I almost missed it next to Starbucks. It was pretty busy inside even at 8:30 am but pickup was quick at the counter. They gave candles for free and we found out that there were matches in the plastic knife- very fancy! As for the flavor of the cake itself, it was not too sweet and the cream was very light. My colleague from work introduced me to the Chocolate Cream Ganache (CCG) slice cake that can only be found at Paris Baguette (PB). Thank you sir! One weekend, I was in route to seek it out LOL. I happened to be in the San Gabriel (SG) Valley area so I went to the PB SG location on Las Tunas Blvd. Unfortunately, they ran out. I checked on Google to find the next nearest PB. I found this one recently opened in Arcadia. Cool! It was on my way home so here I am. This PB location is the smallest PB I have ever visited. It's right outside a new development of condos and next door to a ramen place. Their selection of sweet and savory pastries plus cakes are somewhat limited from what I can tell. They have limited inside seating, but quite initimate. I came here for one item and one item only... they didn't have it. No CCG slice cake! I didn't want to leave empty handed. There was one cinnamon apple pie staring at me LOL. My daughters love their apple pies so I bought it. Staff was super friendly and nice. They were very helpful and informative. Thank you misses! I love this chain! I was so excited when I saw the opening soon signs. Now that they're finally open, here are highlights. The space looks very clean and the food/drink is fairly consistent to their other locations. They have a smaller indoor space than other locations I have been to and they have an outdoor patio facing the street. The street is pretty busy so it can be a bit loud outside. The parking lot entrance is tiny, so don't miss it! It's right after the Starbucks entrance. The big one: They don't have WiFi :( So I wouldn't recommend working here. I use to be a regular at Paris Baguette at the Arcadia Mall back in the day when it was opened there, so I was super happy to see a new Arcadia after many years. Going in felt very nostalgic for me. This location is by the condos off of Las Tunas and Santa Anita Ave. Similar layout with the pastries lined up upon entering. You grab a tray and tongs and pick what you like. I enjoyed the selection they had, but I felt like there could be more. Some of my favorites included the strawberry cream filled croissant, hot dog roll, and the crab croquet. They can toast your pastries for you. I ordered the matcha latte with almond milk; it tasted pretty standard for me, nothing extraordinary. The restaurant is much smaller inside compared to other locations I've been to, however, there was more seating outside. Overall, I enjoyed the ambience and interior design. Service was really great with very friendly workers. My main con was that the parking lot was tiny and will be full on busy nights. I had to park on the street and walk in. Pastries are always on par! It's a bit pricey compared to other bakeries but these are super high quality and not as sweet (the ultimate Asian compliment). I really like their cakes and criossants. Make sure to pick up their salted bread as it's a nice balance to cut the slight sweetness of the other packed goods. The only issue I had were their drinks. I've had the matcha latte and they were waaay too sweet. I asked if they could adjust and the employee looked like she could kill me. Parking is a bit tight but I never had an issue.
