I like the location of this bakery. Convenient for me with sufficient parking. Clean and bright also. I came in this morning to get myself a cup of hot tea because I wasn't feeling well. I thought about going to a Chinese bakery but decided against it because Korean bakeries usually are much better although pricier. So I walked up to the counter and asked if they have any lemon honey tea. And he gave me the menu and showed me the tea selection they had. I pointed out an orange flavored one and specifically asked them to put some honey and/or lemon in it. He rang me up and went to make my drink. I took my order and left. When I got to my office I realized not only was there no honey or lemon in my tea it wasn't even the tea I ordered. I got earl gray. Easily my favorite chain bakery. But this particular one rates pretty low in terms of Paris Baguette locations. Most of the locations stock the same bread, so it comes down to service, which is particularly poor with workers bickering behind the counter at each other. I came to buy bread, not to hear you publicly humiliate your co-worker for making a drink incorrectly. Management needs to step up their game. It's an embarrassment. Why do I care? It's just basic decency to respect your fellow co-worker. I don't know about you but I'd prefer my money go to a place that promotes a more friendly work environment for college students. read more

Have been coming here for about 3 years now. Couldn't get enough of this place when it opened up. The pastries are yummy and endless. I always get something with the red bean. My fave! First off I'm Korean so I know what I'm talking about. Believe the hype of Paris Baguette - it's the bomb I grew up eating Dunkin Donuts and then Krispy Kreme in the city. They were great, but the feeling afterwards...not so good Now comes some Koreans making bread. I was never into Koryodong, which has been around forever. Always thought bread was a bit on the stale side Paris Baguette is putting us on the map with their bread. I don't experiment a whole lot, but the Almond one is the best. Not too sweet, fluffy and crusty together. It's $2/each - people may complain that's expensive, but you can't expect something like that to cost 40 cents - ridiculous Coffee decent, but then again, this is for the bread. You want good coffee? Bring a bottle of international creamer with you (that'll make any coffee taste good) Workers are all young Korean kids in high school or dropouts (not sure how they work some of the hours they do). But they're all polite and take care of the place well. Not to take away from this particular location, but last time I went it smelled like horse poop from a stall, but I think a customer might have stepped in something and was dragging it around shop. Just when I thought I was going to stop eating bread products, I popped in here and there went that idea. I bought a really tasty huge tuna sandwich (with lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers!) and a really good sweetened ice coffee. Also, I went a little crazy and bought a mocha bread, a mini honey loaf, an egg custard, a few rice donuts, a pumpkin cheese bread, and a sweet potato roll. $21 later I was broke, but very satisfied. This place has a lot of room to sit and relax. Two slices of beef: parking in the neighborhood is a challenge and also this place has loud customers, but really nice music. What this place needs - soups, especially creamy soups - this would up this to 6 stars. Hands down, awesome, and now addicted, as I finish the last few bites of my sandwich..nom nom. read more

Food: We bought a Sweet Potato cake from Paris Baguette for a birthday and well I have to say that I was not impressed with the taste and flavor of it at all. The birthday boy and two other tasters were in agreement with me and the birthday boy LOVES his sweet potato. The cake had this awful after taste as well. Never again. However, on a positive note the cake was well presented and they provided candles free of charge without me having to ask. 5 for presentation, 1 for taste for this item. We also bought a slice of Blueberry Chiffon cake. It, like the Sweet Potato cake, is presented well. However, there is nothing special about its taste. We were also not impressed with this cake. However, this one was edible. 4 for presentation, 3 for taste for this item. Note: The stores on the West differ from the stores on the East on what they make and how they make it. The Blueberry Chiffon cake is much more nicely presented in the West. When I asked if they could make it this way, they said that they could not. I'm not sure if this was a policy of the individual store or the chain. There are a lot of items for sale at Paris Baguette. They do have a nice variety. The Mocha bun? was good. The turkey, avocado sandwich was alright. It had a generous amount of fresh avocado which I appreciated however it was not as exuberant in its taste. Price: If the cakes had tasted better maybe they would have been worth the $35 for the Sweet Potato cake and the $6 for the slice of Blueberry Chiffon cake...but they did not so they were not. 1 for price. Service: The service was nice but nothing amazing. They were busier on the weekend. If you want a cake made for your event you must go into the store to put in an order and pay at that time. I did not care for this policy as I had to travel twice (once to order and once to pick up). It would be better if they could do this over the phone. 3 for service. read more

The food and drinks here are very good however the service received was terrible. I waited at the register and was greeted by "you on line?" Then I asked to have my bread put in a box instead of a plastic bag and was given an attitude by the same cashier. I also ordered two cappuccinos and one of them was full and the other was half filled even though they were the same size. I told the person who was making the drink about this and she asked if I wanted more milk in my drink... I didn't want more milk I just wanted a drink that wasn't half filled. This is not one of my favorite locations for Paris Baguette. The place looks clean and neat and the service is friendly. The baked good are not bad, but pricey. They have a wide range of items to choose from and also many many cakes. The cakes are beautiful and come with candles (I know a lot of bakeries no longer provide candles). So I originally wrote that they do not have a parking lot, but they actually do. Didn't know it was part of Paris. read more

Paris Baguette is a nice, clean place to get together for a cup of coffee, green tea, or one of their delicious pastries. The set up is great: cafeteria style. You can drool over the chocolate croissants or if your appetite is bigger I would go for the chicken salad sandwich. The pastries and sandwiches are always fresh. My other favorites include the chocolate bread, regular croissant, fruit pastry (mixed fruit or raspberry), or cheese danish. I have tried their cakes which look like they were made in heaven. The whipped cream is so light and fluffy you just have to try it! FYI...This location is great but the parking lot has limited spots. You might find yourself looking for street parking. I've been to other locations including the one in Flushing and in the city - they all have consistent quality. Let's just say that I have a friend who visits from Texas and PB is one of our go-to spots. She also takes a box of chocolate croissants back with her which usually are eaten within 24 hrs :) read more

This is my favorite korean bakery out of the tons of other bakeries just on Broad Ave. alone! Their pastries are consistently flaky and delicious. My favorites are the sweet potato braid and the rice cake donuts. With the variety that they have to offer, there's sure to be something for everyone! The cakes here are also wonderful. The spongy cake paired with the lighter-than-air cream makes you believe the cake you're eating is healthy. They are subtly sweet, and are especially popular with people who don't have a big sweet tooth. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because I feel that they can up their service. Every time I am in here, there are younger people working, who usually bring in their friends and proceed to have loud conversations while I'm trying to sit down and enjoy my cup of coffee (how cute are their cups btw?). read more

I've been hearing about how great this place is and there is one right by me. My boyfriend and I were driving on Northern Blvd running errands and I mentioned that I wanted to try it one day. So we pulled into the parking lot and went in. We got a bunch of stuff! So much to choose from! Its self serve for the most part. They have everything from sweet to savory. We got: -a chocolate crepe (yum!) -raspberry crossiant/danish (my favorite thing) -a sweet donut, a spicy roll -chocolate and creme cone looking thing (I cant remember the name) -Ice Coffee (yum!) Delicious bakery. This Paris baguette has a bathroom on the back of the seating area, which is different from the one in Koreatown. Same pastries, just a different setup and more seats available. I noticed they made something new, like a lemon brioche and an almond raspberry croissant so naturally I had to try those. The flavors were very interesting and delicious. This particular PB is very tidy, and always has delicious pastries in stock. I frequent this location due to the employees and management being very professional and doing a great job at satisfying the customers' needs. The manager must be doing a superb job at managing his team. I've never had any issues at this location and will continue to come here for coffee and delicious sandwiches/pastries. I always have daytime business meetings here because of how clean the venue is, and also because the staff + management is excellent at what they do. I've overheard a couple of ladies talking about how handsome the manager is here all the time, take this as a hint ladies. read more

This store will sooner ruin by their teenage workers of their service and working attitudes. You can always see them chatting every time you walk in this store. The tables, seats and floor are not cleaned and swept, you need to tell them more them three times to finally get them clean or I should say swept off the bakery crumbs with their dry rag to the floor, the sticky cream or coffee stain remained on the table. They don't bother to pick up the napkins, bakery wrappers lying on the floor, even they walked by, and not seeing them....bakery crumbs all over the floor and under the tables. The coffee counter was cleaned, but the half and half pot has yellowish stain. I was later told by my Korean friend that they were arguing on job duties, not because of their duties, but they have a lot of work to do....( chatting? ) read more

I bought the milk bread from them 2 days ago. It is molding and turning green. We didn't even have a slice of it. I took it back to the store and the cashier would not exchange it for me even though I try to help them by being discreet about this. I ask for a manger and he say there is none here. Gave me a lot of bs. What kind of service is this? This Paris Baguette is horrible. Bad management and customer service. Is bread suppose to be molded in 2 days!!! No and at least you can do is exchange it and say sorry. This is a bad review for a truly bad experience. read more

I'm a major paris baguette fan, I feel I've liked every cake I ate there. This location has a small and crowded parking lot so parking in the side street is a better alternative. The store is very clean and bright, there's a window where you see the bakers making all the baked goods. I like going during the off-hours to avoid the crowds (i.e approx 3pm is when school is out). This is almost near bell blvd, so it's in vicinity of the any buses that stop there. One thing I didn't like here was the cannele pastry. I actually had it at another location and it was crispy and crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The one I ate at this location was extremely hard, maybe because it was out for too long or overcooked? The coating of a cannele is sugar that is crisped up by the heat hitting the cannele mold, yielding a crispy caramel tasting shell. But something is wrong when I'm not even able to bite into it...I mean this pastry can cause some damage if you throw it. You can never go wrong with the royal pudding. There's mango and a regular flavor. When I buy empty choux pastry, I like to do a DIY creampuff. The sliced cakes are delicious too and the taste is consistent with the other locations. I noticed they display the boxed baumkuchen in the fridge next to the royal puddings, while the flushing queens crossing location has it at room temp among the pastries, not entirely sure if temperature has anything to do with the cake quality, but it's one aspect I just happened to notice. Noteably they offer "cronuts", definitely not comparable to dominique ansels but a cheaper alternative. They offer lemon and coffee flavor (between these two I'd opt for the lemon because I feel coffee is more heavy in taste). Overall I come here for the cakes, pudding, and certain pastries. read more

Really good pastries, sandwiches, beverages and cakes! All of the different kinds of breads and pastries are absolutely delicious; if you like sweet and buttery breads, this is the place for you! The store is kept pretty clean and the breads are very organized. The cakes are stored in a nicely lit refrigerator where you can see them clearly. You can buy either a whole cake or just a mini version of one! The beverages are pretty good, except they are a bit pricey and the taste lingers depending in who makes it. The sandwiches are just scrumptious, and they go half off after 8pm, so you know that they like to keep their food fresh. The macarons are not half bad, and they've recently produced many more different flavors. In the summer, the shaved ices that they sell is the perfect remedy to escape from the heat. I personally enjoy the green tea flavored shaved ice; the green tea ice cream and the grapes are the best parts. The only downside to the bakery are the workers; sometimes, they are a bit rude. Last time they messed up my order by charging me extra. So I went and complained and the cashier who had taken my order just rolled his eyes at me! This place isn't the best bakery but it definitely is different than most. Most items are things you can't find at other bakeries. I had a custard filled donut (forgot the exact name) and it was really good. The cakes in the case are beautiful and very unique. I will be back to try more things. Beautiful bakery with a great selection of cakes, pastries, breads and sweet treats. Very much in "flushing" aka Chinatown. I ordered the Green Tea Fresh Cream Cake slice. The sponge was moist but lacked a real depth in flavour. The strawberrys were also a little sore. Pricing was a little steep for $5.50. I had it to stay and no plate was provided. In saying that the cakes presentation was impeccable and despite its lack in flavour it still made for a beautiful photo :) I also ordered the house coffee (self serve/bottomless) for $1.50 which comes in decaf, regular and hazelnut. The hazelnut lacked sweetness (use sugar/sweetner) and the regular coffee tasted horrible. Avoid if possible and just stick to the hazelnut (at least it has a flavour other than car exhaust). lol Tips: Order a proper coffee (Latte/Mocha etc) if you are picky as the house coffee is not enjoyable and enjoy your drink and treat inside the beautifully designed dining area within the store. read more

I had a pretty large order so I tried to be understanding but the barista was rude! The cashier purely by accident charge me for an extra drink and I wasn't going to wait in the line to get a refund so when my drink order came up I tried to tell the barista that I had another drink that I was charged extra for and he tried to tell me that the cashier cancelled it. Clearly my receipt showed that I was charged for it so regardless of the cashier told you, she still charged me for it. I'm watching him make my ice coffee that I was charged $4.99 for and he basically put 90% milk and a splash of coffee and topped it with more milk. Do better! You shouldn't be upset at the customer when your coworker made a mistake. read more

The furniture is comfy and spacious; atmosphere is totally relaxing and good for a nice tea/snack break with friends. Now on to the food! My favorite is the cream cheese filled croissant!! This place is awful in terms of service. Twice now they have lost my order. The first time they had no record of it whatsoever and had to give me cakes from other people's orders after searching for mine for 30 minutes. Gave them a second chance. Bad idea. Today they told me that because my cakes were stacked on top of each other but the receipt was only attached to 1 of them, that someone simply took my 2nd cake and sold it to someone else. Will not be coming back and I suggest you don't either , if you ever need to order something and have it actually be a completed order. read more
