My mom has been talking about this place for months to try and excited. It was an extreme disappointment. Everyone that ate here 12 hours later is still having extreme stomach pain and digestion issues. The food definitely isn't fresh, the desserts please don't even attempt. Have to agree with several of the reviewed...inconsistent and no obvious management connection! Cheyenne is a small town with close community connections...restaurants need to know this at the beginning or they will not make it here!! Salad mediocre...main entrees same. The Paris West is a nice unique place. It is designed with a French flair and old brick building concept. The menu is very limited food wise but full of alcoholic beverages. We enjoyed the mussel appetizer and the sauce was outstanding. The next item was the French Onion soup, this was tough. Lots of onions no broth, the bread was very thick so what sauce you had was soaked up in the bread. The cheese was melted by a flame and not melted in an oven. The main course was a braised beef stew. It was a little salty and all they provided was garlic mash potatoes. The potatoes were not bad but I'm not a garlic potato fan. The other meal was brisket sliders which were very tender and good. Every course that came out had bread. Too much bread. The staff was very friendly and service was great. The manger came out and asked about our meal and we were very honest about the onion soup or lack of soup portion. My recommendation is try it for yourself as I was not a huge fan of a very limited menu especially when the quality of good is lacking on some of the items ordered. read more

I think I was at a different restaurant today from the other reviews that I saw about this place. One my Mac n cheese did NOT come out with the other entrees at my table. Actually nobody's food came out at the same time. When I got my Mac n cheese with brisket it was Very disappointing. It nearly covered the bottom of the small iron skillet that it came in. They presented to me like it was just out of the oven so be careful or you will burn your self. NOT it was nearly warm. Next there was NO taste in the macn cheese the brisket was so so. For the large amount I had to pay you would think I was in LA., CA!!! My husband burger was not a huge burger for the huge price tag either. They asked him how he wanted it done, but the just ignored his wants and burned it because that was their choice? All in all I don't have much to say about the non quaint restaurant. read more

We we're so excited to have a new restaurant in Cheyenne but were beyond disappointed. My friend's chili was cold. My meal was so small for the cost, I was sure they had brought me the wrong thing. My husband was served a tiny piece of chicken for $28! His meal also came out about 15 minutes after the others had already been served. We love Cheyenne, and we want you to succeed, but your price to portion and overall satisfaction has to change if you want to be successful. read more

It ok but can easily be vastly improved with some minor tweaking. The carrots and celery looked as though they had been cut and sitting in the refrigerator for a few days. Clean the dirt off the celery and a splash of cold water can usually bring the carrots back to life to make them more appealing. I have no idea what the tasteless white sauce was at the bottom of the bowl. Mayo? The Brie Wheel was pretty good but needed more flavor plus more bread that needed to be toasted. The Macaroni Fromage was tasty but it was brought out cold. I could pick the little frying pan up with my bare hands. The Fromage Grill was very tasty. Mason jars? I really wanted to love this place. The beignets were fantastic the first time I had them. ordered again today and "out" so sad. the server said they have been out for two weeks. as for the dinner items.... not so much. everything is SOOOO salty it is almost inedible. the atmosphere is nice however just wish it could be better. first time I was there it was -20 and the heater was out. second time-super salty yucky food. 3rd- no items on menu and a $10 mini espresso martini (shot glass size). do I try for a 4th?? read more

First, I must say they only had one waitress and the place had a party in the lobby and the little seating area was constantly changing. Having said that the service was really poor and that may have lead to some of the poor food review. My wife on her Birthday ordered a speciality drink and it took about 10 minutes to get the drink and the coke about 4 minutes. We also order an appetizer and we had that about the time the coke came but would have been nice to the drink with the appetizer. My wife order the Red Wine Short Ribs with a salad and I have the surf and turf with the french onion soup. Where to start. It took about 25 minutes to get the meal and that is not bad for great food but that was not the case. The short ribs were sooooo salty and was hard to eat. When the meal was delivered so was the salad. We had to remind her that their was a salad ordered. Normally, the salad would have come first to enjoy it and now to eat the salad the meal got colder. When delivered the short ribs were just like warm. The same was with the sUrf and turf. Just warm and so was the onion soup. The onion soup like the salad was delivered with meal and my saw it on the delivery area a few minutes before the meals where put there. I got a second pepsi and it came without ice and was the hottest item served. For almost a $100.00 it was a total rip-off and will not ever go back again!!!!!! We thought we would try this place once they had some time to work the kinks out of service and food because some of the early reviews were not great. Yelp asked if I would recommend. Just based off pricing, reviews and the food served, I would not try it or recommend. And yelp also shows a health score, and for being relatively new, it shows a lot of health violations. I have never heard anyone recommend this restaurant, but I have heard a lot of people say to stay clear. My husband and I decided to try this place for date night. I figured we waited long enough after opening for all of the kinks to be worked out. We were sat next to a window and my seat was more like a sunken love seat that required me to sit up in an uncomfortable position in order to reach the table. I ordered the Brisket Sliders and my husband ordered the Beef Bourguignon. He had to reorder something else because the menu didn't mention mushrooms so he got the grilled cheese. My beef sliders were not sliders, it was 1 sandwich on hard bread and my side salad was included on the same plate so in order for me to use dressing on my salad, I had to eat the sandwich first or risk it being soaked by salad dressing. The water tasted like it came straight out of the tap which was disappointing considering the price point of everything else on the menu. The tomato bisque soup is great. The toasted cheese leàves a lot to be desired; cheese. It was terrible. The cost for food is inflated. I could get the same soup from Albertson's deli and buy tillamook cheese from their dairy section. I expected more when they put Paris in their name. read more

This is a super cute addition to downtown Cheyenne in a really unique old building. We ordered mussels as an appetizer, the short rib special, steak and potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. Everything was delicious! The garlic mashed potatoes are incredible and my sons steak was so delicious and tender. My nephew said the macaroni and cheese was fire!! For dessert we had cheesecake and crème brûlée. The crème brûlée was good and the cheesecake was incredible! Our waitress wasn't clean looking, greasy unkept hair. She forgot our plates so our appetizer was cold by the time she remembered. There was only one other couple in the restaurant so it wasn't busy. The ratio of things to dip in our green chili Brie was skimpy. So we had a lot of the cheese leftover and nothing to dip in it. I felt the food was overpriced. The salad that came with my dinner was abundant but nothing "french" or special about it, could have made it at home. The Coq au vin was very tasty but $29 dollars.
