Came here at 8pm and there were very limited pastries available even though they're open til 10pm. Only the middle display had pastries in it and everything along the back wall was totally empty. I was looking for pain au chocolate and when I asked if there were any more coming out, they said no and that whatever was out on display was the only stuff left. We settled for a ham & cheese and a couple slices of cake. Was super disappointed that the slices are so small compared to before and still the same price. Behold the cronut! An otherworldly cross between a croissant and a donut, your tastebuds need it badly. Come on, at least once! These were all the rage a while back but most of the buzz was about east coast eateries. On the recommendation of a friend, I stopped at Paris Baguette today. It's a fairly new location of a chain restaurant on Central Ave and Medlock. I purchased the lemon cronut, a coffee cronut and a plain croissant for tomorrow's breakfast. The lemon Cronut was simply amazing. Really. This location is part restaurant and part self-serve bakery. There is a wide selection of sweet and savory pastries and meal items on offer. This location is right next door to another midtown gem, Jinya ramen and sushi. One note of caution: please be respectful of the residential neighbors behind these restaurants. All kinds of trendy places have moved in there and the neighbors say they get speeders, cut through traffic or people parking on their lawns all the time. You Yelpers are an awesome bunch. Finally it's open! I feel like this took forever to open but it's here! So happy to have one in central phoenix! I came at 6pm they close at 9. So the selection was not very big . I will be back again to try more options. I went because I was trying a chocolat croissant. The croissant had very little chocolate in it. Like tiny amount! But it was still good. I'm ecstatic to find out that this location finally opened, and I no longer have to keep driving to Scottsdale or Mesa. I've always enjoyed the assortment of fresh pastries they offer. The place was clean and I love that they have detailed signage about each pastry and costs. You can't go wrong with any of the cake cause they're delicious and not overly sweet. The staff were nice and organized. The place wasn't overly crowded when I went to visit but that around between 9:30-10am however it may differ on time of day. Will definitely be back! read more

Very excited to have this in the neighborhood. Cafe like feel. Enough seating to hang out and grab some pastry and/or coffee. The pastry selection was super legit. We tried the chocolate ganache cake and the strawberry short cake. The family voted for the strawberry cake. Surprising since we are all chocoholics! Well, we ordered 3 of the croissant filled with strawberry and cream. I ate two back to back. Delicious. Complaint? Yes. Too small! My husband chose a chocolate crème filled croissant that was amazing and we brought home two slices of tiramisu cake. I'd pass on the cake, couldn't taste coffee at all. read more

Pretty good new bakery here in Phoenix. Crazy large and impressive selection of all different pastries and desserts. Everything is in glass cases so you can easily look and decide what you want. It is self serve and you pay when finished choosing. While I like the concept, it was just middle of the road for me on taste and quality. You could tell that everything is made in large batches and it lacks the nostalgia of going to a small mom and pop bakery where everything is done by hand with quality in mind. It's not easy to run a bakery serving the variety of pastries and foods that they offer. For staff members to consistently execute day in and day out is a lot of work. So I feel the price of all the pastries here is well worth it. The space is clean and well maintained, the staff are very friendly, and the pastries are excellent. My girlfriend and I have tried at least 10 different items across 5 visits. We both agree the croissant donuts top everything so far, especially the coffee one. Very colorful and fun looking pastries. They do have a ton of variety to choose from. This location also offered market sandwiches like turkey melts and so on and coffees or teas. They have a seating area inside and a small outside patio. It was very cute and the employees were friendly. We enjoyed some of the pastries except the danishes. I feel like a kid in Disneyland walking into Paris baguette. The pastries are amazing. Everything looks fresh and like it was baked recently. I wanted one of each but I settled for the lemon croissant with strawberry, the egg tart and the pastel de nata. The croissant was so delicious and creamy. My second favorite was the pastel de nata, the crust was flaky and buttery and the filling was just the right amount of sweet. The egg tart was okay. You can also get savory dishes and beverages like coffee and tea. They also sell whole cakes which seem perfect for a special occasion. They have an ample seating area. Service was fast. Amazing! This is a place where I'll be back time and again so I can try each pastry! The pastries and desserts are designed like cafeteria style. First time I tried Paris Baguette I was at Times Square in NY and was really hungry. I was very impressed with their sandwiches and salads at the time. Fast forward to now and I think almost every celebration they have become my family's fav for cakes. So this is for the central and camelback location which has been consistently outstanding whether it's customer service, their coffee or their pastries. Out the door , about $27 before tip. 4 pastries 2 drinks w/app special for the latte. My hub weighed in on the following: Plain croissant : Very good, would order again. Had the flakiness without being dry. Could have been a bit more buttery. Blueberry/cheese: meh....More like a danish. It wasn't bad, but he wished he had not gone for such a typical pastry, when there were so many offerings. Nothing special. Black coffee...meh...would probably not order again. We like sugar in the raw, which they did not have, so there's that, but he also frequently drinks it black, and he felt this coffee could not stand alone. Me: Disclaimer...I can murder pastries & donuts! Sweet potato: This was the crispy, slightly sweet taste I would want in a more subtle treat. The sesame seeds added an interesting touch. King Donut: Whoa!!!! Light cream, nice donut texture. Being pretty discriminating with donuts, I really liked it & will try another variety next time. Latte: I usually do not order these due to a preference for a more coffee forward taste. This one was really good! Atmosphere: crowded ont he weekend, but we were able to find a nice table outside. I have been waiting for them to open and am so happy that they open at 6:30am so I can stop on my way into work, which I did on Monday morning. I frequent the one in Scottsdale and have enjoyed most everything I've tried. It's going to be great to stop in to grab something for breakfast and then a sandwich to have later for lunch. Every employee there on Monday morning was friendly and welcoming. I have been fortunate to visit 4 (3 in Arizona, 1 in Colorado) and this is my absolute least favorite. Sadly, it was quite the disappointment compared to the other locations. While the workers are pleasant, they seem very confused and my experience was nothing but chaotic. The Supreme croissants tasted nothing like the Chandler location....it was like biting into pure sugar. My friend who loves sweets, could not even eat the pistachio croissant....blah! If you see my other reviews, the pastries seem to be thrown together, sloppy and didn't taste the same. It saddens me to give such a poor review of Paris Baquette, but this is an honest review of this location. I will stick to Chandler or Scottsdale. read more

This place like New Year's Eve is just a photo op. Only to get instagram likes, and content on TikTok. Apple pie, not as good as Mcdonalds. The croissants were mid at best. Ham Pastry barely had any ham, and everything else was cool but nothing compared to my local Panadería. Employees not very welcoming and seemed a bit unorganized. 3/5 stars and thats me being very generous.
