Been wanting to try doppo for so long and it did not disappoint! Initially I wanted to try their Hojicha, but they're out. So I got the Iced double Matcha with Matcha Cloud and oat milk, and now I get the hype! It's situated inside the Pop-up District (and Asian food hall) at Eden Center along with other 4-5 food stalls. The place has a modern vive with plenty of seating, making it a great place to hang out. I love doppo at Eden Center, but I don't always love going there because it's usually packed and parking can be tricky. Next time I visit, I know for sure I'll be getting my matcha fix from doppo. Can't wait!

Stopped by the new Pop Up food hall at Eden center to grab a quick lunch and to check out Doppo's matcha drinks. Got their coco cloud matcha and double matcha which were both pretty tasty!! The matcha cloud was fluffy while their coconut water actually had an authentic coconut taste with a balancing sweetness. The double matcha offers the option of selecting your base as either matcha vs hojicha. I opted for the latter since that's what staff recommended. The hojicha flavors were strong and complemented the mild matcha cloud cream. I should have asked for a lower sugar level but overall still enjoyed the drink! For both drinks the matcha cloud didn't feature a super strong matcha flavor per se but complemented the main drink well. For desserts, I got to try their mini cakes. The honeycomb and the cassava cakes were both solid and very affordable! Didn't get a chance to check out their other tarts but definitely would be interested next time. Staff members were nice and patient; drinks came out quick for a weekday afternoon. Lots of seating the Pop Up food hall.

Doppo is a new drink shop opened in Eden Center, specifically in the Pop-up District. Pop-up District is Eden's new food hall. With various vendors in here, I wanted to give Doppo a try. Their menu has a few drinks all pictured on the top. I opted to try the OJ Americano and my cousin got the coconut lemonade. Both drinks were kind of disappointing but I did like the cups they came in. First off, for the coconut lemonade my cousin said that there was really no coconut taste, it basically tasted like watered down lemonade. I had a sip as well and I also agreed with her sentiment. I think maybe to enhance the coconut lemonade, coconut jelly could be added to give it more depth. Whatever is giving it the coconut taste in the coconut lemonade also probably needs more of it to taste more like what I imagine a coconut lemonade should taste. For the OJ Americano, I did get it unsweetened as it was mentioned the orange juice is kind of a natural sweetener for the drink. However, I feel like the drink kind of felt flat. I've had like fruity Americanos before but I feel like it normally needs some type of sparkling aspect to enhance the drink. Maybe it does come down to personal preference but I just thought the drink was okay. Drinks are on the pricier end as the two drinks total cost almost $15. Service was friendly and pleasant. There is also plenty of seating if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. I will say while waiting for my order, I saw plenty of people order the pink matcha so maybe that is one of the drinks I should've gotten over what I got. It will be interesting to see what new additions and changes Doppo makes as they adapt to their new scene in the Eden Center.

Nice spot for matcha in you're in the area. We ordered the: Coco cloud matcha - very refreshing on a hot day. Matcha was smooth with the coconut juice. Pink matcha latte - on the grainer side Service was quick. The venue is in a spacious food hall and you order at the register.

Service was good but the drink was disappointing. I ordered the butterscotch matcha. The matcha was so light colored and tasted like plain milk. The cream itself was good thought but I would not come back here for good quality matcha.

I saw this place on social media and decided to check it out. It's located in a foodhall. It's immediately in front and soon as you walk in the vibe was pretty chill. There's lots of seating areas and food options. They have a full menu and alternative milk options. I got the double Matcha with almond milk, which was a Matcha cold foam over a Houjicha latte. It was so good. I would definitely recommend. I also got the butterScotch Matcha with oat milk. It was OK. I didn't really taste any of the butterscotch flavoring, but it just taste like Matcha. The service was pretty quick for a Saturday. They whisk the matcha in a bowl, which is great. I will say the Matcha is pretty pricey average $9 to $10. It's definitely a sweet treat, but not for the regular.

I tried the Pink Matcha Latte after seeing it all over social media, but unfortunately it was a letdown. The matcha was grainy and lacked flavor-it didn't taste like ceremonial grade, or if it was, they didn't use enough. The strawberry cream seemed to be made with real strawberries, but it tasted more like a watered-down smoothie. Once mixed, the flavors just didn't work together.

Even though I live an hour away, I'll gladly drive for their matcha drinks. Absolutely delicious and totally worth it!

I have been meaning to deive to Eden center just to try this place out cause esthetically i was obsessed with the cute cups! I haven't stepped foot in there, but ordered delivery and I can honestly say in person i love the cups! The doppelganger cups fit perfectly in cup holders! They are so adorable. Even with delivery the drinks came perfect! Not watered down and still very delightful in taste. I got the pink matcha latte, which if you don't like overwhelmingly sweet drinks, this is perfect for you. It has the strawberry cloud foam on top which was tasty. The matcha wasn't as present as I wanted it to be, but i still enjoyed it very much. As for the hojicha butterscotch latte?!?!? WHAT an amazing drink the hojicha was so prominent and earthy, I loved it so much and the butterscotch touch just made the drink 100% better. I will have to add toppings next time, but i was absolutely obsessed! Will have to make my way to the actual store front soon!!!

Coffee was made fresh with each order. I had the butterscotch latte. It was rich and different from the normal cafe sua da. Baristas were super friendly, smiling, and gave options. The cafe's vibe is hip and modern, it's like stepping into a cool magazine spread. The place is in a newly built food hall setting. The place is a good go-to for a caffeine fix and a dose of trendy atmosphere. Definitely check it out if you're @Eden Center. P.S. Ms. Barista if you were allergic to chocolate, I am so sorry !! - Charlie.

Ordered the Vietnamese coffee and it was a cupful of ice with 3-4 sips of coffee for $7! Drink itself was good but not worth the price given the serving size

Located inside the pop up district in Eden center, is Doppo. Absolutely surprised by how delicious and refreshing our drinks were. We tried the butterscotch hojicha and matcha cloud foam with coconut water. Both were fresh and were the perfect thirst quencher on a hot Virginia day. Both were not overly sweet and that's always a plus in our book. Both were made well and quick and I must say, I adore the cups they were made in. The recyclable straws are also a great addition and we will definitely be back whenever we're in Eden center.

The doppo coffee that I had (the hojicha matcha latte) was good for me. I appreciated the earthiness from the tea and the matcha; I'm glad I asked for less sweetness; I barely tasted any sweetness at all which I preferred. The foam was creamy and the tea also had a nice thickness. The drink came out super fast. Prices are a bit high, but that's with everything nowadays.

They even have a dog menu, and the patio setup is honestly beautiful. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and aesthetically on point. The staff greets you right away, and first impressions were genuinely great. We chose to sit outside on the balcony so my puppy could join us, and that space alone is worth noting -- fire pits going, cozy atmosphere, just really well done. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We ordered food for all of us, including my daughter and my puppy. My food and my puppy's food came out fairly quickly, but my daughter's meal never arrived. After waiting quite a while, I had to flag down the waiter, only to be told -- after the fact -- that they didn't even have what she ordered. At no point before that did anyone communicate this. So now she has to reorder, and we're waiting all over again while the rest of us are already eating. When her food finally arrives, there's no silverware. Just... dropped off with no thought to the fact that she actually needed utensils to eat. We also ordered lemonade, which was great -- but when the waiter offered to bring more after the issues, it never came. To try and make up for things, they brought out a dessert that looked beautiful, but when we asked what was in it (due to food sensitivities), the waiter had no idea. He eventually came back with an allergy sheet, which felt like an afterthought rather than informed service. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead, the waiter told me, "I just got out of trouble -- what can I do to make this right?" That response alone was incredibly off-putting and unprofessional. We ultimately just had my daughter's meal removed from the bill and decided to move on. Even my puppy's waffles -- which was one of the things we were most excited about -- came out slightly burnt. Overall, the lack of communication, poor follow-through, and disorganized service completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience. It's disappointing because the space and concept have so much potential. Unfortunately, I can't overlook the service issues.

Went for restaurant week, and had a great selection of peach toast, rigatoni with bone marrow, pork steak, and desert. The prix fix also came with the miso sourdough focaccia with honey butter. Our favorite was the peach toast, believe it or not. The fresh peaches were plentiful over the cheesy creamy spread, and the combo was just delicious. The rigatoni was very al dente (which I liked, hubby hated), and had a unique flavor, a bit on the sweeter side. The bone marrow was brought to the table for you to scrape into your pasta, changing the flavor profile a bit. I always love bone marrow so I thought the add on was a fair price. Overall I liked it but it wasn't something I'd come back for. The Berkshire pork steak was really good. My first bite ate like a steak, and was tender, moist and delicious. The sauce it came with was nice. The potato puree was decent, and the broccolini had a strong charred flavor. Everything on this plate was a small portion size, but all tasted good. The chimichurri sauce though, I didn't care for. The desert was mixed. Liked the peach cobbler, but wished there were more cobbler. The chocolate cake was the biggest disappointment. It was dry, and didn't taste very good. The ice cream that came with it was good though. Overall, Ellie bird is a great place to dine, It's worth coming trying.

Service: First, I have to call out the service. It was fantastic and the manager was wonderful. When we walked in, the manager showed us the menu, gave recommendations on what to get (get the breakfast plate and hot egg plate), said no pressure, and introduced us to the woman working the cash register who also brought us our food. He later sent us two baklava pieces after we finished our meal. We were beyond surprised and let me say...they were delicious. He was so nice, the vibes of the restaurant were so friendly and it was a welcoming atmosphere. Food: We got the breakfast plate and hot egg plate which was recommended and is the best deal. For the egg plate I got the menemen (tomatoes and peppers with eggs) which was so good. I don't like cooked tomatoes, so I am not sure why I like this or how they make it, but it is delicious and not super tomatoey. The breakfast plate comes with 2 pita, dips, tomato, cucumber. We also got the Turkish Sausage eggs which are great and have slim cut pieces of sausage in them. We also got 2 simits, 2 boreks and 2 teas. The baklava was outstanding! We tried what I think was the regular which had a floral tone to it, the chocolate and the tahini. The tahini was my favorite by far - I had never tasted anything like it. Each piece is $2 and affordable. Seating: There is indoor and outdoor seating. I believe there may have been 8 tables inside? It is set up well in that you can make the tables smaller or bigger. Square and round tables. Good for groups larger than 4. Outdoor seating has a ton of tables and was in the shade when we were there. Parking: Super easy.
