While in this line we were greeted with a friendly face of samples of biscuits and cinnamon roles. That was a special treat while waiting to order. The young lady at the counter was very sweet and very knowledgeable of the food options. The owner also greeted us after we ordered our food. He was extremely nice and friendly. My big complaint is having to navigate a sometimes long line. But, I was seated in 10-15 minutes and my breakfast came out within another 10, so it could have been worse. The bacon/egg/cheese biscuit I ordered was well above average and my ice tea was fine and I was offered a refill without having to request one. Servers are friendly/helpful/efficient. Solid place to stop for a burger (on either a biscuit or a bun). Service was normal (not fast but not slow), the place was packed so I'm glad we were able to snag a high top, and the bathrooms were clean. First time eating here a few Sundays ago--we had a group of 8 and 1 in the group had been here previously and highly recommended it so this is where we went---it was Sunday between 10:00 am and 10:30 am--you enter, tell the host --who I believe is owner--how many people are in your party and then you go order you food--you pay for your food and your table is immediately ready for you---or at least that is what happened on our visit--efficient and quick and with smiling faces---made us feel very comfortable and relaxed---and a short period of time after you sit, your food is brought to you--yum yum---Parish Biscuit servers breakfast, lunch, and some specialty dishes or local favorites--and they provide generous portions and everthing you need and want to walk away with a full belly. Food was great and portion sizes were good for the price. My husband got the Crawfish Omelet, I got the Cameron, and my toddler daughters split the pancake plate. My husband couldn't finish his omelet, I was full, and my girls finished almost their whole plate. The building and ambiance are nice. Things are nice and neat, but I would expect them to be that way for the prices and type of restaurant. I only gave four stars because the left most ladies' bathroom left much to be desired. There was mold-looking residue around the waterline in the toilet bowl and "debris" (someone had stomach problems) on the tank that made me wonder when it was last cleaned. The sink has a push/timed faucet that required me to hold it down almost the entire time I was trying to wash hands while also lifting a toddler. It just seemed like such a nice brunch restaurant could put in a more functional faucet and clean their toilets more often. Overall, it was a good experience and I would return if I lived in the area. Lots of options to choose from. The biscuits are so good I could eat them by themselves. I do like a wet biscuit so I like sauces or creams to be served with it. We started with the Vermillion Biscuit with bacon. The biscuit was flaky, flavorful, but a bit dry. We also had the Saint Mary biscuit. It was basically a fried shrimp poboy on a biscuit. The idea is good, but it's very impractical to eat. It fell apart more and more with each bite. The flavor was really good and the shrimp cooked perfectly? Last, we had the fried chicken sandwich on a jalapeno cheddar brioche bun. The bun was the best party! It was soft and fresh. The chicken was average but the chipotle aioli was very good. We were awakened this Saturday with breakfast on our minds, and thought we would give Parish Biscuit a try, and we were pleasantly delighted. The parking in the strip mall can be a little tricky due to a few of the spaces being specifically for other businesses. When you get in there's a line, however you can grab a menu and review before ordering from the line, open seating, they will ask how many in your party to give seating suggestions, and the food will be brought to your table, little confusing at first if you're not use to this type of dining. I got the country breakfast with an extra biscuit, two eggs two bacon and potatoes with a biscuit and coffee, the potatoes shined here, for the biscuits the honey butter didn't go as well as I thought but definitely delicious with steen syrup or jelly, the California omelette was good, a whole half of avocado would have made a better dish, three slices threw us off, but still a solid omelet. I had such high hopes for our brunch here but most everything except the coffee was just terrible. My chicken and waffles was a strange thigh that was rubbery and almost woody like it hadn't been cooked right or was not typical meat. The waffle was very gritty and although it was not gluten free, it sure tasted like it was almond meal. The burger was also pretty rough with a strange pepper jelly that overwhelmed the flavor. No fries or anything else came with it. We saw a lot of food being left on plates. I don't believe we will give it another shot. Service was non-existent. My husband and I ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered a chicken sandwich which has a another name on the menu. I asked the hostess to direct me to the 2 popular breakfast items. The waffles were not fluffy and light. Instead they were hard and drenched in syrup. The chicken was crispy but the taste wasn't there. I really wanted to like this breakfast item. The breakfast chicken biscuit would have been semi-tasty but the biscuit was so hard it scratched my gums. When exiting the restaurant, I realized I should have ordered what appeared to be tasty in yelp, which is the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit.
