Ok, now this is incredible! Look at these pants with the intricate inlay on the bottom. I am a short person and ALL the pants I buy need to be shortened by at least 4". I was so afraid I would love the beautiful inlay would be totally destroyed when they were shortened, but look, she separated and removed the stitching and then put the inlay back after shortening the pants!!!!! read more

Best tailor if you want work done on a formal dress, whether prom, wedding, or special event. My daughter bought a gorgeous dress (online) that needed shortening. There were 5 layers to be shortened. She walked us through the process and kept us aware of the timing to complete the work. It's a small storefront, so I recommend calling ahead or possibly dropping in to confirm a fitting time - she is flexible, too. I would entrust her with any fine-quality clothing. I got service from here. I gave my coat for cleaning. There was a sunscreen stain on neck of my coat. It was a puffer coat. Two days later I got my coat back. It was horrible. They ruined my coat, all fluffy stuff inside my coat was like got lumpy. It was like they didn't make dry clean, I thought they put it to the washing machine. I told them to fix it. When I came back there they didn't fix my coat. Also they charged me. Don't go there. read more

I was in need of a new tailor and went in search on yelp in my area. I thought I would give Parisian Tailor a try and I'm very happy that I did. She had my alterations completed the very next day and even though I needed some additional alterations on the same garment she took the time to do them while I waited. She was very friendly and a pleasure to chat with and her dog Coco, kept me company while I waited. What's the ultimate sin for a business owner?....lying to your customer. It was my first time in the shop for any type of service. I recently purchased 2 sport coats that needed to be altered, so I brought them in along with a few other items to be dry cleaned. Like many people, I have one arm that is longer than the other, so I simply needed the right sleeve on my jackets lengthened by half an inch. After the owner took my measurements I asked how much this would cost. She told me that she charges $25 to alter both sleeves of a sport coat, but since I only needed one sleeve of each coat altered, she told me she would charge me $17 for each coat. I say that's fine and I give her the coats to be altered, expecting to pay a total of $34 for having one sleeve altered on each of two sport coats. When I arrived to retrieve the tailored and cleaned clothes the owner shows me the receipt displaying a charge of $25 per sleeve for a total of $50! I remind her what we discussed and she claims that she never mentioned a discount for only doing one sleeve. After going back and forth for a couple of minutes she decides to reveal (or make up) that she actually charges $50 per jacket if both sleeves are altered. I tell her that is a blatant lie and express my disappointment that she would do this to a customer. She says that she doesn't discuss prices before asking for payment so there's no way she would've quoted $17 and sticks to her story. If there was any doubt about the agreement I would expect her to "take the loss" and give the customer the benefit of the doubt. As we were starting our potential long-term business relationship it was incredibly disappointing that she would jeopardize her reputation for an extra $16. I recently started a new job that is quite a bit more formal than my previous role and I'm in the process of building out my wardrobe. There's a lot of future business that this shop will not receive from me and I will gladly drive farther to give my dollars to a more honorable tailor. read more

Wow. Karem was able to install a hidden zipper in the front of my graduation gown. She found a zipper that matched the color perfectly and it was an incredibly reasonable price especially considering it had to be hand sewn. She is sweet and willing to go the extra mile to make it just like you want. Would highly recommend. read more

I have been doing business with this shop since 2005. On my first visit the owner got me out of a jam. I was in need of an alteration to my suit jacket and I needed it done quick. The tailor had it done in a day. I've been a customer ever since. I get my dry cleaning done here as well. They are closed on Mondays but the Tuesday through Saturday schedule works fine. It's always a pleasant visit and I feel like I count. 5 stars!!!!! read more

I have never been more disappointed from a customer service stand point than I was with this tailor. I went in to get a dress hemmed and the top taken in. I called before I got to the store ask for an estimate and the owner quoted me $50. I dropped the dress off and the work was not completed for 5 weeks! When I finally was able to pick up the dress she charged me $200. $200 was more than I paid for the dress itself. I went back and forth with the owner saying how ridiculous the price was and that she quoted me a fraction of what she charged. She blantenly lied and said she would never quote before the garment was done. She told me to walk around and see what tailor would do that work for less and so here you go for anyone looking for a reasonable tailor go to Elite Tailor in Westwood. Absolutely criminal what Parisian charges and simply lying about quotes. read more

Horrible experience! Took my daughters prom dress in for an alteration 2 weeks ago and after 4 trips we ended up with a dress that still did not fit up top because a certain alteration that she was fitted for at 10pm the day before her prom was NOT done. The manager, Sanjay, refused to believe or listen to anything I had to say and ended up calling me a mother f*er on the phone because I would not bring the dress back to the shop with my daughter for yet another fitting...because she was at her prom in another dress!! This is not so much as a dry cleaner as a goodwill in disguise. I dropped off my dry cleaning and have not been able to pick it up in two weeks as they have been closed ever since.
