We love having a Paris Banh Mi in Norman! I feel like we're here almost weekly, and we love the convenience of picking up Banh mi to go as we exit the highway. My go-to orders are usually their fresh spring rolls and their banh mi. I prefer the combination banh mi, and my partner always gets the grilled pork. I've also tried their Korean corn dogs which are pretty good and their vermicelli noodle bowl is delicious. But their banh mi are definitely the best in the metro! Their space is casual, modern, with plenty of seating when we dine in. The service is usually relatively quick too but can take some time if it's really busy. read more

Came in here to buy some pastries after lunch next door. We have a location in Edmond, but some of my family live in Norman. They were out of a lot of items around 1:30PM. I'm not a Vietnamese food person, but I do enjoy Vietnamese coffee and sweets sometimes. Paris Banh Mi is pretty much a replica of Tous Les Jours and 85° Bakery. It's the Vietnamese version. They even have some similar items such as the spinach feta pastry and other breads. They sell mostly banh mi aka baguette sandwiches and croissant sandwiches. There was also a K-dog option, but I read reviews saying it wasn't good so.. we didn't try it. The glass case desserts weren't presented that great, because the cakes didn't look appetizing. They looked stale to be honest. It's a more dense American style cake, and not similar to the cakes at TLJ, 85°, and other Asian bakeries in the metro. It was dead inside for a Tuesday afternoon. In conclusion out of all the Asian bakeries in the metro, this one's my least favorite. However, try it for yourself. The pricing on traditional Vietnamese fare here is a bit higher than some other places, but it's a cute and clean space for a quick coffee date if you're in the Norman area. However, there are better places to choose from. Will I be back? Most-likely not. read more

Delicious! The space is huge, and it is beautifully decorated. They sell an assortment of breads, pastries, desserts, and snacks on display. There is also quite a large food and drink menu. For my banh mi, I ordered the pate and cha (pork sausage), and it was so fragrant and delicious! The banh mi was stuffed! I only wished they spread the soy sauce a bit more because I would get bites of concentrated soy sauce which made it very salty, but the banh mi was overall really good. We also got drinks, and I ordered the creme brulee matcha which was so good! I don't know if I would say the drink reminded me of creme brulee or matcha, but it had a tasty, creamy, and earthy green tea flavor. The service was great and fast. We had the best Bahn Mi in awhile. My daughter and I got the B2. My other daughter got the B7. The Pad Thai at lunch was amazing. Serving portions are big. Specialty drinks- passion fruit and strawberry were very good. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Service was fast. A must try! Can't recommend enough. The prices were fair. You can't even get simple drive through food for one under $10 these last few years. So yes. Very fair pricing. We had a raspberry lemon cake slice for my daughter's birthday. Amazing. You can't beat the combo of awesome sandwiches and delicious pastries. I was so happy when they opened down the street, but I have moved so now it is not a quick easy stop, but I still make a point to try and go once a week if possible, it's that good. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered in a long time. I once barely made it there before closing, like minutes, and they had essentially closed up the kitchen. But as I said "well I'll try to get here earlier next time", they stopped me from leaving and made two sandwiches for me, took a second longer than usual because they had to open stuff back up. The negative reviews of this place must be from competition in okc because this is some of the best Vietnamese food I ever had. The B2 grilled pork banh mi is outstanding and the sandwich is a foot long. The pho comes out in this crazy stone bowl that keeps the broth hot. Tip though, get the noodles on the side because the broth will get starchy overtime. Add a little at a time. This place is great give it a shot. read more

This is a difficult review and I have taken a couple days to think about it because I want to be fair. I was initially "puzzled face" about the display of cellophane enclosed sweet treat displays one had to pass on the way to the order station. Then I was SHOCKED at the prices for Pho and vermicelli bowls! 1/3 again as much as places in the OKC metro! What?!?! Surely rent isn't that much higher!?! Not wanting to take out a loan for lunch, we looked at the main menu of sandwiches which were moderately priced. I asked the counter guy "what's your favorite?" He said the pork sandwich #2 so I said ok. Wayne got #1. We were told to pick up our order at the aptly named Pick up" station. Wayne gave a generous tip. I mentally questioned "why" if we place our order then pick up our own food. So far not a good impression. Then our food arrived (and it was brought to the table). It was a long thin baguette overflowing with these almost white strips of some kind of vegetable. What is that? Manager came by. What is this? He said it is Daikon, a type of radish, which they pickle in house. Ah! They were quite good! My pork sandwich was seasoned very well. Wayne said he tasted something like liverworts, a cold cut I remember my dad liking. After some research, he discovered he was tasting pate, which is in all sandwiches except mine. Further research revealed the name of the restaurant, Bahn Mi, simply means sandwich named after a street food everywhere in south Vietnam. I also discovered their condiment bar over by the exit door and got a mix of sweet and serious chile sauce. It made my delicious sandwich even more yummy. Bottom line? While the sandwiches were truly delicious and I enjoyed the ambiance of a French bistro, I will get my vermicelli bowls and pho elsewhere... but this was a fun, educational and tasty experience!! read more

I've visited twice now since I heard how great this place was. I believe the reviews I've heard were regarding a different location. The space is beautiful and clean. It's missed the mark on the counter service and availability of products. They are always out of items for making what I wanted to order after taking my order. The people at the counter aren't knowledgeable at all on their menu items. If you order anything besides a sandwich, be prepared to wait a while. They do give a hefty amount of filling in the sandwiches, but the flavors have missed the mark for me. The 'bakery' items I bought were stale. I left both times having regretted my visit. Hopefully they work out the kinks soon because Norman doesn't have a Vietnamese sandwich option. For now, I'll be driving a little further for better Vietnamese options. read more

Restaurant was very clean. We ordered a crunchy ramen dog and a half mozzarella half hot dog original, 2 fries and 2 slushes with boba. The total was 43 with tip. Not sure why we tipped for a carry out order. I'm tired of restaurants asking for tips that aren't serving you. Ouch. Won't be returning for two reasons. One, the price is outrageous. Two the hot dogs weren't good. They tasted like the cheapest possible hotdog, the coating wasn't crunchy, it just tasted awful. The k-dog restaurant at Penn Square mall is so much better.
