Okay, so this was one of those "we'll just grab a couple things" stops that somehow turned into "okay, we're taking half the bakery home." We picked up a little bit of everything , croissants and pastries, a baguette sandwich, baked treats and Korean iced coffee. Everything looked so good that making a decision was basically impossible. The pastries were fresh, flaky and just sweet enough, and the baguette sandwich was a great quick bite. The Korean iced coffee was also a perfect pairing with all those pastries. And I have to mention the cakes , they look absolutely gorgeous and they're seriously yummy. Perfect when you need something for a birthday, celebration, or honestly just an excuse to have cake. The Natomas location is bright, clean and has that nice bakery-café vibe. I also love that you can stop in for a quick coffee and pastry or actually sit down and enjoy it. The service was great too. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the whole visit even better. Sometimes good service is what turns a quick bakery stop into a place you want to keep coming back My only warning: come with a plan... or at least a bigger bag. Everything looks too good, and it's very easy to walk out with way more than you planned. Overall, a great addition to Natomas. Fresh pastries, yummy cakes, good coffee and plenty of choices. This bakery is one of my favorites in Natomas. I like that they are open both early and late 6am to 10pm. Their coffee is not my favorite but it's more than adequate. The Egg Salad sandwich is my favorite savory item. The variety of cake slices are my favorite sweet items. The workers are really friendly and always have a smile on their face. So when I heard Paris Baguette was opening in Natomas I was mildly intrigued-my experience with this company mostly stemmed from the Roseville location,which happened to be located next to a local breakfast spot that my daughter adores and we always walked into Paris Baguette after eating a huge breakfast-so every time I was in there I was stuffed to the gills and everything looked unappealing-so subconsciously I always found Paris Baguette unappealing just by circumstance. On this particular visit,my buddy and I went into Paris Baguette in Natomas 1st thing in our morning-before coffee,before breakfast-we went into there with hungry eyes and let me tell ya-I get it now-Paris Baguette is legit-we walked into there and my gosh,the options,it's kinda overwhelming.How does one even decide what direction to go-I literally saw 10+ things I wanted to try. I consider myself much more of a savory type of person rather than sweets,so bakeries sometimes can be a challenge but not this place,they had an amazing looking grilled cheese-an awesome looking egg salad sandwich-pastry franks,pizza flatbreads-the savory options are endless. Now if I went sweet-how could I deny their twisted sugar donuts or their Nutella filled croissants or the churros in caramel sauce-they have the Portuguese tarts-Pasteis de Natas that are so yummy-options are endless-I get they hype finally. Well on this particular trip,my buddy and I decided to go with the mini garlic croissants(savory) that cost $6.49 for like 6 of em and 2 jumbo twisted donuts(sweet) for $5.19 each and Supreme Croissant filled with Rasberry and Nutella(sweet) for $5.79. Got to admit-I was a kid in the candy store that morning-each item was better than the next-the garlic croissants was a true joy as their availability surprised me-didn't even know that was a thing they had there-all I was thinking as I ate them was,"man if this thing had ham and cheese in it I would be cooked"....They were pretty good.The supreme croissant with Nutella was a great combo-I really enjoyed it-I would get that again in the future. Their Korean iced coffee is on the sweet side for me and can't adjust it since it's pre-made but I love the flavor! Great customer service. Love the samples! I tried their blueberry chiffon, very moist and blueberry forward. Their carrot cake is also delicious! I can't wait to try their other cakes soon. I got a coconut chia pudding and it's yummy! Excited to see this chain open in Natomas! The space feels bright, open, and inviting--especially with so much nearby. I tried a Korean coffee that wasn't too strong, with just the right touch of sweetness, and paired it with a honey castella cake topped with a bit of whipped cream--so good. There's a new Paris Baguette in Natomas, near Tomo Tea and Daikon, across from Target. Yay! no more having to drive to Howe. The store is new and clean and the pastries and cakes look picture perfect. Since I've been to other PBs many times, I knew the drill. Get a tray, put pastries on the tray, line up at counter, pay and order drinks at the cashier. This time I got a strawberry croissant and a vanilla latte. The strawberry croissant was good. The strawberries weren't very sweet, neither was the cream. The croissant texture was nice and soft. The vanilla latte tasted exactly how a PB vanilla latte was supposed to taste like. At least the drinks were consistent. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Overall, things that I liked - a variety is fresh, beautiful pastries, gorgeous cakes, good drinks, beautiful store, a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, employees with good customer service, and a clean environment. A few things I didn't like - the strawberry croissant was good but strawberries weren't ripe enough (not sweet), the tables have no plug outlets, nowhere hooks or space to put bags in bathroom. I love being one of the first ones to experience a new place opening. It's fresh, it's clean, and it's all sparkly! Having a Paris Baguette opening in one of my go to places, was greatly anticipated! This location, thankfully, has a much larger footprint than the Arden location does, and there definitely is more parking at this location. If you haven't been to a Paris Baguette, they generally have a pretty easy process. When you walk in, you grab a tray and place a piece of wax paper on the tray and grab a pair of tongs. You then go to each one of the cases and pick out whichever pastry or savory items you would like. And then proceed to go over to the counter, where they have the refrigerated cakes. In other locations, someone will come to the cake counter and assist you. This location is rather awkward because people are standing at the cake counter, anticipating help, with people walking around them to get to the cashier only to discover there is no service at the cake counter. Everything's done with the cashier. Like I said it's awkward. This process really doesn't give the customer enough time to look at the beverage menu above their heads and almost gives a rushed feeling. We picked out a couple of pastries, and I opted to try a hot chocolate. I'll just put this out there, the pastries are expensive so choose with caution. The hot chocolate was creamy with that luxurious taste that you want hot chocolate to taste like. Definitely a splurge. It is incredibly super sweet though. Even too sweet for me. But that absolutely did not stop me from enjoying it. It was definitely a nice change from other places in the area, and the price point is pretty much in keeping with other places. I love the fact that there is plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. It makes it a very comfortable place to meet friends, have a casual date, or bring your laptop and work away! Paris Baguette is a great place to grab delicious pastries. It's a grab and go style place. When you go in you take a tray and some tongs and select the things you would like. There are all sorts of pastries - both sweet and savory. Paris Baguette's selection is wide and it is easy to find things that look absolutely amazing. My favorite thing at Paris Baguette is the king cream donut. It's a massive donut filled with their signature cream. It's good beyond belief. At the counter you can also order drinks and sandwiches. I found the sandwiches to be a little hit or miss. I tried a cheddar, egg, and bacon croissant and it came to me blackened on the top. It wasn't just charred, but totally over done. I'm surprised they didn't just fire up a new one instead of that one. I'm not one to complain so I just scrapped off some of the really bad parts and gave it a try. It was too hot and I wasn't a fan of the mustard they put in it. So overall I'd just stick to what looks the best and maybe don't risk it on sandwiches. read more

If you know, you know... we finally have a Paris Baguette in Natomas and I am SO excited about it! I've always loved their cakes, but this was actually my first time trying their pastries and let me just say, it absolutely did not disappoint. The space is big, bright, and super spacious. It's such a cute spot to catch up with friends, and I can totally see myself coming here to study or get some work done with a coffee and a pastry on the side. The vibe just feels fresh and welcoming. I ordered the strawberry croissant and the hash brown bread with ham and cheese. Both were sooo good. The strawberry croissant was flaky, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. The hash brown bread was savory, soft on the inside, and even better toasted. Honestly, I wish I had grabbed more to go. The only small hiccup was that the hash brown bread took quite a while to come out when we asked for it to be toasted. It wasn't very busy, so my husband and I were a little confused. We later found out they had accidentally burnt the first one and had to remake it. Totally understandable, but I do wish there had been a little communication so we knew what was going on. Food was amazing but coffee was a no I was bummed. I bought the pizza baguette and 3 cheese quiche as well as a vanilla sweet cream cold brew. The pizza had a nice flakiness so prepare for nice mess but I have to say the flavors were well balanced. When it comes to quiche my mom makes the best but this is a close second, with every bite you get a well balanced bite the egg is nice and fluffy and the outside is crisp and flaky so yummy. My only disappointment was the coffee. The vanilla sweet cream cold brew had an odd taste, there was no vanilla flavor at all the coffee itself tasted a little odd and so for me a huge vanilla sweet cream fan this did not give what I needed to. However I still enjoyed a sit down inside, the music was a perfect volume and vibe staff didn't make it awkward that it was just me sitting down which can happen but they were nice. I tasted only very dry sponge cake with a lot of sugar and a very little flavor of coffee. It's not worth $43 at all. I've gone here twice since they opened here in Natomas. Before I mainly went to the Howe Ave location but rarely as it was far from my home. I am so excited that they now have it so close to me. The inside is smaller than the Howe Ave location but I would say it's more clean and organized. Similar to all other Paris Baguette they have prongs and a tray to pick and choose all the pastries you want. I also appreciate that they leave some to go boxes in that area so I don't have to waste a tray. The pastries are plentiful, organized, and as expected very delicious. My favorites are the pineapple crème brulee pastry and the Nutella chocolate croissant but honestly I love almost all of the pastries. The service is pretty quick and friendly. I have no complaints about this location and so glad I can now get it more often! read more

Was excited for this new location! This spot is spacious and the location will hopefully revive this promenade in north Natomas. Came in around 11am on a Sunday, and it was busy but not crowded. Nice selections of pasties, savory breads, and lots of cakes/desserts that were so cute and scrumptious looking. They also have a good selection of coffee, tea and matcha drinks. Staff were somewhat friendly, but for a new spot, I feel they could have been more inviting and energetic. 4 stars because when bought a curry pan bread and when I bit into it, it was actually the crab/corn pan. Luckily, I'm not allergic to crab. Seems like they mixed up the labels. I informed one of the workers and although she apologized, she didn't offer to replace it with what i wanted (curry). I understand this place is new, so may just be that they're still trying to get things situated, but this could have had serious consequences if I were allergic. If zero stars were an option, I would choose that I am not sure why I keep having poor experiences at Paris Baguette. I was genuinely excited when they opened the Natomas location, but this visit was beyond disappointing. I placed an order over the phone at 5:45 PM for a chocoholic chiffon cake and paid for it. My husband reached the location at 6:08 PM to pick it up, and he was told they had sold the cake to someone else and were now out of it. How does a paid order get sold to another customer? That is not just inconvenient, it is completely unprofessional and shows a lack of basic process. When we questioned it, the only explanation we got was that they are still training their staff. Training is not an excuse for reselling something that has already been purchased. I left extremely disappointed. Tip for others If you place a phone order here, there seems to be no guarantee they will actually hold the item for you, even if you have already paid. Unfortunately, this is not my first bad experience with Paris Baguette either. I had a very poor experience at another location as well, and this one confirmed I will not be returning. read more

I want to recognize Lulu for working hard during my visit today. She kept the line moving and maintained a friendly and kind attitude despite how busy it was getting. While her coworker was taking a phone order, Lulu efficiently addressed customers, filled their orders, made drinks and also checked in with me since I left the counter preemptively without collecting my cake slice. They ruined my daughter's 5th birthday. I had ordered a specific cake that my daughter had chosen for her party. Online it says 24 hour advance notice for the specialty cake we wanted so I went physically into the store on a WEDNESDAY to order for pick up on SATURDAY. Well ahead of the 24 hour requirement. I get there on Saturday pick up day and they tell me they don't have my cake and no ingredients to make it! No phone call ahead to let me know. Worse, the manager informed me that on Tuesday they knew they had no ingredients for it HOWEVER ON WEDNESDAY THEY STILL LET ME ORDER THE CAKE. Make it make sense! The 2 managers Christina and Natalie show NO COMPASSION FOR THEIR MISTAKE and do nothing to make it right. Only offering a refund or a completely different cake. Those 2 solutions DO NOT make things right. They ruined my daughter's 5th birthday. Horrible management and customer service. I do not recommend this place and will no longer support this business. The lemon cream on the Cronut was indulgent, mild in flavor, but seemed a bit too much. The Cronut itself was chewy and covered in sugar and syrup. I haven't had a Cronut in over decade and was happy to know they still exist! Even without the cream, they're good. The texture is what makes them special. Next was the Strawberry Croissant. It's a standard sized croissant sliced in half, filled with whipped cream and fresh strawberry sliced and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. It appeared freshly made and was cold from refrigeration. I liked that. The strawberries weren't soaked in sugar and were mildly sweet. The whipped cream was slightly sweet and dense. The croissant was still cold and while good, lost some of its flakiness. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and I liked that there's a self-serve water station. The display of cakes and pastries looked amazing and definitely made me excited to try.
