Paranthas are good freshly made but they are not tasty enough I mean we get frozen Deep's parathas that are so much tastier. Recently went to this Indian restaurant in New Jersey. Had a very very good experience. We landed in JFK at around 1.30 in the morning and were famished. Hence on our way home in New Port, we decided to stop by. We ordered the food over the phone and by the time we reached and sat down, we had the food on the table....Wotta service :) The food was very tasty & authentic unlike many other 'Fake' Indian restaurants. We eventually ended up overeating when the manager insisted us to try their speciality 'RABDI' which was really good. read more

The food was disgusting and awful. The test was ridiculous. The roti was burned and birayani was not good at all. We have thrown all food in the garbage. And when we call to complaint, The manager was giving bullshit answers. And the service was awful. I completely hated the food and their service. The service was extremely poor and the mirchi parathas half cooked and partially raw. Also we ordered sarson ka saag, was extremely sour and so was the buttermilk. ultimately they couldn't be bothered when we approached them. Would be real careful of ever coming here again. read more

Sorry to disappoint the Indian population living here but this is just a restaurant serving Indian food. It is by no means an INDIAN restaurant. We ordered aloo paratha and chicken 65. Both were very well prepared. The paratha was huge and extremely soft. The chicken 65 was nice and crisp. The spice quotient was just right. The Green chutney served was sad. The only put off of the restaurant was the charging for aloo paratha accompaniments. Its unheard off and unpardonable. The low star rating is only on account of that. read more

Small place, with moderately inventive decor, especially the lights on the wall and the industrial floor. I did a take out of Gobi and Aloo paratha and a sweet and a salt lassi. So it is prepared fresh which is a bonus. I found the parathas to have toooooooo much masala and salt, thus any subtle flavors are drowned out. The lassies were over salted and sweet as well. So I will give the place a pass in future. read more

A solid option when you're in Little India. I've had their takeout and have also eaten at the restaurant. I can attest to the tastiness of the parathas. The couple from New Delhi that I went with a few times can attest to their authenticity. Their curries are also consistently good. Minor complaint: I'm a big fan of Gobi 65 (they call it something else here) and theirs has a bit more breading than I would like. When it was time for me to get married and decide for a catering vendor, no one came to my mind but Paratha junction. I met Harish (restaurant manager)and explained him my requirements. He guided me well in finalizing the menu and did an amazing job in ensuring me about being at the venue on time and also about the quality. On my wedding day, the food was delivered on time and everyone loved the food and gave us a lot of compliments. Everything was so smooth and communication was amazing. Paratha Junction is unethical and basically rude. We ordered delivery of HALF Tandoori Chicken, Saag and Samosa Chat. The Tandoori Chicken only came wit 2.5 pieces, drumstick and breast. I don't believe that is HALF a chicken! That's false advertisement. And their excuse that they knew this wasn't half a chicken but that's what the owner gives is pathetic. If that wasn't enough, the order was also missing rice. We called them to let them know and the guy was basically arguing with us and not wanting to send us the food. Seriously? They mentioned about next time but there will not be a next time. The meal was expensive too and I don't believe this is how a customer should be treated. Paratha, you need to re-evaluate your morals and do the right thing by your customers. You may feel you can get away with treating us this way but we're making a complaint to the AG and Better Business Bureau. You can explain it to them. read more

This one star isn't because of bad food but bad service. My food tasted pretty good(though it's my first time eating Indian food). My one star is for doing an online order and getting a call that one of my items wasn't available (which is fine) and I was offered a replacement that never came in my bag. I called and said I was missing food and was told they'd send someone in 15min, never showed up. I'm in a hotel and special requested utensils and napkins, none of which came. I went to this restaurant with so many expectation on 6th August, 15 with my very close friend. I myself recommended it and asked my friend to go to this restaurant as I love different Parantha, any north Indian will love that, and by name it looks like they master in preparing the paranthas but my expectations were clearly turned down first by the ambience and then the waiters in the restaurant. 1. Paranthas were pathetic as they were not evenly stuffed and I could feel only the thick floor that too half cooked. 2. I called the waiter and he was busy looking at the computer and not the listening to the customer. 3. I again called the guy and told him, showed him that the parantha's were half cooked with very little stuffing. I denied that I am not gong to eat them and replace them. 4. He took them away with half heartedly and I am sure he must have been cursing me which I could make out from his body language. 5. He brought the other paranthas and surprisingly they were the same with pathetic attitude. 6. This place sucks and if you don't believe me then visit once and find out.
