A really fun Indian street food place in jersey city!!! We got the live pani puri, misal pav, and ragada samosa. All of the food was really good!!! We also got the chikoo shake, sitaful shake, and mango lassi. The mango lassi was a bit too thick but the taste was good. The chikoo and sitaful shake exceeded my expectations because it tasted really close to Indian fruit!! The owner said they get their fruit from Indian so it tracks, but it was still shocking!! Overall loved this place and it had a fun vibe as well!

Loved the paneer tikka rolls! Their pani puri is also solid. They had 5 flavors with a variety of sweet and savory! lWould recommend those!

We had the Vada Pav, Pani Puri and Chole/Kulcha - all three dishes were good.

There were a large variety of choices for the buffet, and I tried a little bit of everything. It was all cooked well and wonderfully flavorful with tons of warm seasonings. Stand outs included butter chicken, noodles, curry, and tandoori. I would have liked more seafood options and meat other than chicken though. The Naan was served warm and slightly crisp, while still being soft. I decided to also order a drink called Shahi Falooda. Since I never tried it, I didn't know how it was supposed to look, even though I thought the presentation was a bit weird, as there were pieces of toast dredged in the liquid. When I tried it, there seemed to be all the flavors described, including rose almond milk, tutti frutti, and vanilla ice cream. It tasted creamy, sweet, and unique, with the ingredients mingling well together. Service was definitely lacking. When the bill came, it was listed as a dessert, so I inquired about it. The waiter responded that they did not have the beverage available, so served me something else instead. This really irked me that the waiter would knowingly do this without mentioning up front that they were out of the beverage, allowing me the free choice to either order another drink or not get one at all. The waiter then told us it would be taken off the bill, but a different waiter came out to inform us that the manager would not allow that. While the food was actually pretty good, this was a very upsetting experience and I will not be returning. At least this taught me to always speak up when I have a doubt or question about anything I order.

I wish that they offered some sort of lunch special, but unfortunately they only have one set menu. They had a lot of seating, and a lounge area as well. I ordered the Deccan special biryani. It comes with boneless chicken, which is actually a favorite of mine that not a lot of places offer. The biriyani was really good, one of the best I've had in a while. It's perfectly spiced and flavorful with a generous portion. It can easily be shared between 2 or 3 people. Overall, I plan on coming back when I'm in the area. The biryanis in Manhattan do not compare to this. I personally do not prefer the Dum style biriyani, so I was very happy the special was a regularly prepared dish. However, they do offer dum biryani as well.

The food was tasty and flavorful but everything was on the saltier side. For Drinks I got mango lassi which is perfect! The restaurant is fairly neat and simple. One thing that made the experience unenjoyable was the service. Some of the female staff showed attitude and were not pleasant. There was a male server who brought us our food- very polite and pleasant. I would say take out is a better option than going there in person.

You will see multiple different restaurants within a span of hundred meters... and I'm sure you'll be confused where to eat.. if you're craving for a good south Indian spicy food food I strongly suggest this restaurant.. it's also BYOB.. fantastic service.. the biggest headache is parking.. It's hard to get street parking and I had to pay about $12 for the parking... if not for the parking this restaurant has only positives . I also had food in their Edison branch. We ordered chicken Chuka and it was really peppery and good.. perfect South Indian aRoma and taste.. my friend had fish fry and he just loved it.. there were five or six small pieces of the fry.. I still think it's slightly expensive about $20-$22 for the fish and generally all of the dishes.. the best one was dindukal thalapakatti biryani . Nice and very tasty . Good experience overall. Wanted to give a 4 star but gave a 5 star just for the taste and service !!!

If you been rocking since 1919, mi amor, I **have** to come see what's going on. That alone made me wanna pull up And let me tell you... I walked from Jersey City Heights down to downtown -- not a bad walk at all, un chin de cardio before breakfast . Real "treat yourself, mi amor" type of morning. Soon as I walked in... BABYYYY I felt like I got teleported straight into a little Italian market Shelves full of Italian goodies -- pastas, oils, snacks... I was like *yo quiero todo esto* It was giving *ciao bella, benvenuti, mangia mangia* vibes all day. The staff? Súper nice. No attitude, no rush -- just good energy. I told them it was my first time and asked what they're known for, and they really put me on No gatekeeping over here. My husband got the #7 (on a roll) I got the #8 (on a bagel) We sat outside and did what married people do... switched sandwiches halfway Now listen... mine was good -- turkey, egg, pesto... she was cute, she had flavor, estaba bien ‍ BUT HIS?! Ese sándwich estaba otro nivel. I don't know if it was the roasted peppers or what but *Dios mío*... delicioso, chef's kiss Only thing? Next time I'm switching my bagel for a roll porque ese pan estaba hitting different. The roll? Soft, fresh, perfecto. Also... let me tell you about the BACK They got frozen pastas, little Napoli-style dishes, a whole meat section that looked crazy fresh, and you can order cold sandwiches too. Esto no es solo un deli -- it's a whole Italian experience, okurrr. And yes... it's a *little* pricey, no te voy a mentir. Pero honestly? You get what you pay for. Calidad, sabor, vibes -- todo está ahí. I skipped the coffee porque estoy tratando de behave con el budget but next time? And I'm coming back for that banana pudding porque I'm obsessed no shame. They got a little patio if you wanna sit, or you can take your food to the park and have a whole picnic moment. Real main character energy. Ponte linda, grab your sandwich, and just vibe out. Overall? 5 stars Good food, good vibes, buena gente. CARGIANO'S said "treat yourself" y yo dije... say less

Turkey on the other one was cut thinly and very fresh. Bread was outstanding, we'll be back next time we're in the area.
