Impressive work by Parisi. The crews are friendly and very efficient. They extracted our driveway, dropped down stones and leveled it. After a week or so, they did asphalt repaving. They had all of the proper machinery and crews of workers. They worked seamlessly and properly leveled our driveway. It turned out great and we are very happy with the results. Just a follow up, got a call from Chris the owner. He was not happy with the way things evolved with his company. He took ownership of it, the buck stopped with him and was a stand up guy about the whole situation. It is busy season so it would have been very easy to blow off a bad Yelp review, we've all seen it done before. For this I do give Chris and Parisi credit. Your word and your actions still mean something. Chris gets that. Within a matter of 10 min he knew exactly what I wanted done, addressed another issue I had which I thought was gonna cost me a bit. Absolute horrible driveway replacement! Never saw a laser or stick used for grading??! My house is now the neighborhood hot spot for driveway bird baths!! Gonna cost me thousands to repair all the back patio and porch damage! And a you can see they didn't even run a string to make sure my edging was straight?? These complaints don't even include the 15' of edging that they rolled over and buried into the half assed install...... And if you can believe it, Chris Parisi's customer service is even worse than his craftsmanship!! read more

Parisi Paving definitely stands behind their work. Late last year 2020 I had a driveway replaced by Parisi. There was a pitch issue that resulted in water pooling toward the center of the driveway. When I called the owner (Chris) and told him we had a pitch issue he was very responsive. It was too late in the season to correct. (Cold Weather). Parisi Paving just completed and corrected the pitch issue as Chris promised. I couldn't be happier with the end result. Brian & Chris remained in contact with me throughout the whole process. Worst paving company in the area. Called them out for warranty work for cracks and sinking asphalt. They responded after my warranty was up. When they finally did take a look they said the cracks and sinking was normal wear. The cracks and sinking were the reasons I had my driveway replaced. I called again and the owner was extremely rude and never showed up to evaluate the cracks and sinking. Use anyone other then Parisi. read more

Based upon the proposal they were to repair the cracks and apparently this work wasn't done throughout the driveway. Not to mention just poor attention to detail and craftsmanship with the impression left on my driveway. Buyer beware. Our asphalt after a few weeks showed thousands of voids (excessive solvents that evaporated?). In less that 4 months the new driveway began to show birdbaths (low spots), and rutting up to 1" deep where the car wheels passed. (Uncured asphalt & a poor base?) The ruts hold ice in the winter which makes exiting onto the street a risk. In the hot summer, after 3 years, hot tires still melt the asphalt off the gravel inside the pavement, which then show up as white blotches all over the place. (Uncured asphalt?). Now we have a tree root trying to come up through 3" inches of Parisi crap. (Uncured asphalt?) I have never before seen tree roots cause a bulge in pavements, have you? Ours is over 1" high and over a foot round, and still growing. And we are starting to see a few cracks too. And pavement in sinking and causing a large puddle at the garage apron, one of the original reasons we had Parisi redo it in the first place. We formally complained before the warranty expired but we have gotten nowhere. The warranty is worthless. I can't imagine a paver any worse than this outfit. read more

As i read other reviews i can attest to horrible service. Said they would seal my driveway in two weeks. Finally after 2 months they said they would be on site between 10-12. Never showed. Finally at 4 i called them and told them to forget it. After posting review on their website the owner then replies back with excuses. Then asks me to call them and he would personally make this right. I called twice over a week spoke to customer service or whoever and told them to call me, Month later still no response. This company is a joke. Since they don't care about a $200 sealcoat job i had told them next year i will have them replace my drive. So $200 they don't care $8000 they don't care. They just give lip service and don't follow up. Many more reliable companies available that do care about its customers and don't lie. Beware if you use them. read more

We are on our fourth year with our new driveway and the shoulders are cracking like crazy. We have had them repaired and still more cracking. This was done right before we bought our home with the previous owner. Within months we bought and have been here for 3 years now. We sealed the driveway right away and have been taking care of it ever since. I was told there was nothing that could be done by the Parisi team and even spoke to a supervisor on another job in the neighborhood. I was to... you know, the weather. My next door neighbor just had his driveway done with another company and said that Parisi was tempting because they were cheaper, but after seeing the condition of mine in such a short period of time, he went elsewhere. Had them replace my driveway a couple of years ago. The original driveway was sinking everywhere a car drove or parked. They put some crushed gravel over the original base and paved over it. After less than 6 months it was already going bad. The owner blew me off, and never fixed the problem. I'd pay more to use another contractor. Stay Away From Parisi !!! I had to replace my driveway and searched a bunch of companies online. I filled out a form on Parisi's website on April 27th to request a quote and Drew came out the very next morning to give me a quote. I had asked for 2 quotes: 1 to replace my driveway as is (3 car garage with 2 car driveway entrance) and the 2nd one to extend the bottom of my driveway to a 3 car entrance. Drew sent me the 2 quotes the following day! We decided to extend our driveway with a 3 car entrance. I had asked him when they could do the work once we signed the contract and he estimated end of June/early July. I had to get approval and permits from my association first and then from the village of Lake in the Hills. There were no issues getting the permits from the contracts they provided me. It had rained a lot in May and June however sure enough, Parisi was right on track with their estimated timeline they gave me and came out on June 28th to prep my driveway. They tore out my old driveway, extended the bottom part and left it with gravel that was steam rolled and packed down all within 3 hours. They had evened out a slight incline in the middle of our driveway which had caused some water to drain into our garage instead of flowing down to the street. They couldn't pave it on the same day but it wasn't an issue because we could still use our drive way. They said they would be out to pave it in the next week or so and sure enough, they came out on July 6th. They had paved it all within 4 hours! The driveway was beautifully done!!! Drew was reachable every time I had called him and he was very attentive to every question and concern that I had. Both teams that came out to prep and pave the driveway were very organized and worked very diligently to get the work done in a timely manner. Each team that came out made sure that all my questions were answered before leaving. I had even talked to Drew after the job was done. Needless to say, Drew and the staff at Parisi were excellent and they did an impeccable job. Not only did they give me the best quote, but they were attentive and professional. When one week went by and no one came, I called again, left a message on their machine. No call back, no one came to do estimate--no business from me. I hired someone else. read more

We had them replace our driveway not even a year ago, and the asphalt is already starting to sink which indicates the base likely wasn't compacted properly. Even our garbage bins are leaving imprints in the pavement. We attempted to contact them about this issue, and they've ignored us and blown us off. They have horrible communication/customer service. I had and extremely bad experience with another contractor who left me hanging with no work done. I was in a rush to beat the winter weather and decided to give Parisi a shot. We called about 10 am to ask if they could fit us in, as this year's fall weather was so good, they could indeed get the driveway done before the winter shutdown. By the time I got home that evening, JULIE had been out to check for utilities, they had marked the extension and sent two emails about the details. They showed up a few days later just as promised. They checked in with my son to make sure no cars were trapped in the garage while they worked. The base was nicely compacted (my neighbour who is in construction said they did it right). Two days later, as promised, they laid the asphalt drive. Work was excellent. Easy to work with, responded to every call immediately. Why not 5 stars? I just wanted to leave a bit of room to make sure the driveway survives a winter and summer intact. I'll modify the rating if it looks as good a year from now. read more

I believe it was about 1986 that Parisi first put in the drive at our new home. They did a wonderful job. Over the years we've had to have it resealed several times and most often we called Parisi back to do the sealing. I've always been satisfied with Parisi up until now. I called them a few months back to ask them about having our driveway sealed. I was told that they would have to wait until the weather warmed up a bit before they did any resealing. That made sense. And then called them about three weeks ago telling them that the street in front of our house was being repaved and after that was done I would like to have them seal to drive. They told me no problem they would do it. Once the street was finished, I called them again and asked for a date for it to be sealed. I was told that it would be done sometime the week of July 6. The week went by and I heard nothing. So, today, July 13, I called Parisi and asked what happened. The woman I spoke with acted as if she had never heard of my request. She then told me that they would let me know in a few weeks when they could do the job. After being a loyal customer for so many years,I thought that was pretty shoddy treatment. I told her that I may have to look for someone else to do it. In a very cavalier manner she told me, "just let us know if you find someone." Not very good customer focus, eh, Parisi? read more

Haven't heard back in over a month. I've left 1 message for the estimator on his cell and 2 at their main number. No reply at all! I called another company and was quoted over the phone and given a service date that worked for me. I also got 2 more neighbors to have theirs done. Very poor communications and failure to deliver contracted services. After obtaining a quote for resealing the driveway, I accepted the quote and attempted to schedule. I was told that they were running behind due to weather and it would be about 4 weeks. Furthermore was told that they would contact me. At the 6 week point I wrote an email wondering where I was on the queue for the job I had authorized. Their rep responded that they would be there in two weeks to do the job. Four weeks later and nothing. So I contacted the rep again and he never even bothered to return the message. I have zero tolerance for dishonest business practices. Take your business to a more reputable paving/sealcoating company. I also have zero tolerance for a company that challenges negative reviews and has them removed because they do not want to improve their practice and hope to fool others into using them. Parisi Paving put in our driveway 3 years ago. They did a beautiful job. HOWEVER, I have been trying since last September (2013) to get our driveway sealed. The weather (apparently) got too bad too quickly last Fall and they were unable to seal it. I was assured that our driveway was first on the list for the spring. It is now August and it still has not been sealed (or fixed...because it wasn't sealed before last winter we have major cracks in our new driveway that are getting worse). I have called the guy in charge of sealing multiple times since March and am always told that it will be 2 weeks. I am still waiting....and it is now August. The kicker is that they have been in my town sealing driveways and putting new driveways in since March. read more

Parisi should CHANGE THEIR NAME. I had my driveway replaced (after waiting over 90 days after signing the contract to get them here) last September. At the time I talked with their manager who informed me that they would sealcoat my driveway once the paving had cured. He emphasized that they also did sealcoating. Well, things have changed and they are not doing that work any more and they have no one to recommend. I am left with the end of the season to try to get someone out here to seal a new project.
