My wife and I stopped by this Paris Baguette because we were already in the plaza picking up from another place. My wife loves Paris Baguette Chai Latte but this time she went with their Mango Lemonade refresher and I got the Chai latte for my cousin wife. We also got a cake so we went with the Strawberry Soft Creme cake. They give us candles (up to 10) and a cutting knife. It didn't take them long to make the drinks and when my wife tried the Mango Lemonade, she loved it. My cousin wife also enjoyed the Chai Latte too. This store is in a big plaza so finding parking is easy. The staff are also friendly and will answer any questions you'll have. The inside of the place is not that big but they also have outdoor seating as well. read more

I've always liked Paris Baguette bakeries and their coffee/tea and used to get it often at Zion Market. I've now been to the location in Barranca a couple of times and I do love it as it's a nice cafe with lots of seating (even during a weekend late morning). There are lots of parking spots so no need to worry about coming here. The only downside I haven't been able to get a high review is because the people who work there don't really quite care about customers as I would be waiting in line to order but the cashier is just handling it with food/drinks and not even telling me to wait before they can take my order. They didn't apologize about the wait or anything... I still like to visit here since it's probably one of the only cafes in Irvine that is never so crowded and has good food and drinks. Stopped by the other day and got three pastries- two feuilete chocolat and an almond croissant (which turned out to be a chocolate croissant with almonds on top). Paris Baguette was my go to baked goods spot; unfortunately I will not be back. Quality has gone south. All three pastries I bought were not worth $5-$6. They were extremely dry, overdone, didn't taste buttery. Didn't taste fresh. I don't think I will be back any time soon read more

Found this place through a yelp elite experience and I'm so glad I did! I saw they had a matcha strawberry cake and was so excited to get it when I needed a cake. Ready to go Green tea/ matcha cakes are almost impossible to find!! Yesterday I decided there is no need for an event to get a cake so I got it and so glad I did. There are strawberries throughout the cake and the cake is perfectly moist. The frosting is whip cream like so not very sweet (that would be my one complaint because I love sweet/ don't like whip cream). They also give you free candles with a cake :) feeds up to 6 people I would say and it was $40ish. Parking is also very easy. read more

Got here early because the other locations don't open until 7am and asked her a couple questions that she was not friendly or eager to answer. I spent $60! She forgot to ring me up for my second coffee (which basically costs them nothing) and I couldn't have two separate charges so I asked if I could have a free coffee for the major inconvenience of the breakfast sandwich being ice cold last time I was in. I love Paris Baguette. We order pasties from here for work events from time to time. I always get super excited when we do. The hot dog buns are my fave!! I'm always drooling as i'm walking in with all the pastries on display. If you're in a rush, be sure to order online and do a pick up. They're usually pretty busy. Their cakes are super good too! My husband and I used to come here often prior to the start of the pandemic. It was great to sit with treats and coffee after running errands in the nearby shops. Things have changed since then, though, and not necessarily for the better. The service is a bit lackluster. Common questions such as "Do you have this particular drink prepared?" shouldn't make the counter person wonder "Do we?" You should know what's on hand. Still, the drink in question had decent taste and was properly prepared, so three stars there. 16 ounce size was priced appropriately, too, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the pastries we chose have a distinct sameness of flavor across the dough. I realize these items aren't Cordon Bleu quality but you should remember something remarkable about each one, not what is lacking. Also unfortunate is the value of certain items as compared with price paid. Seven dollars thirty cents for a Berry Tart is asking a lot, frankly. Yes, it's pretty for an Instagram photobrag. Yes, the ingredients are fresh and flavorful, no mold. The sweetness level borders on saccharine, though, and the assembled parts make the whole seem larger than it really is. That's disappointing. Paris Baguette is hands down my favorite bakery. I usually go to whichever location is closer to where I am. The decor inside is nice and modern. They have a wide selection of crossaints,pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. My favorite thing to get is the almond crossaint. It's extremely flaky and delicious with just the perfect amount of sweetness. Their milk coffee is also very good. I also enjoy their almond pastry. It's extremely delicious and a tad bit sweeter than the almond crossaint. If you are looking for a bakery with a good selection of crossaints,pastries, and other baked goods, Paris Baguette is the perfect place for you. The only con is that the employees are not very friendly. The coffee twist and pecan pastry is also very good, as is their turkey mozzarella panini. read more

Having just returned from a few months in France & Italy, this establishment needs to rename this place bc Paris it is not. I've come a few times and everytime its a joke their interpretation of European pastries. I doubt any chef even went abroad. Example: I ordered a cheesecake. The pain au chocolat didn't have enough chocolate. There was hardly any in it. The almond croissant wasn't flaky and slightly burnt, there was also zero almond paste. The chocolate croissant was yum and super flaky. I really enjoyed the taste of the pastries but they aren't exactly what you'd expect if you've had these French pastries before. 3.5 stars The pain au chocolat was flaky, but there was almost no chocolate inside. I wish they put less sticky sweet topping and more actual chocolate in the pastry. The almond pastry had a lot of layers and the filling had good flavor, but it felt harder and not as delicate and flaky as I'm used to it being. But at $3.50, I don't really think it was worth it. The strawberry cream brioche was pretty good with the custard and cream, but the brioche was a little dry and just didn't taste that fresh. The sausage bread was also too oily, it leaves a bad feeling after eating it. I think they changed their house coffee as well, it used to be cheap, sweet, and strong but now it tastes more bitter and the flavor is just overall not as good. I placed an online order on 2/19 with a pickup date for 2/21 @ 8:30am. There was a line of people when I arrived with one* cash register open. After waiting 10min in line, I was expecting my order to be ready since I provided a pickup time, however, it was not boxed. I had to wait an additional 10min for someone to gather each item, making me late to the client meeting I was taking the treats to.
