Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here. We spent over $100 between a cake and other pastries. The pastries were decent as you can choose your own as you walk through the store, but the cakes leave little to be desired. We called ahead to order the classic Chocolate Cake for a birthday. When we went a couple days later to pick it up, they gave it to us already inside a cardboard cake box that was completely sealed. We trusted them and did not open the box to inspect the cake until it was time to serve it at home for a birthday party later that day. When we opened the box, we saw that the fruit on the top were spoiling, weeping, wilted, and there was moldly fuzz starting to form on the strawberries. The "Happy Birthday" chocolate piece on top was placed sideways and cracked the top of the chocolate coating of the cake. We had to try to fix everything before the birthday photos. The cake tasted good, but we had to take all the spoiling toppings off. Not the quality that you'd expect for paying that much for a smallish cake. We'll probably stick with the other Korean bakery (with locations in Vernon Hills and Glenview) in the future. Mochi donut is good, but greasy. read more

Bought a cake for a birthday party and it was not like the one on display even though the person working there assured us it would be exactly the same. They brought it out already packaged when I paid for it so I didn't know what the cake actually looked like until I got home. One side of the cake has a smudge. There were other defects like the moose on top seemed flimsy compared to the one on display. The hole in the center of the cake also looks like it was semi-scooped out. The one on display had the center removed completely all the way to the bottom in an even and symmetrical way. The leaf garnish on top of the cake is also missing. The cake is also uneven and a little slanted. The whole cake just looks like it was not made well. I've included pictures of the cake I bought and the ones on display for comparison. I went back and asked to exchange it for another one. But the employee there said because I took it out of the store already they wouldn't exchange it. For a cake this expensive you expect it to look like the one they advertise especially when people working there assures you that it is. It's for someone's birthday so you also want a nice looking cake. I feel like it was a bait and switch with this place. With so many similar pastry places in the area I'd recommend going else where. At the least ask them to take out the cake so you can examine it before purchasing. Wish I'd done that. These people are unhelpful if there's a problem with your purchase. Their policy seems to be once you pay and exit the store it's no longer their problem. read more

This place is a dream come true on a snowy weekend. Delicious coffee, pastries and we noticed gorgeous cakes - unique cakes we can get for our office parties. So delicious ! Only flaw would be the price so we can't go too often but that's ok! It's worth it. read more

The bread is fine-- no complaints there. I'd say it's all consistent from location to location. The issue I have with this place is the service and the drinks. I've worked in food service for several years and it was frustrating to see how slow and confused some of these employees looked. I ordered two drinks in addition to the bread I got, and the drinks came out after I finished all my bread. Not only that but the matcha latte I got was straight sugar, milk, barely any matcha powder. The drink was extremely sweet-- not drinkable. read more

I was just in the store at 8:28PM a full 32 minutes before it closes for the night. Most everything was already put away and when I asked for a cup of decaffeinated coffee to go with the one thing that was left I was told that they already put it away. I said you don't close for a half an hour but the young woman just stared at me waiting for me to pay for the cheese soft cake. Terrible way to treat a long time customer. read more

As you enter, a hand sanitizer dispenser is readily available before you head out to the baked goods section. You pick up a tray and use tongs to choose whatever bread, tarts, and other baked goods you want. This way no bare hands touch them. I was really excited to visit when they first opened up back in November and have been going regularly to get pastries, cakes and roll cakes for special occasions. My favorites are ham and cheese croissants and red bean cream pastry(I cant remember the exact name so I posted a picture). I come here pretty often for the bakery and coffee. Their product is great. But my issue was when I asked for their wifi password. They told me that they don't have wifi in which my phone is still connected to their wifi because they provided me with password previously. And I asked if they can lower the volume just little bit because the music was so loud that it was bleeding into my headphones. They told me that they have pre set volume and unable to change. I thought it was ridiculous so I requested the manager and they lowered the volume right away and manager didn't even face me to apologize for lying straight up. It was a cute bakery with a spacious seating area and delicious baked goods. My visit was during a Saturday afternoon, and my guest and I had a great time catching up over a cup of coffee. Yet, I'd recommend the staff to empty the trash cans so that they don't remain full and customers don't see the trashes overflowing. The owner seems to hire very young staff to manage the order and payment perhaps to lower the hiring cost. They do what they are supposed to do, but these staff members are too young to even know what a proper customer service is or to have experienced a good customer service in their life. I'd also add more tables in style especially for two people. There is no separate area where customers receive their drinks after ordering and making the payment, so make sure there is a designated area for customers to receive their drinks. For a store of that spacious, an area where customers can comfortably wait and receive their drinks is clearly lacking in designs. Also, if you want the business to bloom and attract customers of all backgrounds, please hire employees of various cultural and racial backgrounds in this era of DEI. I'd really hate to see this place being run by people who are so young and all seem to have the same ethnic background. read more

Dine in is open but safe distance from bakery selection. Coffee is good, especially the sweetened condensed milk latte. Lots of sweet and savory options to choose from. Paris Baguette is a famous Korean café/bakery that has opened up in the Chicagoland area. There are couple of other locations being opened up but the Glenview location at the moment seems to be the main. The building is simple and clean and nicely decorated on the inside. They offer a wide selection of different eateries and coffee. The workers greet you with a warm welcome when you come in and are very helpful with great service. First, it was great to finally see the bakery open in several locations in Chicago. I had a great experience seeing the owners say greetings customers and proving insights on the selections. Even though the employees were new they provided good service. One thing I will say is there are more fillings of the cream than other bakeries and tasted great. One of the gentleman there was super rude. When I asked if they had more strawberry croissants he told me if I wanted one I should have come earlier when they opened to get one. It was only my second time here so I wasn't familiar with the fact that when things sell out they are gone for the day until the next day. A simple "no" would have been enough. I didn't need the attitude. Both times there the pastries and the peach green tea refresher were delicious but we couldn't find a table that wasn't sticky or have something spilled on it, so we had to clean a table for ourselves. There was garbage on the floor and spilled coffee and none of the employees seemed to notice and nothing was done about it for the whole time we were sitting there both times. When the sitting area is so dirty it makes you fear what it is like in the back where the pastries are prepared that we can't see. I will give them another chance because the pastries really are delicious and maybe these two times I was there the dirtiness wasn't their usual, but if I go again and it's still super dirty I'll have to find a different place. read more

I was very excited to visit this store when it first opened. The pastries, sandwiches, and cakes looked visually so appealing and delicious! However, most of the pastries I grabbed weren't as good as they seemed. The curry croquette lacked sufficient filling and fell flat flavor wise. The hot dog pastry also wasn't as good as it looked either. That being said, there were notable pastries such as the croissant with strawberries and cream and the fruit pastry. I wish the team at Paris Baguette would work on enhancing the taste of their products. I was a bit disappointed as I spent a lot of money on a handful of items. I didn't feel it was worth the amount I paid. Another area of improvement is customer service. The first time I had purchased from this location, we had a friendly cashier, but their coworker who bagged our items was extremely unfriendly and quite honestly, a bit cold. When bagging the items, they carelessly put our items into the bag in a rushed and bit aggressive manner. I was definitely put off by this behavior, but didn't say anything the first time. However, I visited again today and was met with poor customer service yet again. Upon cancelling one of the items I had ordered, the cashier and the coworker helping them eyed one another. I did apologize for the inconvenience but the apology didn't seem to change their behavior towards me as the customer. I didn't have a friendly or welcome experience with customer service. These two interactions have spoken to the kind of service this location has to offer and was extremely disappointing. Paris is a long anticipated bakery in the northshore area, and they did not disappoint. Everything from their baked goods to their cakes were on point! Highly recommend for simple breakfast items to sophisticated events, bdays, anniversaries, etc. Paris is the gold standard for bakeries! read more
