I had no idea what I was expecting from this show, which is located in the Horseshoe Las Vegas. If you are in the area, I would suggest going to this show for sure! The magician is named Frederick da Silva. He is originally from Europe but has lived in America for quite some time! Without spoiling the show, it is truly unbelievable how he comes up with these answers, and it does look like he can read into random audiences. Overall, I am still stunned at how he was able to do it, and if you have free time or need to see a show, this would be on top of my list!

Yes. Go. Frederic puts on a heck of a show. He did this "distant touch" illusion (or whatever it's called) in his act. He does a free meet and greet at the end of the show (seemed that practically everybody who watched him wanted to meet him and get a photo because he impressed his audience that much). He did that distant touch thing on me. I've been trying to figure out how he did that since I saw his show. I wanted a hoodie or something he could autograph, but he doesn't seem interested in self promotion just for money. He wants to just refine his craft and put on a good show -- and he's succeeded. I was in cranky mood before the show and I was a hard audience member to impress. At the end I gave him a standing ovation -- and he deserves the acclaim his audience gives him. Thanks Frederic for a memorable show. I'll recommend it to people I know. I hope your show is around for decades to come.

LOCATED AT THE HORSESHOE Located in the Horseshoe hotel in Las Vegas (Formerly Bally's). It took a little bit of finding, but once we entered the hotel, we went up an escalator and found the line waiting to enter. There are bathrooms located outside the theater. SMALL THEATER The theater is small and dimly lit. Our seats were like dining table chairs that were located on flat ground. The stage is elevated. I wouldn't bother paying extra for VIP seats myself. There's a bit of 'wind up hype' before the show and a couple of videos on monitors. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION BY RANDOM PICK... It's basically a one-man magic show that appears to be mind reading. There is a fair amount of audience participation. My mom and I (In our 50s and 70s) were shrinking in our seats, hoping not to be picked! They typically threw beach balls and frisbees around for random picks, so don't catch them if you don't want to participate! It was a decent show and you'll be amazed how he does it, but there was something awkward/repetitive/flat about it for me. Still, quite impressive. I enjoyed the segment about the magician where he talked and showed photos of his progression to becoming what he is today. One trick where a participant had to draw something on a white board and the magician had to guess what it was went slightly awry as he could tell she'd drawn something "risqué" that couldn't be shown to the audience. She had to redraw her item. MEET THE MAGICIAN After the show, you can line up and meet the magician. (We didn't). BOUGHT TIX IN ADVANCE We saw a different variety of 3 shows over 3 days in Vegas (not our first trip). We booked all of them on-line before the trip. Tickets were digital on my phone. Tip: We ate at Maxie's at the Linq Promenade after the show. Helpful?

Really amazing show that was quite different than other shows in Las Vegas! I can see from our faces how surprised and shocked we are. I still cannot believe it is real in life but hard to tell how he makes it happen. A lot of interactions during the show which feels more fun and real. There is another chance to experience it firsthand after show. That's fantastic! Blow our minds! Strongly recommend it if you and your family have time to explore it by yourself!

It takes a lot to impress me. I was blown away from start to finish. Thankfully for yelp I stumbled across this show. Frederic just kept the amazement coming. He truly is amazing. It is as if he knows the answer to the question he is going to as you before he even asks it. Please do not leave Vegas until you see this show. Every day at 4pm. tickets are inexpensive. Appropriate for all ages. At the end of the performance I gave my first standing ovation. It was that good. Go see Paranormal. You will be glad you did.

I was looking for a show to take my mom for her birthday and found Paranormal Las Vegas for a great deal on Vegas.com. When it comes to magic, I'm usually more impressed with mind reading tricks as opposed to a prop-filled show - so I was super excited. When we first got there, I was already loving the atmosphere and vibes - even the bartender was pulling off some magic tricks of his own. There was perhaps about a hundred of us in the crowd - so I liked that it was a very intimate setting. After Frederick came on, his presence and humor was amazing from the beginning to the end- all his tricks were very interactive - and it was clear that it was not staged at all. Everyone was pulled by random! At the end, we got the chance to do a meet and greet with him. For my mom, he asked her to pick a number - and surprisingly it was her birthday! He even had it written down before she said it. We were all wondering how did he just do that?! I highly recommend his show if you want some real entertainment.

I'm not sure how Frederic Da Silva does it, but he's a great showman and kept us all engaged throughout the show! The show is located inside the Horseshoe Casino. The show is very intimate and he asks audience members to participate (randomly selected). At the end of the show, he does a meet and greet!! It was really fun, and I would definitely go again!

4.5 stars: Great show! Not a bad seat in the house! Truly mind-blowing. I have no idea how he does it. 5 stars for his performance for sure. Very interactive and in a small venue. Didn't give the whole experience 5-stars for 2 reasons: 1) Nowhere on the tickets does it tell you where to go. There isn't signage either, until you arrive. Need to add room location on tickets! 2) Seating attendant was kind to us...but overall very rude to everyone she sat. "All the way in, no skips no spaces." Totally fine concept-but she was very rude to anyone who asked a question or moved beyond the line before she was present. Many in the auditorium were talking about her demeanor. Just took away from the whole experience. A lady in the audience fell...and she wasn't very sympathetic either. That said, very glad I attended this show vs a larger venue. Would recommend for sure! read more

He is amazing!! He blew our minds!! I love that it was a small crowd, more intimate so more ppl can be involved in the show. I had a great time being amused and amazed. At the end of the show there was a meet and greet which sealed the deal he asked to pick a number and I was debating on two number and he said stick to one and he got it right!! OMG like did he hear my thoughts.... This show is not expensive and worth it!!! read more

Yes, at first I was skeptical. It was very entertaining. Seeing Frederick pick out volunteers randomly. Seeing him work was ok. Until....there was a Meet and greet after the show and I decided to go with my family. We took a picture and he asked my son to think of a number between 1-100. He wrote it down and he asked my son his number. Amazingly got it right. My skepticism started to go down. Then he turned to me and asked me to think of a 3 digit number. So I did. When I said 303, he pulled out a post it from the inside of his jacket and guess what...written in pencil was "303"..blew my mind! Amazing show!!! read more

YOU MUST SEE THIS SHOW. Absolutely incredible, mind-boggling, 100% pure entertainment and talent. My sister was on stage and Frederic Da Silva's mind-reading was dead-on accurate. Frédérique is phenomenal and a phenomenon. He's a lucky man to be given such a great gift in life, to make people smile and laugh and to have such passion in his profession. He never has to work a day in his life with his love for what he does. I can't figure out how he read my mind at the end but he guessed the number I was thinking of within a matter of seconds. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and oh my god what a pleasant surprise we had so much fun It was so much fun that our hour long show seemed like we were only there for 10 minutes It's just amazing that one person can do the things that he did during his show . Honestly. He baffled me. For real. So many things I was really shocked he knew. He was charming. It was a lot of fun and almost 10 people were randomly and I mean randomly chosen. It was so much fun. I would 100% recommend his show over any other magician / mentalist show. read more

Amazing show. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a magic show. He was so fun to watch. The theatre is kind of small so no matter where you sit, you're getting a good seat. The show is EXTREMELY enjoyable. I had done a fair bit of magic long time ago, so I am seeing the show from two angles, one as a past magician and the other as a regular audience. From the magician perspective, Frederick designed and executed the tricks flawlessly. It's very enjoyable seeing magic tricks done so well that they quite literally feel like "real" magic / mind reading. From the regular audience perspective, you'll be BLOWN AWAY. If nobody told you this is a magic show, you'll definitely think he's a wizard who reads mind who happens to be entertaining muggles in Las Vegas. Also it's worth noting that Frederick does the show with no assistant and no live camera. You'll be seeing him and him ONLY. There's no gimmick or misdirection from outside elements, and there's no one on the stage "helping" him (except the many participating audiences, of course). It's very refreshing and authentic. You're going to see these acts right from the source with no BS whatsoever. At the end of the show, audience gets to meet him backstage, and he'll prepare something personal just for you. It'll make your experience very memorable. For those with kids, this is a perfect show for kids. All the tricks are easy to follow and it worked out great for my 10yo son. 12 out of 10, highly recommended. Please go watch it! read more

International mentalist Frederic de Silva is truly one of a kind. I have no idea how he does what he does, but it's an amazing show to see if you have a chance to fit it into your itinerary. Located inside of the Horseshoe hotel (connected to the Paris hotel), this show is tucked away on the 2nd floor. It's a fairly intimate show with a few rows of people, but he makes it very interactive for many guests in the audience to participate. His mind reading tricks are incredibly impressive - like, how is he able to state the serial number of a $1 bill from a random person in the audience or how does he know exactly what page/row of the dictionary to find a certain word?! I don't want to divulge too much, but I would highly recommend it. read more

I was blown away with how good this show was. I forgot how I heard about it, but I've had it bookmarked for about 2 years and finally remembered to come check it out. People from the audience are selected at random to be a part of the show, I also got to go on stage but my Rock, Paper, Scissors game wasn't up to par. The show is at The Attic magic room inside Bally's hotel/casino. You can tickets online or at the box office inside Bally's. We bought our at the box office since they also give you tier credits with your caesars rewards card, and the ticket price at the box office ends up being the same as the online tickets after the fees are added up. In an effort to not spoil the show I'll just say this is a fun, interactive, and entertaining show. At the end Fredric does a meet and greet in the lobby so you'll have a chance to pick his mind and maybe find out more about his performance. read more

Shows like The Mentalist and Psych were always my guilty pleasures, so I was looking forward to seeing this show during my recent trip. Head up to the Magic Attic in the Horseshoe (formerly known as Bally's)- the stage area was cozy/intimate, and you will be able to have a good view. My husband (a skeptic) said I was hanging on the edge of my seat the entire show with my mouth open (cute look, I know!!) but it was just that crazy good. I was left speechless and constantly being like "how did he do that..." I really liked how he got the audience to participate in the show- the stunned/shocked looks were priceless. Frederic was a great performer- the whole show had a great flow, and he would make quick witty jokes, really liked his sense of humor. read more

An absolute MUST SEE!!!! So incredibly grateful we found this show mentioned in a review for a completely different show we were looking at...we had THE best experience. Frederic is the real deal - and also one of the most heartfelt, witty, genuine humans. My partner got to go up stage and was blown away and then we stayed after for the meet & greet and I got to experience the magic as well! We both have been raving about it since we walked away and I said I need to immediately leave a review so others would know this is not only the most entertaining show on the strip, but also is absolutely worth your money x 100. *mind blown emoji* My mind is blown! Seriously this show is a must see. Typically when I think of shows in Vegas, it's grand like Cirque du Soleil but this show isn't one you'll want to miss. My friend has done this before and highly recommended them. Paranormal - Mind Reading Magic Show is in Bally's. I've never been inside Bally's till this show but it's worth going in to see it. When you enter, you show your passes to enter. You can buy drinks from the bar to bring into the show to enjoy. We picked up 2 High Noon's each to enjoy during the performance. From there, someone will usher you to your seats. We were in the front in the middle which was awesome seats. Frederic was quite entertaining and uses people from the live audience as part of his act. At the end of the show you get to watch a video of his journey becoming who he is today which was inspirational. He also has a meet and greet after the show. If your mind wasn't already blown, he can blow your mind at the meet and greet. One of the best highlights of my most recent trip to Vegas and I highly recommend you to check out his show. read more

This is the best magic show in Las Vegas. My wife and I have now seen it 6x in 10 years. He uses a lot audience participants so every show is different. Its a great show to take the kids and be prepared to laugh. I don't care how stressful you day or life has become, this show will take your mind off your worries and make you scratch your head trying to figure how he does every act. Get VIP seats if you can. Kids will love the show as well as drunk adults. read more

This was a great experience. I really don't think it was worth $50 plus tax to go see. But if you have anything to do, check it out. This guy is really phenomenal, I don't know how he does his talents, but he does them spot on. I think for me, the experience would've been more realistic and enjoyable if he would've at least messed up on one or two of his mind reading tricks. At this point, it's just too overwhelming to wrap your head around when he's able to guess or "" mine read every single thing. For example, he picks me from the audience made me go find a Random Dollar, and he blindfolded himself and read the serial number from the Random dollar that I picked... the serial number had like 20 numbers and letters on the bottom, like who does that. On the upside, the story behind how he got to where he is today is very heartwarming . And at the end it takes time to sign everybody's pamphlet and makes you pick a number in your head and he guesses it which is pretty cool. read more

Amazing show!! Surprised Frederic isn't performing in a larger theater than the Magic Attic at Bally's! That's how good he is! I've seen handfuls of mentalist type shows in Vegas, and this has been the best one yet! While some tricks are definitely mind games/tricks, most of the time, we had no idea how he was figuring things out! Highly recommended if you enjoy magic and/or mentalist shows! You won't be disappointed!! read more

This show was amazing! I find it quite easy to believe that the audience members that were picked to have their minds read were just assistants, but the way that they were picked shows that they did not know that they were going to be part of the show. Frederic has some sort of power that allows him to see and control people's brains. I would say that this is a good show for families. My father, 53, seemed to enjoy it according to his review, and the rest of my family also seemed to enjoy it. Anybody who left a 4 star review would be crazy. read more

The show is absolutely amazing! I've been twice and each time was awesome. I've seen several Mentalist; however, this one is by for the best in my experience. The Illusions are top notch and the theme of the show is inspiring. Mr. Da Silva is a performer with charisma and a compelling charm that attracts and holds the attention of the audience. His magnetism draws people in and holds them spellbound. The decision to see the show the first time was last second and I'm glad we made it! It was age appropriate for my 7 year old and he left excited:-) I also found the show extremely enjoyable. I would recommend for individuals of all ages! read more

Amazing show! I'm very cynical and always looking out for a hustle or a scam, and I love watching magic for this reason, to try to figure out how they do it. Frederick is a master. His show was perfect. He has put so much work into this, I'm sure. These aren't cheap tricks. His show is a mixture of sleight of hand, hypnosis, mathematics, dreams, and illusion. The only explanation I can come up with is that he had the entire audience hypnotized. After the show, he does a meet and greet, and did up close magic and hypnotized my whole family. Most people who come to Vegas are looking for experiences and activities at least a little bit outside the routine. This is without a doubt one such event because you're unlikely to find 75 minutes of entertainment line this anywhere else. I've seen all sorts of shows literally all around the world but I was left astounded throughout DaSilva's jaw dropping show. First of all, the man has charisma - he's so charming and connects with the audience immediately. Speaking of the audience - it's relatively small; we paid for VIP tickets to sit close to the stage but honestly I'd say that's not necessary. Audience participation is chosen randomly, which is one if the factors that makes it all that much more remarkable - you'll understand once you see the performance. And see it, you should! read more

Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. It didn't feel like he was just performing at the crowd. He involved people throughout the show and made the entire room feel part of the experience. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another trick would happen and completely change my mind. Seeing magic on TV is one thing, but seeing it happen right in front of you is mind-blowing. If you've ever been curious about magic or wanted to see a Vegas show that's different from the typical concerts and productions, I would definitely recommend this one. I left amazed and still thinking about some of the tricks afterward.

It became so intolerable that my hubby mentioned our discomfort to one of the ushers. She kindly sat us closer to the stage on a nice cushioned bench. I couldn't believe that they made such nice accommodations for us! Mat Franco is very engaging and very family oriented. We enjoyed his magic show, which is family friendly. You could hear the kids let out oooohs and aaaahs throughout the show. We highly recommend this very entertaining show.

There was a great mix of magic, humor, and audience participation, and storytelling that kept the pacing fresh from beginning to end. The first trick I had seen for the first time at the Magic Castle, but was delighted with the call back to that trick throughout the show. The comedic timing was fantastic. I love callback, and loved the callback with the cards, the fig newton, and colonel Saunders. My favorite parts included the fishing trick, the camping trick (traumatized a kid), and Colonel Saunders. I always looked forward to how he picks volunteers for his acts. The seating is strange, probably because the venue is also used for Thunder Down Under at night. But it enabled Mac King to run around and be his delightful self. The entire show was very Magic Castle coded. If you're unable to make it to the Magic Castle, this is a good option. If you enjoy going to the Magic Castle, you will love Mac King. They've been doing this show at the Rio for 25 years now and have been magicians for 50 years. It's quite a legacy. A majority of the acts require a long set up of Penn explaining things and doing a bit of comedy. Almost every single act involves some sort of audience participation which is pretty cool. What Penn says is that they are magicians who don't do illusions so their whole value proposition is generally old school, classic magic involving a deck of cards. Their act is absolutely superb and will leave you guessing how they even pull off their magic. The only thing I found really odd is that they had asked for specifically a child participant for one of their acts but as the show went on, a bunch of the language used was definitely not family friendly. Overall, if you love magic shows, I would say that this duo is a must see.

The venue itself also felt a bit dated and run-down, and the dark, demonic-themed set design wasn't really my style. Overall, I'm glad I finally got to see the show after wanting to for so long, but it wasn't the unforgettable experience I was hoping for.

(Ex: one of the fabric backdrops has a secret opening that up close, is visibly more dirty than the rest of the backdrop.) On the flip side, if you want to see how the tricks are done, get the VIP seats next to the stage. I won't spoil it by explaining which tricks get spoiled, but you'll see at least 4-5. My husband and I still had a good time but I think I'd enjoy it more if the tricks were still a mystery.

Another time, a pack of teenage boys determined to ruin the movie for everyone else. This time, my neighbor ate an entire large bag of chips from the opening scene to the closing credits, crunching every bite and rustling the bag nonstop. I know not every situation can be handled perfectly by staff, but people who disrupt the experience really should be escorted out. Pro tip: bring blankets because they like to run ac even in winter.

I decided to go traditional and just get a large popcorn and a large Diet Pepsi (yea, yea I know :P). The price wasn't too bad at all for $9.75 for both. I am still unclear on how to get a refill on the drink though. I do appreciate that the servers did not disrupt the movie at all. I have gone to theaters in other cities where they would step in front of the screen at times and it was maddening. - What's up with literally over a half freaking hour of previews and ads? Holy crap. lol I'm just going to add 20-30 minutes to the start time going forward. - Popcorn was solid. Not the best, not the worst. The soda is a 32 ounce. You're really working to make that last while devouring a large bucket of popcorn. Honestly, I love those large soda machines like at South Point. - Service was a-okay. I see some people report bad service, but everyone I spoke to was nice. I was greeted with a smile when I first got up there and greeted with a smile as I left. The servers were alright. I had to wait a while for my drink after they dropped off the popcorn. The delay was so much that I had to go ask the server in our theater if it was still on its way. Luckily not a minute later I had it. I just downloaded the Regal app and I can see myself coming back here since it's like a 10-minute drive from where I live. The sinks are disgusting (hairs, dirty foam, and junk by the drain) and there's a hand dryer that doesn't work and has not worked for well over a year and no one seems to care. It's not the worst. But it certainly was not what it used to be.

Words cannot begin to describe what a jaw dropping amazing performance Frederic da Silva puts on in his show, "Paranormal." He can literally read people's minds and, through hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming he can cause people to remember numbers on several dollar bills after they had only glanced at them. He can cause people's watches to stop at the exact time he predicted. He invites people in the audience to come on stage. To dispel the possibility of people concluding that he might have members of his staff planted in the audience, he tosses several Frisbees or stuffed animals into the audience and asks anyone who catches one of them to quickly toss it on to someone else. He repeats this until he senses that he has enough people. Then he calls stop, and those holding a Frisbee or animal get to come on stage to participate in his show. Da Silva's show is the best we've ever seen. It tops acts we've seen at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles, Sigmund and Roy, David Copperfield, Chris Angel, The Great Kreskin himself, and many other magicians. But more important than his amazing show is that he is truly humble. After the show finished, he made himself available to each member of the audience who wished to meet directly with him. Although his venue at this time is a medium sized theater in Bally's, we believe that he will eventually be the star in a large theater in which he will no longer be available to meet with audience members after the show. We happened to be the last in line and had a very cordial visit with him. He first of all signed his printed program for us as a souvenir of our visit. Then he spent additional time with us. First he told our son to think of a number between 1 and 100. Without any questions or hints Da Silva then proceeded to write the very number our son was thinking on a piece of paper, which totally astonished us. Then we asked if he could discern the name of our beloved, recently-passed dog whose name is Joy. Astonishingly, he wrote the word "Joy" on our program. We forgot to tell him that he could view a Youtube video that we made of her by typing the title, "Joy's Dog Advice and Wisdom." Da Silva is a master showman. He has a positive attitude and a winning smile. His show was the highlight of our four-day stay in Las Vegas. We predict that if he so desires, he will write at least one book and he will have fame galore. Da Silva began his career here in the U.S. about nine years ago when he decided to leave his native France to come to come Las Vegas, a place he said that he was drawn to without equivocation. I went in with High Expectations, Came out Willing to Write a 5-Star Review. This guy really does two things incredibly well. First, his show is simply outstanding. The magic is incredible - you'll be wondering how he performed certain tricks for days/weeks afterward. This is minor, but the music the show is set to is just great - think of how John Williams soundtracks helped make Star Wars and other huge 80s/90s movies so memorable. Also, we went with 5 kids (ages 6-10) and 5 adults (ages 23-43) and EVERYONE loved the show. That's impressive when you can see a show that equally appeals to those 6 and 43. Second, he's funny as hell. He's obviously been refining his craft for years but all his jokes feel authentic and are often improvised on the spot. There's nothing canned about it. He's just a great entertainer - very easy/fun/entertaining to watch/listen to. Separately, I'd recommend that you do the meet & greet afterward, especially if you have kids. We waited 5-10 minutes in line after the show to meet him and he couldn't have been more gracious even though we were near the back of the line. We took photos with him and he actually did a few magic tricks for us on the spot - one of which blew me away. Speaking for myself and my family, I (we) would recommend this show with no reservations whatsoever. Pro tip - if it's in your budget, get VIP tickets up front because the seats are flat (not on an incline) so it's much easier to see near the front. read more

Just came from the Frederic Da Silva's show and have I got a story for you. I met a mentalist with the same amazing abilities Mr. Da Silva possesses just over 15-years ago, the mentalist known as "The Amazing Kreskin." The Amazing Kreskin knew I was a doubter the moment I walked into his home, but before I left that day he demonstrated his gift and had me convinced, without a doubt, that his abilities were real. Anyway, I sort of chanted Kreskin's name in my mind on the way into the Da Silva show today. After the show, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Da Silva in the lobby - he does a full meet and greet with anyone who cares to meet him after the performance - and I told him I met someone like him 15-years ago. We had a little back and forth during which I challenged him to tell me the name of the person. Mr. Da Silva said: "No, you tell me his name, trust me." I said, "The Amazing Kreskin." He opened his suit coat and had me reach into his inside pocket. At the bottom of his pocket was a small crumbled up Post-It note. He said, "Something told me to jot this down before the show." Written on the Post-It was one word - KRESKIN! If you can only see one show in Vegas - if you can only see one show in your lifetime - this is the one. Oh, and not only is this man gifted at a level we earthlings will never comprehend, he is also a consummate performer with a sparkling stage presence. read more

Let me start by saying the show itself? 10/10. Straight magic. Like real-life "how is this even possible?" type of magic. You'll sit there questioning every decision you've made for the last decade. He's that good. But let's be real -- the beginning was rough. The whole "first come, first serve" setup had zero structure. VIP is the first two rows, but nobody really tells you that. No signs, no announcements, just vibes and confusion. We had to figure it out on the fly. I bought through Ticketmaster thinking I chose seats -- ended up on the side in the front. Luckily, the view was still solid. And heads up: grab your seat first, then go to the bar. No one explains that, and once the good spots are gone, they're gone. Flat soda, popcorn was decent -- but honestly, by that point, I was already kinda annoyed. But here's the thing: the show brought it back. All the way back. Small venue, which actually made it more powerful. He was pulling strangers from the audience, doing full-on mind-reading like it was nothing. Trick after trick, just locked in. The energy shifted -- fast. Everyone in that room was hooked. The meet and greet after? Beautiful. He's warm, humble, and present. You can tell this isn't a job to him -- it's a passion. It was a great show. I enjoyed it. Very fast paced and interactive. Not sure how I feel about the spirit calling part though. Not sure if it's true... Overall a great show and highly recommend it! Ps I was so fascinated by how he did it. So I went on to do some research on mentalism. It turned out many of his tricks were classical tricks in mental magic. I remembered he always asked the participants to write down the number, word or birth date on a piece of paper before he made his predictions. From what I learned, you can guess what people write from pencil reading or reading hand movements. Also, he asked participants to repeat whatever they were thinking of in the mind, I guess he was doing subtle lip or facial muscle reading. Even the blindfolding is a trick lol it turned out the tighter the blindfold the easier it is to "peep" lol for guessing the serial number on the bill, I remember he was holding the bill. I assume he did it by "peeping" and touching. Of course, I have to admit it takes years of practice and talent to be able to do all these. And for some of the tricks i still have no idea he did it. We first wanted to see Criss Angel and decided to read yelp reviews on magic Shows and saw that this one was the best dea. Lucky for us, otherwise we would never decided to see the fantastic and very unique show Paranormal. Frederic Da Silva is really Amazing from the beginning to the end of his awesome perfomance. there is no one dead moment, every second worth to be seen. we were completly astonished with all the acts and couldn t have even the beginning of an explanation, specially when he asked a spectator to think of any time and then stopped another guy s watch at the right time selescted. Then another person felt taps on his shoulder when the mentalist was actually touching another person. every volonteer is chosen by chance with frisbees and looks really random. if you have a chance to go on stage, don t hesitate, you will remember that show and talk about it for years!!! i will see it again for sure to try to figure out the secrets ! it s incredible. much more intimate an affordable that other magicians in las vegas. it s an excellent deal. read more

In our show, I was sitting in the front row but as bad as I wanted to be chosen to participate, I had a very tricky low cut dress on and was terrified I'd have a wardrobe malfunction on stage so was very relieved when I wasn't chosen. But during the meet and greet after the show, he offered to do a trick for us since I didn't get to be on stage and he asked me to pick a number from 0-100. My go to number is always 17 so I purposely chose a different number than that (39) while he asked me to focus on the number and jotted something down on the brochure he signed. Sure enough, he flipped it around and it was 39!! Not only was he incredibly talented, engaging, entertaining, and inspiring, but he seemed to genuinely care that his audience enjoyed their time and even took additional time for meet and greets after. 39 stars for this guy!! : ) read more

I recently attended Frederick DaSilva's Paranormal Mind-Reading Magic show at The Horseshoe in Vegas, and I was absolutely blown away by his incredible talent. It's truly mystifying how he performs his acts--guessing numbers you're merely thinking of and even reciting serial numbers from a $100 bill right out of my wallet. The show, coupled with a free meet-and-greet afterwards, was undoubtedly the highlight of my Vegas trip. Frederick's ability to engage and amaze his audience is unparalleled. The value you get for the price is exceptional, surpassing many of the more expensive shows on the Strip. What's great is that every seat offers a good view and an opportunity to be part of the action, though I'm hoping to be called on stage during my next visit in June. If you're in Vegas and can only see one show, make it this one. Frederick DaSilva's show isn't just entertaining; it's a mesmerizing experience that you'll want to relive. I can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to being spellbound all over again. read more

So the show is real and deserves a 5 star review. The people who participate are real spectators as I was one. I attended in late September 2022 and was (randomly) called on to take part of the calculator trick. While the trick and everyone before and after me were great, it occurred to me that what the audience sees and what you do up on stage are very different. Frederic "hypnotized" me on stage. I followed his instructions, went along with his instructions (close my eyes, focused on things, etc....) and reopened my eyes when he told me too. When I got back to my seat, my gf was amazed that I was hypnotized to which I told her I wasn't. I kept still and closed my eyes because he told me too, not because I was under any trance. I realized that if she thought I was hypnotized then so did everyone in the audience. I guess it's all part of the "show" but what you see as a spectator vs as a participant isn't the same. Mr. Da Silva is the most talented mind-reader/performer we have ever seen. His show is very fast-paced and he does at least 20 readings in the hour. Every "trick" is amazing. My wife and I went to the "meet and greet" after the show and were the last people in line. My wife asked Mr. Da Silva a question and he offered to read her mind if she would think of a name. During the show we sat next to a couple from Australia. My wife's former daughter-in-law was from Australia so she was on my wife's mind. Mr. Da Silva asked if the name my wife was thinking of was common and she said no. He asked her how many letters were in it and my wife said 5 but added that it could be spelled with 4. Mr. Da Silva asked if there was an "n" in the middle and my wife said yes. He wrote some letters on the program but wasn't sure how to pronounce the name (his native language is French). He had, however, written Llana which is the correct name and spelling! read more

Being a Total Rewards Diamond member thru Caesar's Entertainment group, we get 2 free show tickets a month. This show was on the comp list this month and having seen most of the other ones available, we chose Paranormal. I am as skeptical as they come, but I was truly entertained and some times even blown away by this show. Of course, there is some magic and/or tricks involved in what he does. That's a given. The audience members who were brought on stage are NOT a part of the act or trick. How do I know? Because my daughter and I were both on stage at different times during the show. Some of the tricks you can probably fathom a pretty logical guess on how it's done, but others will keep you guessing for days. This is a great show for anyone to see and you will certainly be entertained. I don't see how anyone can give a 1 or 2 star rating for this show. It certainly warrants 4 or 5 stars from all in attendance. Go see it. read more

If there's one show you have to see in Vegas, make it this one! One would think there would be plants, but I know for a fact there are none, I went on stage myself! Go see him, and be amazed! If you're a skeptic like I am, don't worry, you'll be 100% satisfied with the lengths Frederic goes to prove the selection is entirely random. Doubt as you may, you won't be able to guess how he does any of his tricks. You may know they're tricks but the more you think about them, the more dumbfounded you'll be: he's that good. Make sure to come early if you want a good selection of seats, but as someone who was seated at the very edge of the room, you still get a perfect viewe of the stage. I truly can not emphasize enough, and I say this as a massive Penn and Teller fan: this is the best magic show I've ever seen. You will experience a myriad of emotions certainly, but definitely not disappointment. read more

I saw this show with my wife February 22nd. My wife was thrown a Frisbee and called on stage. Frederic Da Silva was able to know the word painting she saw in a book and then predicted not only the word but where it would be located in a dictionary. She also took part in holding a watch and changing the time while it not being seen. Frederic had someone else tell her when to stop moving the watch which was the exact time the other volunteer had picked and Frederic predicted. These were just a few of the things in his show. After the show we went to get a picture with him and he looked at me and asked me to think of a number which he guessed correctly in a second. This last part was not part of the show and he did this with several others waiting to get a photo with him. This is the best show I've seen in Vegas and will go again. Superb Show. I just went last night. He is amazing. If you don't see this show, you really miss best piece out of Las Vegas. I would highly recommend each and every person to go. Each and every minute and every second you will enjoy the show. He is very involved , focussed, passionate and I guess simply he loves what he is doing. This is best show I ever seen in my life. You may think, I may be over-reacting, but honestly it's fact. I believe each and everyone in the show yesterday evening (Tuesday-12/27/2016- 4o'clock show) would agree with this review. 100% worth of ticket. I really want you to stop and and take picture with him. He is super friendly and very natural. No non-sense , No over action, No boring. Last point- I connected emotionally also with this show. Such a cool show ! Best show I have seen so far. Keep up the good work Frederic !!! He is definitely genuine. He probably already knows I would write something like this, since he has mind reading powers :) I made an account just to write this review. His hard work and effort shows. Not going to mention anything specific because I want it to stay a surprise for others reading this review. Loved this show, and I really like Frederic himself too. I'll never forget this night. I had free tickets to the show so I didn't have high expectations other than just having an enjoyable afternoon. This guy was totally engaging and truly amazing! Fabulous fabulous show! The "tricks" he does are impossible to figure out, and even the skeptics I was with were impressed and dumbfounded. I'm guessing he does some stuff via hypnosis, some via magic trick and some just trick/distraction and/or observation. HOWEVER he accomplishes these things, though, the cool thing is--- you don't know how he does it! It's not like he's saying "I'm hypnotizing these people"--he just talks and does super cool things that seem like mind reading/psychic phenomena. Go see him now at Bally's because this performer will be moving to a more expensive Strip venue soon, I'm sure. read more

I ve seen all the shows in Las Vegas and this one is my number One !! Paranormal The Mindreading Magic Show takes place at Ballys, right on the center of the strip wich is very convinient ( you don t waste your money on taxi cab) The theatre is small wich is perfect because the audiance is envolved in every act. Frederic Da Silva is a very awesome man and he is absolutly Amazing !!! We had no idea of any thing was done. The act with the spirit bell was very impressive. He has an incredible enthousiasm an energy on stage, wich is not the case of David Copperfield and also he is available at the end of the show to sign autographes and take pictures with his fans. I really would recommand this show to everyone. Specially the time slot was perfect during the afternoon. read more

After watching the show and being able to get front row seats, I am still mind boggled at how he does all of the acts. Almost all of his acts involve random audience members which gives tons of opportunities to be a part of the show and see for yourself that he can read minds. After all, seeing is believing and I still can't believe what I saw. After the show, people were able to see him and get their free autograph pamphlet signed and ask him questions. My mom was skeptical about his acts so, to show that he was no joke, he actually performed a small mind reading right in front of her and guessed right! The show was overall one of the best entertaining shows I have ever seen, especially for the price, and I would recommend to anyone with or without kids. read more

This was an amazing show. I had always wanted to see a big time magic show and I chose this one because of the ratings. It did not disappoint. Da Silva is an amazing performer, witty, funny and a mast at his craft. Its truly mind blowing. He even involved my 10 year old daughter into the show correctly stating the words on a page of her own book she had selected even when she had forgotten everything but the page number. I wish I could write of all of the amazing things he did but you just have to see it yourself to believe it. The way he personally met with every attendee after teh show was a perfect ending to a perfect show. I cant possibly say enough about just how amazing the experience was. read more

It was the most amazing thing ever. He read my mind on 2 occasions. During the show I went to the restroom and when I returned he did not see me enter. I snuck in the back when his back was turned and minutes later he acknowledged me with a welcome back. I was sure he did not see me leave. It was amazing and he also couldn't see me crouching in the back. After the show I met him and he guessed my birthdate without me even asking or any question. He then took the last 5 guests who were coming to meet him and did a special mind reading for us. It was completely personal and mind blowing. Please go see the show, as a skeptic I was proven wrong.
