FINALLY! I have frequented Paris Baguette in NY and Chicago for years! I didn't even realize we would get one until I saw pictures posted of it. I highly recommend the strawberry soft cream cake, coconut mango cake, small fruit bites, pain au chocolate, and the almond croissants [or any croissant]. The only item I wouldn't recommend is the curry croquette. Staff was attentive, fast, and extremely helpful. Yay! read more

Take me to Paris....the oh so coveted Korean bakery finally landed in Houston and I was like a little kid in a candy store. PB is like the McDonalds of bakeries in Korea. One on every corner and neighborhood. But you have to consider time and distance. In Korea, accessing the bakery is more often than not, walking distance for them, whereas for us it's anywhere between a ten minute drive to an hour drive or more!! Thus the freshness and quality are compromised in such cases because we have to drive a distance just to get to the bakery. Also, let's be real here, we live amongst a diverse community that have some really low standards for food. What I took a bite into would not survive in Korea! We would raise havoc. However, knowing the circumstances it was still fun to experience the store and buy some of my favorites! So grab your air fryers if you're buying these yummy baked goods at 6pm on a Friday evening! Paris baguette is one of my favorite places to go for pastries! Lowkey on the pricier side, but it's worth it. If you go later in the evening, the selection will probably be limited. Also, since it is located in Katy Asian town right next to hmart, parking can be hectic when it gets busy during the weekends especially. The location is pretty small, so there isn't much seating either. Every time I go there, the employees are always so friendly. One of my favorite items to get here is their cronut, which comes with different fillings like yuzu, coffee, Nutella. A new item I tried recently was the croissant crisp with raspberry filling... definitely in my top 5. The crisps reminded me of a palmier, but thinner and crunchier. Paris Baguette is Katy Asia Town's latest craze and rightfully so! It has amazing fresh baked goods and cakes that are superior in taste and quality to any other asian bakery I've been to. Of all the items I got here are my top 3 1. Mochi donuts - these are a MUST, they're perfectly chewy and light. I waited for a fresh batch to come out and I'm so glad I did. I heard they usually sell out of these (they had already sold out of all other flavors except the sugar one) and it's easy to see why. 2. Garlic pastry frank - this is for all the savory lovers out there! Think elevated pigs in a blanket with a sprinkle of garlic on top. While it's nothing extravagent, sometimes it's the simple things that bring the most joy. 3. Strawberry soft cream cake - a beautifully decorated cake that is light and not too sweet. Sometimes it's hard to taste the difference between asian cakes because they all taste the same but where these cakes stand out is in the icing. This is probably a personal preference but I usually hate the icing on asian cakes because it actually tastes like nothing - how boring. The icing on this cake has a creamy and slightly sweet tint to it and I love it. The service here is fantastic - when we went it was packed and instead of it being a crowded mess there was an employee directing traffic. I would advise going during the front end of their business hours as they do sell out! read more

I think the store is a bit crowded. There were a lot of variety of sweet baked goods, which is a feast for the eyes and can make it hard to choose. It can all add up at the end if you choose too much. We got the sugar mochi donut, matcha mochi donut, coffee croissant donut, cinnamon apple pie, and sweet rice donuts. All the donuts were ok, but not something I must have again. I didn't taste the cinnamon apple pie. read more

I absolutely love this place. It's pretty much heaven for a sweet tooth like me. This is probably one of the best Asian bakeries that I've been to around here. I stopped by recently, and as soon as I stepped in, I was in awe. The bakery was super bright, clean, and the selection of pastries were especially amazing. I have not seen an Asian bakery around here with this many options all at once. Everything looked so good that it was extremely hard for me to resist not buying too much. I ended up getting only 4 things because I always have too much pastries at home, but I will definitely be back for more. Everything I got was extremely tasty. I'm having a celebration tonight and thought it'd be nice to have a fancy cake. Upon entering we found a fun layered rainbow cake and thought it was absolutely perfect. It was sold by the slice so we just bought everything they had (7 perfectly packaged slices) and happily trotted out the door. In his excitement my husband was a bit "free" with the container and spilled the slices on the street a mere 20 steps (I counted) from the door of the bakery. Defeated and a bit bummed we went back inside, gave them the squished and ruined cake slices and asked to purchase a new cake. The staff there were PHENOMENAL. They replaced the cake then and there. They had a good selection of items, but the inside is small so it was get very cramped very quickly. I got a variety of items: Garlic hot dog (wrapped in a croissant), matcha mochi donut, choux bun, hot dog (wrapped in bread), crab croquette and a fruit bite. All of the items were good, but my least fave was the crab croquette. The imitation crab just didn't have the best flavor and it was pretty overpowering. Cute bakery right next to H-mart in Katy Asia town. They have a variety of baked goods from croissants to breads stuffed with cream. Tried the taro croissant, crème brûlée donut, sesame mochi ball, and a pumpkin cream bread. All were great with my favorite being the sesame mochi ball. King cream donut- this was good, I enjoyed it. It's like a Bavarian cream donut- this was my favorite item from our visit. Jumbo twisted donut- this was another tasty one that I liked. Sugary goodness. Pro tip, eat it soon after purchase because it will go stale quickly and become a little chewy. Still good though even when a little stale. Tiramisu slice- it was ok, had a stronger cream cheese type flavor that isn't typical of tiramisu. Probably wouldn't get it again. But if you like cream cheese then you'd probably like this one! Rainbow cake slice- the kids loved this because it was so beautiful and each colored layer actually has a different fruity flavor. From an adult perspective though, I thought the fruity flavors were pretty artificial tasting. Berry tart- delicious perfection. My wife didn't want to share this one! Coffee bun- this was pretty "meh", basically just tasted like a regular bun with a hint of coffee in it. Wouldn't get it again. read more

I went to visit family in Houston and they took us to this lovely bakery. They had the most wonderful selection of pastries and I couldn't help but choose several of the options. My mouth is still watering while writing this review. I loved the crème brule doughnut the most! Each pastry has a notecard identifying its name and nutritional info for us health nuts. It's so unfortunate. This place deserves a bigger space because it's a great concept and bakery. While it can get cramped (try your best to visit early or during off-hours), the pastries, baked goods, drinks, and other assorted items are made so well. I especially loved the coffee croissant donut. The employees are also usually on top of refilling the shelves and displays, and they package your items very nicely! They had a good selection when we came with a few items missing. It's pretty small in here though so could get crowded quickly if there's a lot of people. When we went there wasn't too many people. During my trip to Hmart today, I noticed that Paris Baguette had finally opened, so I knew I had to go check it out. The size of the shop is very comparable to the other two bakeries in Katy Asia Town, and prices for almost all of their items start at $3, which is around the same ballpark as others as well. For my visit, I got their fruit Pastry, coffee croissant donut, crab croquette, and mango and cream brioche. Crab Croquette 4/5: The croquettes don't sit under a heat lamp or in a warmer, so if you're taking it home, I would recommend toasting it to warm it up. The croquette was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with an even distribution of filling throughout. The filling was well seasoned, and the portion size was perfect for a snack! Fruit Pastry 5/5: Fresh fruit and pastry cream on top of a puff pastry never disappoints! The fruit pastry was nice and crispy, and the pastry cream was just the right amount of sweetness. Coffee Croissant Donut 5/5: Lots of flaky layers, with a delicious coffee glaze on top! I would take these over regular donuts any day! Mango and Cream Brioche 3/5: Light and fluffy with a cream filling, and mango pieces on top. This was my least favorite of the four items I purchased because outside of the mango topping, there wasn't any other mango flavors. I thought that there would be mango also mixed in with the cream, but alas that was not the case.
