This is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to in the SGV. I love that they have a lot of ube treats as well as drinks. I love to get their ube latte hot. It always looks pretty and taste delicious. One of my fave treats to get is their ube twist. However, I did have their hot dog and cheese flower bread and it was delicious as well. They also have a banana latte and my friend loved it! Staff did say that the banana latte is a popular flavor. This place is great! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Plus the interior looks so cool inside. Overall, this place is definitely a true hidden gem if you have not been here.

The vibe is sweet local coffee shop with a wonderful assortment of drinks and baked goods! I got the Ube latte with oat milk and it was perfectly sweet balanced with the espresso. My boo got a lavender latte with almond and it was perfect floral creamy! Service was fast and sweet.

This bread??? 10/10 so fluffy & satisfying

Came in with a friend who'd been before and so glad she showed me this spot! An Asian owned cafe that sold some classic pastries and a SLEW of drinks! They had a ridiculously vast menu for a cafe, it made it hard to pick. What I gauged is: whatever you order you won't be disappointed.

Very casual bakery for your sweet tooth needs. I loved their pandan and ube crumble cookies. Was excited to find these in the area because I don't see much Filipino treats in this part of the SGV. I would love to come back and try more! The twisted breads were also delicious, buttery and soft. And the prices arent too bad either!

I had a good experience at Cloverleaf Coffee (Temple City). I ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee ($5.75 - Large - 20oz). I felt awake after sipping. It's silky, chill coffee. Its aftertaste is reminiscent of rich, dark chocolate. I arrived at Cloverleaf Coffee (Temple City) on Wednesday (around 11:40AM). Parking is straightforward. I quickly found a spot in the tiny private parking lot; there's about 12 spots. If full, the nearby neighborhood had street parking. Staff is very friendly and kindly; however, they're short staffed. This location is popular, and it's common to be waiting listlessly as Staff focuses on other orders. Still, Staff is professional and dedicated. My drink took six minutes and 26 seconds. As mentioned, I appreciated the Vietnamese Iced Coffee ($5.75 - Large - 20oz). The familiar flavor of fresh coffee is present, and it's a tasty, smooth coffee. The price is also very competitive for its hefty size. This coffee is crisp & fresh with an enduring caffeine. Regarding ambiance, Cloverleaf Coffee (Temple City) is a good study/work spot. The long counter contains six embedded electrical outlets in its underside. There's also customer internet with password; customers must speak to staff for internet details. In addition, there's a gender neutral restroom. Surprisingly, this location is also family friendly with its high chair for kids. However, the location can sometimes get loud from the clanking and grinding of the kitchen's machines by the counter. The music is also extremely soft. Fortunately, the place has a good amount of seating. There's about four indoor tables, one indoor counter, and six outside patio tables. The location is also well-ventilated. The location also feels relatively clean, but the area feels aged and worn down. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Cloverleaf Coffee (Temple City). There's quality and talent packed within. If nearby, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5

11/14/25 Ube latte (left) & oat milk latte (right)

11/14/25 This cute coffee & bakery shop is serving up great coffee & pastries, with efficient service. This was literally minutes from where we're staying & glad we tried it. The usual for Hubby, hot oat milk latte & I ordered an ube latte (hot). The machine they use is La Marzocco so it was a fairly safe bet that they take pride in their crafted drinks that it would be more than decent. Yes it was!!! I was eyeing the basque cheesecake & I think I'd wanna get it at another visit. Thankfully, this business is on a corner & it has its own dedicated parking. It's quiet, good for studying or getting work done. There's indoor & outdoor patio (covered) seating, about a dozen or so patrons at each. You may pre order your Thanksgiving pies now. I really gotta try that basque cheesecake!

One of the most hidden gems in the 626, located across from Ralph's in Temple City. The business has been around for 15 years and their products do be selling out fast. Meaning it's good! I got some pastries to try and a few drinks. The spam and egg croissants were really good. Flakey and not too buttery which is good to indulge on an empty stomach in the morning. Spam and furikake egg pairs well with it. Not too salty! For the drinks, I got a blueberry matcha and brown sugar coffee. Since I'm not a coffee drinker, my friend said it's pretty good! My matcha was okay. It may have been because I asked for 50% sweetness so I couldn't taste the blueberry as much. Service wise was amazing! I believed I might have talked to the owner. Friendly smiles all around. Cozy shop and it seem they have a lot of breakfast items as well. Hope they continue to be around for a bit because it's very close to my house. Will be back to try it again!

The drinks selection and the pastries were delicious! Had been wanting to check out this place for a while and really glad we did! The egg bread, a butter croissant & a panda cookie!

    Ube Twist was yummy

Very delicious mom and pop coffee spot! Love that they open super early at 6:30am and don't close until 5 BUT they're closed on Mondays Parking was very easy since they have their own parking lot and there is street parking available! Menu has a lot of variety of coffee, matcha, teas, smoothies, and pastries! Pricing is a little difficult to see since it's on a chalkboard and the words are quite small. Pricing for drinks was pretty reasonable ($5+),most pastries were $3+, and sandwiches were $10.49. There are milk substitutions for extra $0.60. Service was decent. Not welcoming at first when I entered at 7am but the staff acknowledged me 5 minutes after I was there to ask if I was ready to take my order. Asked him what their popular drinks were and he recommended the iced sea salt caramel latte and matcha drinks. Inside was quite small but there are a few chairs and tables, as well as outdoor seating. The Iced Salt Caramel Latte ($5.45) - requested less ice/ half sweet w/ oat milk and it was pretty creamy and not too sweet. It reminded me of a caramel macchiato from Starbucks but this tasted less sweet and was creamier. This was 8/10 Ube Twist ($3.25) was very delicious! It was very soft and fresh! It wasn't too sweet and had a lot of ube inside! Shangri-La Sandwich ($10.49) consisted of chicken breast, orange glaze, pepper jack cheese, arugula, and tomato. It was very fresh and tasty! The chicken was a little dry but the greens were very fresh. It'd have been better if the chicken was more flavorful. This was 7/10 Would recommend and return

Stopped by here for a coffee after 6:30 AM on a Friday, thinking it was open since their hours stated so. It wasn't open and I did see a few people waiting in the parking lot, but we weren't sure when it would be opened so we left. Luckily, the staff did come to the bakery closer to 7AM, and we were able to turn back. We got their matcha swirl and ube mochi croissant. Both were okay, nothing special. The matcha swirl didn't have much matcha flavor and the bread was okay. The ube mochi croissant was better, it was a bit crispy and chewy. The ube flavor was also there, so I definitely recommend trying this one. Overall, I had an okay experience here. There's a small parking lot outside of the bakery, and there's some indoor seating inside the bakery.

OMGosh yes! Came in to try this place again. And it was just what I needed. I needed a quick bite and tried their spam and egg croissant. It hit the spot so well, I'm doing a little happy dance. I'm glad that the staff was fast and friendly. I hope everyone's able to give them a try. I love family, run businesses, especially when they put their best into it.

croissant trio & iced strawberry matcha latte
    Emma N.

Good service and smooth transaction; I got the croissant trio and an iced strawberry matcha latte. The croissant was really overtoasted and therefore hard to bite into, but the inside components were good (not worth the price though). The matcha wasn't too bad but obviously not high quality or whisked because it was really milky and not thick at all. Overall, not a bad spot to stop by but wouldn't return.

Originally founded in JPN and later introduced to Taiwan, whereby it became a household name. This location is in San Gabriel Valley in a large corner shopping plaza. I have walked pasa by this bakery for ages but never had the chance to check it out until now. I walked-in and I did not see no difference between this and with other Asian Bakery style like 86 degree, JJ's or Phoenix bakeries. Same style, same layout, same prices, same service and same quality. But one thing I notice is the popularity of the brand to locals. Anyways, I tried their individually wrapped bread bakery such as tuna and chicken. Both were soft, tasty and satisfying to me mouth. Moreover, I ordered a Mango Green Tea because I was silently choking. My drink was refreshing, perfectly sweetened Mango purée and a life saver. Hehe. Their young female staff were cordial and professional. Prices were definitely competitive. Service was fast & efficient. Parking lot is huge. Overall, I am very satisfied with their bakery products and fruit tea drinks. I highly recommend you visit. If you have not tried, you have not lived. ;D lol

Super excited because the mini fruit tarts are going to look amazing on my newly purchased dessert tray! I was feeling a bit sleepy so I decided to fuel up & eat breakfast while I was there. If you're a big eater and want the additional potatoes and pancakes, I recommend paying a few dollars more and ordering the Breakfast platter. The Vanilla Latte came in a paper cup (a bit bummed out by not being able to take a more IG worthy picture of that), but it actually tasted really good! Same with the sausage links - it was probably one of the best tasting ones I've had for breakfast in a while. Aside from their wide selection of pastries and food options, their customer service was phenomenal. Every customer that walked through the door was greeted upon arrival and thanked on their way out. The restaurant was very clean and the cakes looked so beautiful behind the glass case.
