfortable for relaxing in the shade of huge the trees. There are plenty of greenery. It is very peaceful--a great place to rest, pray, or meditate. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. You can come to shop at the nearby mall--there's a Target, Marshalls, Burlington, Starbucks, a taco shop, an Acme, and much more. You could come here first to exercise or simply enjoy the view of the Hudson and the tranquility, and then do your shopping--or vice versa. It comes highly recommended. I'm not sure who manages this place--whether it's the state government or someone else--but it is very well maintained, with plenty of trash cans and benches for enjoying the view. It's Free. There are multiple entrances. Couple of store locations are unoccupied that have odd appearance. But overall it is very popular among the locals.

Styertowne Shopping Center has been around for at least 50 years plus…read more History: For those Yelpers who live in the area, this center had the original Rowe Manse Emporium which started out as a small card and candle shop. Later, it expanded to an ultra modern department store. People came from all over to shop here. Rows Manse has been closed for the last 20 years. The center has a variety of stores: CVS, Corbo Jeweler's, Dollar Store, Vitamin Shoppe, US Post Office, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Seasons Market, Allstate Ins. and much more. To me, the Shopping Center needs a "real facelift". Most of the shops need to "update" their outside appearance. The Shopping Centre's appearance hasn't changed since its inception. On occasion, I've noticed some questionable characters about. One of the latest and a real welcome addition is the Mexican Restaurant is Bitol. They serve wonderful cocktails and cuisine. Styertowne Shopping Center has a large parking lot in the front and rear of the center. PS: How could I forget, the wonderful Styertowne Bakery. It's one of the best bakeries in NJ!

This mall is definetly a one stop shop for fun and fashion! They have everything from a ski resort to Nickelodeon Amusement Park. They also got the high end bougie stores like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Gucci. We went to the Nikelodeon Park and was able to pay per ride which was cool. We also was able go on the Ferris wheel that overlooked Manhattan. I also finally found the World Cup soccer ball from the Addidas store. American Dream is a place that requires multiple trips! Parking was easy peasy. I paid 6.50 to park in thier parking lot.

It is the perfect place to bring kids. The amount of activities all in one place is quite remarkable. There's the Nickelodeon theme park, DreamWorks water park, Sesame Place, Legoland, mini golf, laser tag, an arcade, an aquarium, and much more. Everything is indoors and connected, so it's super easy to get from one place to the next. There is even a bridge to the MetLife stadium next door. In addition to the more interactive attractions, there are tons of food options and regular mall stores. There is a connected parking garage and parking rates are extremely reasonable. We were there for about 5 hours and paid $6.40. It's very easy to get around with a stroller, but there isn't a ton to do for kids under 1, I'd say. The Nickelodeon theme park did have a play space with blocks and places to climb for young ones, but all the rides, including the trains, required kids to be 3 feet and up in height. You can easily spend a whole day here. Each attraction has a separate fee so things can add up quickly, but it's a great place for endless entertainment.
