Happy to see this place a lot busier than past visits. It's really the only authentic French bakery in the area (that has expansive service including wine...). It's a great addition to this area and everyone should pop in for a breezy relaxed atmosphere & scrumptious treats savory & sweet.

Don't hate! I could NOT stop eating this almond croissant before snapping a pic

I've been to this place a few times and i've had mixed experiences. It seems as if the pastries are very well made. However the coffee is definitely a mixed bag. Today I ordered a cortado and let the woman know what I was expecting and she did a great job. If I could give the almond croissant a ten out of five I would. It. Was absolutely a ethereal and one of the best i've ever had. All the pastries look amazing.I have yet to eat some of the savory food but they had offerings of croque monsieur, cassoulet, chicken with mushrooms, etc. I absolutely love french food and especially country style. This place is definitely very pricey. It was $17.14 for 1 pastry and coffee plus 18% tip. Ugggh ...so I won't visit often. That said, I will visit agaun when a real French pastry fix is in order.

The croissant and smoked salmon sandwich were great! Some of the best we've had in Austin. The staff was so friendly, and authentically from France. Would recommend.

Went here for some pastries and they were pretty good. The chocolate croissant was flakey and excellent but I thought the almond croissant had a weird taste and was too chewy for my preference. I have to knock it down a star because the coffee is completely overpriced for just nespresso pods you can buy yourself for pennies.

This is my favorite Boulangerie in Texas and is owned by the sweetest French couple. I'm so glad they opened this location in Austin since I'm a little reluctant to drive all the way down to San Antonio from Dallas for some French goodies. Everything here is so fresh and the service is kind and fast. Also, love the display of their baked and refrigerated goods. For my family, the ham and butter sandwich and the croissants are favorites. Oh and eclairs when they are available!

The pastries and breads and desserts are mostly brought in from the San Antonio shop, which is big and has ovens and a mixer. This place doesn't. The pastries look 2 days old and most are Frenched. If you don't like dark baked pastries, try and pre order, with a note, email and text.

Banana bread pudding, Cappucino, I forgot the layered pastry name but it was incredible!

The French pastries & cappuccino I had from Saveurs were nothing short of absolutely perfect & delightful. The lovely woman at the front was friendly & welcoming. Over all it was a very inviting, cute & calm atmosphere & I really enjoyed every aspect of it. Love it so much it's my new daily cappuccino & pastry stop, a nice little slice of France here in Austin.

It is off of shoal creek in a strip mall in the back not visible from the Main Street. The shop is co-located with a yoga practice and this atomically generated the social vibe that is hard to find. They are serious about coffee here. They roast their own coffee beans here. There are several world-famous baristas (ask them about the world competitions they are part of) serving up the brew who are super knowledgeable about coffee and coffee late art. I was a little confused when I drove up because I didn't realize that it's inside the Retreat Yoga Studio. There is a neon sign on the window as well as an A-Frame Sign near the entrance to let you know you're in the right place. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center. Because it's in a Yoga Studio, there isn't much seating (though they did have tables set up outside). The vibe was relaxing and calm. I don't know what scent they had in there, but it smelled nice. This wouldn't be a place to study or work as the seating is limited and I didn't see many outlets. There was a small area with bar stools if you need a tabletop, but most of the seating was couches and lounge chairs. It's more of a place to relax or catch up with a friend. I love when coffee shops have signature drinks. I ordered the Cajeta Crème Brûlée Cappuccino. It was so good, but it came in a small cup. The smoky sea salt was delicious! I don't typically care for sea salt in beverages, but it complimented the flavors so well! I asked the barista to sub oat milk which they were able to do but he informed me that some of the ingredients had dairy (which was fine). I appreciated the disclosure. I was able to drink it without any issues. Because my drink was so small, I decided to order a second one. I went with the Ginger Snap Latte (with oat milk) and it was tasty! I didn't like it as much as the Cajeta Crème Brûlée, but it was really good. I was happy that it was served in a larger cup. The space had plants as well as merch like clothing, scented candles, soaps, and jewelry (which was beautiful). The bathrooms were very clean and had feminine hygiene products as well as a basket with bobby pins and hair ties. I love the attention to detail! We were there close to closing time (3 pm). I appreciated that one of the employees let us know that they would be closing without forcing us to get up and leave. It was on par with the gentle and calming vibe of the space.

I wonder if parents will stop by on their way to school and grab their teacher a coffee?!? That's always a nice surprise. Hint hint! ;) *for this location or ANY location. You will start your teacher's day off right if you surprise them with some caffeine! This location is where Uno used to be. IYKYK. They transformed this place into a lovely spot: to grab a brew, do homework, or even bring the kiddos. I saw a mom early this morning with three of them in tow- all in their jammies! :) I love that they have a board for orders. They tell you that it's been: received, in progress, or done. I think they hit the done button too quickly as it said mine was done but then it was another five or so minutes until it was actually done. They were slammed with orders so perhaps it was just a busy time. I will definitely be back when I'm in the neighborhood. I doubt that I'll be back on a work day as the traffic is already horrendous with all of the construction. You would have to give yourself plenty of wiggle room for time and getting to your destination. Ordering ahead would be the way to go. The outside space leaves a little to be desired. It seemed pretty barren and things needed to be wiped down. The baristas were friendly and they were taking good care of keeping their work spaces tidy.

The area it is in is gorgeous and was not expecting to feel like I was in a different world. Appetizers that were supplied for the wedding were great, but I thought the main meal was kind of lacking and kind of inconsistent. I understand it's hard to cater for that many guests though. Most staff were pleasant and welcoming but had a couple of experiences where we felt very rushed and herded around the property. Despite my concerns this is definitely a special place to get married and a gem on this side of Austin! Lalala, Bob B.

We arrived at 7:32. When our party of four arrived, we were told there was no table for us. Even though there were two tables available in the dining room. We were told that those tables were reserved for someone else and we could not sit at that table. We were told that it was another reservation for 730. We were not offered any accommodation, even though there were four barstools at the bar open, except to sit outside on the patio in the 90° heat. We refused and decided to find a different place to eat. It was very shocking that they treated us in this manner as I have been a guest at the Wayback multiple times and never had this experience. It was almost like it was a prank. We went back to the car to find another restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday. While we are making arrangements for that, I realized that I had paid $25 for this reservation that they were not honoring and I wanted to make sure I requested that be returned. I went back into the dining room at 7:50 and the table for four that they refused to sit us at was still available. Amy, the young lady who said she was "like a manager", treated us as though we had done something wrong. When I went back in and requested my $25 back from her she made some comment regarding my refund tied to whether we gave them a bad review for the incident (one of my friends as we walked out of the dining room, said she would be leaving a review). I called the main number the following day and spoke with Vicky. Vicky told me she wanted to look into the situation and figure out what had happened. I told her the intention of my call was to get my the deposit refunded. She called me back a few hours later explaining it was their fault. She said that there was another person in the restaurant that had my same name and they wanted to move from the patio to the dining room and the staff gave away our reservation to that party. Understandable. She was apologetic and told me she would take care of the refund and also offered to send me $50 gift card through Toast. I'm not even really sure how that works or what that is, but I really just wanted to close out the whole deal. No refund or Gift Card ever showed up. I know sometimes that can take a little bit of time so I waited until the 25th and called back. No one answered. I left a message and did not get a returned call. I called again at about 11 AM on the 26th again no answer. I did not leave another message. I called again around 4pm. Amy, the young lady we dealt with on the evening of the event, answered the phone. She said the people in the office had already left for the day and she would take my phone number and name and somebody would call me on Monday. She called me back about 30 minutes later telling me she needed the card number that the reservation was made under. I didn't really feel comfortable giving that to her so I just said I would wait to hear from the office staff on Monday. Well no one called on Monday. No one called on Tuesday either. I called in on Wednesday and spoke with Vicky again. She said she had gone out of town and doesn't know why the refund was not taken care of. She said she was needed some time to look into it. I asked her to call me back when she had some resolution. I did not hear back from Vicky but today I got an email from toast that a $25 refund to my credit card had been run.... and I never provided my card number to have that refund issued. I do not take any pleasure in writing a bad review for a business. I waited to write this review until there had been full resolution so I gave them plenty of opportunities to communicate clearly and make this situation right. It kept getting fumbled which leaves me with the impression that they don't care about customer service.
