Lavender Matcha Latte Strawberry Matcha Latte

Located in the Founder's Row complex, parking available on the street and the retail garage (will validate for 2 hours). The matcha lattes are $9/10 but taste good. Staff was helpful in helping me order a non dairy option for my friend. The ice cream menu options looked tasty as well!

I was craving a matcha crepe cake slice and Kyo came through! I had a matcha crepe slice, an Ube towel cake, and an matcha latte. While I haven't tried the towel cake yet, the crepe cake and matcha latte were delicious! I love that this place stays open till 10pm, I get cravings for sweet treats late and want something quick I can get. I'll definitely be back!!

This Kyo matcha location is in falls church city, with validated parking as long as you scan at a restaurant within 20 min of parking. It's bright and clean with a lot of seating. Drinks are made quick! I love the matcha latte float- 0% sugar, is still sweet with full matcha ice cream!

The quality of the matcha here is good! Everything is always a true green color. I like how there's options for drinks, ice cream, and cake. It is pretty pricey here though. The pistachio mousse cake was almost $8 and only a few bites and the slice of matcha chocolate cake was almost $14. The matcha chocolate cake tasted more like cream and chocolate than matcha. The pistachio and hojicha ice cream was tasty and a generous portion! If I were to come back I would stick with either the drinks or ice cream and skip out on the cakes.

Have been here more times than I can count. The matcha quality is consistent and tastes good in their lattes, boba, and floats. I don't usually order their fruity drinks, but if you like sweeter drinks you'll likely like them. Their hojicha is also good. You can order at the kiosk when you walk in, which helps you see which seasonal items are available, adjust the ice/milk/sugar/toppings. Service is pretty quick. The matcha crepe cake is yummy. Chilled and flavorful, not too sweet. The raindrop cake is light and looks beautiful with a sakura blossom inside. It comes with brown sugar and a soybean powder to dip make each bite flavorful. The matcha soft serve has good matcha flavor and the right amount of sweetness. The interior is bright, airy, and decorated well with natural wood elements and plants. Good spot to get some work done during the day as well with wifi and outlets. It does get crowded in the evenings. Would definitely recommend if you like matcha!

I got a matcha latte with red bean, matcha cheese mousse cake, and the chocolate crepe cake. Loved everything, especially that it wasn't too sugary. Ambiance is great but I ordered take it to go and service was awesome. Come by for a sweet treat and comforting beverage some time. You won't be disappointed!

Matcha Parfait & Ube Towel Cake

A cute, brightly lit spot for Asian inspired desserts. The matcha parfait includes corn flakes, red bean, sponge cake, and two mochi on top, offering a nice mix of textures. The towel cake is similar to a crepe cake, with layers of crepe filled with whipped cream. I found both the matcha and ube flavors to be rather underwhelming, but the desserts were still enjoyable if you're just looking for something sweet.

After ramen at kyuramen, we always stop at this matcha shop for our dessert fix! I'm a girl who is obsessed with desserts and matcha! This location is convenient and easy, they offer discount parking rate. This cafe is spacious and clean when you enter! You can order at the front or at the kiosk! They offer a variety of desserts and matcha treats. My niece got the Hojicha Latte and the matcha soft serve mix ice cream! I absolutely adore this place and I wish we had a closer location to enjoy this treat! I highly recommend stopping here! 10000000/10

Their holiday special Matcha Raspberry Crepe Cake is must try and was out of the world! The mild flavors of matcha with the sweetness from raspberry and the raspberry compote in the middle will take you on a ride! This is my fav item on their menu! Their regular matcha crepe cake is pretty good as well I didn't enjoy the Mango Crepe Cake, seemed artificial I didn't like their Ube Towel Cream, it had very subtle Ube flavor and was mostly just cream which I don't enjoy much. Also the Pistachio Basque Cheesecake was just mid.

I'm on board with the Asian dessert craze. This chain didn't really impress me. Only a single ordering kiosk greeted me, with limited and very sunny seating inside. I got a cake and a beverage, both of which delivered interesting flavors, but neither of which was very large for the price. The crepe cake was quality and not overly sweet, but overall I wasn't that satisfied for the money.

I love the matcha drinks and ice cream here, but the desserts didn't really hit this time around for me. They were good, but not amazing. The pistachio cheesecake needed a bit more flavor, but texture was decent. Love how they made the mango one look like a piece of cheese! Service was quick and I've always found their locations to be aesthetically pleasing. Will always come back for their matcha, but perhaps I'll try a different dessert next time

Basque Pistachio Cheesecake

I'll be honest--Kyo Matcha soft serve is my second choice after Matcha Maiko, which I prefer for its stronger matcha flavor. But yesterday I tried their iced matcha latte with cheese foam and I have to admit it was pretty good. The matcha flavor was noticeably lighter than the triple matcha from HeyTea, but I still enjoyed it. It tasted great with 50% sugar. The Basque cheesecake, on the other hand, was a big no. The slice we got was hard, and it honestly felt like it had been sitting there for a few days. Because of that, I had to dock a star.

Hojicha soft serve

Hojicha soft serve was thick, rich, and had lots of hojicha flavor!!! This was a great choice and I was able to sample it before purchasing The portion size is HUGE so sharing this is ideal or maybe splitting it into 2 sittings haha NOTE: free 20 min parking in the garage but you have to go through the trouble of scanning the QR code in store and entering your license plate number

Honestly, you can't go wrong here. Everything on the menu is pretty solid -- just the right amount of sweetness without going sugar crazy.

Very inconspicuous shop! I was pleasantly surprised to be able to discover more and more things…read morewhile here during the visit. First I was greeted by a customer while I was reading the outside sign on a pumpkin spicy latte, a customer that was leaving stopped and turned and explained it was everything and do good and if I have not, I must as they put actual pumpkin puree inside not just that pump pump stuff. So I was sold walking in. Next up was home made cookies making ice cream sandwich's by the front door. before I could even get through the line to the front, I was greeted with more baked goods, cupcakes, scones, macroons, dog biscuits - normal biscuits! So I went to town ordering a variety being asked by my lil and my inner child. While sipping on my now, pumpkin spiced latte from here, I saw actual meals being served and I missed out on ordering sandwiches from the back :( Something I will be coming back for! I did get up and order more things, like a fall inspired cookie ice cream sandwhich, all alone by itself in a sea of other flavors, I had to rescue it. And the sour macrons! When did that become a thing??? They were so good and perfect for our movie night later that day. I'm very happy to have stumbled across this find.

This place is interesting because they have essentially three different menus along with a bakery…read morethat I believe is open all day with a variety of interesting baked goods. They have a breakfast/brunch menu, a daytime/lunch menu, and an evening menu and you can watch them preparing items in the kitchen. You can either eat inside or outside on the patio, and they have heaters for the cooler days. We came here to get some baked goods mid-afternoon and they still had a good selection. The bear claw was large and tasty with an enjoyable cinnamon flavor and the lemon meringue croissant was unique and enjoyable as I'd never had a croissant with lemon meringue filing. They weren't cheap but they were tasty and enjoyable. I did want to mention they have parking but it's hit or miss on getting a spot since it can get crowded so walking might be easiest if you live nearby. I'll come back here again for a meal and to try some other items on their menu.

I really wanted to love this place…read more My family and I chose to come here for Easter because it's dog-friendly -- which felt like the perfect combination for us. They even have a dog menu, and the patio setup is honestly beautiful. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and aesthetically on point. The staff greets you right away, and first impressions were genuinely great. We chose to sit outside on the balcony so my puppy could join us, and that space alone is worth noting -- fire pits going, cozy atmosphere, just really well done. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We ordered food for all of us, including my daughter and my puppy. My food and my puppy's food came out fairly quickly, but my daughter's meal never arrived. After waiting quite a while, I had to flag down the waiter, only to be told -- after the fact -- that they didn't even have what she ordered. At no point before that did anyone communicate this. So now she has to reorder, and we're waiting all over again while the rest of us are already eating. When her food finally arrives, there's no silverware. Just... dropped off with no thought to the fact that she actually needed utensils to eat. We also ordered lemonade, which was great -- but when the waiter offered to bring more after the issues, it never came. To try and make up for things, they brought out a dessert that looked beautiful, but when we asked what was in it (due to food sensitivities), the waiter had no idea. He eventually came back with an allergy sheet, which felt like an afterthought rather than informed service. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead, the waiter told me, "I just got out of trouble -- what can I do to make this right?" That response alone was incredibly off-putting and unprofessional. We ultimately just had my daughter's meal removed from the bill and decided to move on. Even my puppy's waffles -- which was one of the things we were most excited about -- came out slightly burnt. Overall, the lack of communication, poor follow-through, and disorganized service completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience. It's disappointing because the space and concept have so much potential. Unfortunately, I can't overlook the service issues.
