Sigh... these pants... so much emotional trauma. I came in to get the waist taken in, and there was about an inch to be taken off. I usually get my pants altered in New York, but since I was here for the summer, I decided to try out a place in Baltimore. Paris Cleaners had very good reviews on Yelp, so I thought I could trust them. Pros: Everyone that works there is very nice. They are willing to continue fixing and altering your clothes until you are happy. My story... When I came in to pick them up the first time, the tag was not sewn on. They had a table of tags and they were looking all over to find my tag. It could've been misplaced but I was lucky because I had a picture of what my pants looked like before. There was also a red marker line running at the back of the pants. The pants were a bit tight, but I guess it's fine as long as I don't breathe in them. I asked them about the tag and the red line, and they said that They could fix them, but I would have to come back the next day. I came back the next day to pick them up, and the marker stain was gone and the tag was sewn on but in the wrong color and the stitches were made in the wrong place. The tailor could've just followed the holes of the tag that they ripped it out from, but I guess not. The stitches made around the wait area is not clean at all. There are loose threads everywhere and the stitching is not straight. I didn't mention the poor stitches because that is something they're probably not able to fix and I didn't want any more holes in my pants. They're tight but I don't think they can fix this either since the fabric was already taken out. There was also a stain on the inside of the pants that wasn't originally there. If I told them about these concerns, they could've tried to fix it, but again... I don't want more holes in my pants. I also had to walk 20 minutes to get here, and I just didn't think it was worth it. My $500 St. John pants now look like they came straight from a Forever 21 rack. I've learned my lesson: I will probably never go to another tailor shop besides my trusted cleaners in NY. I literally want to cry every time I wear/try on these pants, but that's just me being dramatic. It looks like I got a size too small. I have red marks all over my waist from these pants. read more

This place has always done a nice job . The prices are low, the employees are nice, and the location is conveniently located to the fells point area. I got a suit cleaned and pressed for 10$. Shirts are only 1.50$, can't beat it. If other yelpers thought this place did a good job, why would they only rate the business 3 stars. read more

I feel like dry cleaners are one of those Yelp categories that is hard to quantify. I mean, either they do their job, or they don't...right? What would a 5-star dry cleaner encompass? Do they serve you a cocktail when you come in, and offer same-day service plus free delivery? Now *that* would be worth 5 stars! Sadly, that doesn't exist...though who knows...maybe in NY it does. Unfortunately, the owner's son at Paris Cleaners exhibiting unprofessional behavior that will prohibit me from utilizing their services in the future. I brought 5 pieces in mid-week and was scheduled to pick up on Saturday. I went in Saturday at 2pm and a few pieces were not ready. I stated that I could return later, but it would be closer to 5pm. The person helping me (who later identified himself as the owner's son) offered to deliver since I live close by. I asked if he was sure and he said yes. I wrote down my name, address, phone number and paid for the service. I was back home by 5pm and stayed home waiting on the delivery. I did not receive a phone call, nor was a voicemail left. At no point was I told to expect a call before delivery. Saturday evening I called and left a message asking if the clothes will be delivered that night. This was extremely frustrating because I was leaving for a business trip the next day and the clothes I planned to pack were missing in action. I called again today to inquire about the clothes and the young man who answered the phone immediately knew who I was. He claimed he called and when I pressed him on the subject he became frustrated- FYI: I do not have any missed calls or voicemails and no one has made an attempt to call me regarding my clothes since I left there Saturday. I asked that if he did in fact call, why didn't he leave a voice message. His response was simply that he does not leave voice messages when calling from his personal phone. I find this highly problematic given they did not have the order completed when they said they would, he did not tell me to wait on a call, AND HE OFFERED TO DELIVER THE CLOTHES. He offered a 25% refund, which I expressed was not good enough, and then he cut the conversation short by hanging up the mid-discussion. I was disgusted by the level of unprofessionalism exhibited and called back and asked if he was the owner. He said he was the owner's son so I asked to speak to the owner. Finally, the owner came to the phone, exhibited remorse, and again offered a 25% refund. I will be returning next week for a refund. Even though I will not patronize this company in the future, I am glad the owner took responsibility for the situation. read more

I've been here a few times for dry cleaning. The workers are friendly, pricing is decent and the turn around time is good as well. I had pants tailored here and they did a good job, and had a good price. I don't know about for more complicated tailoring but I will continue to bring my clothes here to be dry cleaned. read more

Dropped of multiple shirts several times for laundry and they always came back clean, but wrinkled. I don't mean slightly below crisp, I mean really wrinkled with sharp creases in the sleeves and on the back. When I asked the employee about it, I was told I had to "shop around" and that for $1.50 they could not pay attention to detail. read more
