TLDR: I would not recommend getting anything cleaned that you care, because if it gets damaged you at best will get the price your dry cleaning cost or a store credit. Customer service is none existent when something goes wrong and you will need to jump through hoops to talk to the manager. Two and a half weeks ago my mother dropped off a few of my Indian ethnic outfits. As can be assumed by the one star review, one of my trousers was completely ruined. I originally spent close to 100 dollars on the garment itself not including shipping from India. When my mother went to pick up the clothes they originally just gave them all to her without admitting that they were damaged, had she not personally checked each item we would have not even known until it was time for me to wear it. The employ at the front desk informed her that she could not do anything without the manager, who apparently only is in less then 3 hours a day, a few days a week. I called last week to ask if the manager was in but she wasn't and was told she would be in on last Monday before 9. I finally had time this morning and called and asked if the manager was in. The receptionist had a very passive aggressive tone while she told me that the manager had been waiting for me to come in the past few weeks. I was also told to bring in the matching top of my trousers before 10 am. I went in and saw my trousers which had discolored all over, with one leg being much lighter and the fabric becoming "crunchy". The manager informed me that she could only refund me the original fee of eleven dollars or she could provide a store credit of 50 dollars. When I would try to say something she would simply say that that the shop took "no guarantee on ethnic Indian clothing", she kept pointing to the embroidery on the top and saying that they can't be responsible if it falls off, even thought the top was perfectly intact and that isn't something that's told to the consumer when the items are dropped off. She also told me that providing the 50 dollar store credit is the most "they" allow her to do. I asked her if there is an owner that I could take to and she claimed she is the owner. Honestly this experience has left a really bad taste and I really don't appreciate the dishonesty about passing along a damaged garment or claiming to be the owner even when you have a boss who I would have rather talked to. read more

This place is just straight up awful. I came in to drop off my mom's dresses to have them dry cleaned and when I came back couple days later, it was missing an item. Notified the clerks about it and when she did find it, she said that I needed to pay an extra fee because she didn't charge for it at the time when I dropped them off, which is fine because all I wanted was the dress back. What I did recall was her non-stop chitchat with her other coworker that side tracked her from counting my dressed properly. Another happenstance was when my mom dropped off her CH ball gown that she was going to wear for a party. Took it in for dry cleaning and when she got it back, they put pins through the dress. Park Avenue Cleaners in Tracy, CA does not honor coupons that are valid through 2/25/2022. I went there today 1/22/2022 at approximately 2pm to have 11 shirts laundered. They said prices increased and would not honor the coupon price that clearly stated it was valid through 2/25/22. They wanted to charge me 66.67% more than the coupon price per shirt. They are worse than car dealerships with bate and switch practices. BTW, Park Avenue Cleaners have done this more than once to my mom and myself. This time I wanted to let current/prospective customers know their tactics. Also, to make sure the shirts are thoroughly laundered and spots removed properly, I launder the shirts first before dropping them off at the cleaners. I took my pants in on Tuesday (7/9/19) morning for cleaning and alterations. I told the employee that I needed the pants on Thursday (7/11/19) for work. I was assured that the pants would be ready. Thursday morning I stopped by to pick up my pants only to be told they are not ready. I was instructed to call back around 1:00 pm. I called back at 1:15 pm I was told the pants were not ready call back at 4:00 pm. As instructed I called back at 4:00 pm. I was then told the pants aren't ready they would be in on Friday 7/12/19. The pants are in their Manteca location. I spoke with the Manteca store only to be told there wasn't anyone to bring my pants back to Tracy. I was then asked to drive to Manteca to pick up my pants. I had my family pick up my pants in Tracy. The alterations were done the pants were not cleaned. They charged me $16.00 dollars for some sloppy repairs without any cleaning. I was refunded $3.50 they had the nerve to ask if I we wanted to apply that money to my account for future work. My family asked them to remove my name from their mailing list. I will NOT recommend Park Avenue Cleaners to anyone. I took a very nice sweater and the buttons were melted and white dressy pants that had burnt marks on them with a tag attached that read "Special attention had been given to this garment but the SPOTS or STAINS cannot be removed without causing damage to the color or material". First of all the white dressy pants had NO stains on the pants when I took them to be cleaned and the buttons on the sweater were NOT melted. I had to take my faja garment in to get tailored. I had originally asked for 2 inches to be taken in at the waist at each side but they recommended to start off with 1 1/2 inches in instead and I'm so glad I listened. It only cost me about $22 to get it tailored and they had it done in about a week. The price was really good and turn around was quite quick as well. A tee shirt I purchased was too long so I took it here to have them take 2 inches off. Paid $15 for the alteration. when I got home (I don't live but visit relatives in California) I noticed they didn't alter my shirt but did wrap it in plastic and place it a hanger. it looked really nice. So I was back in Tracy for a visit and took the shirt back to them and explained to the girl at the counter that the work I paid for was never performed. she stated she would talk to manager and I should receive a call back the next day. Several days later, the manager called and said they couldn't do the alteration for free and I would have to pay an additional $7.50. I said absolutely not. I've already paid for the service. she claimed the company policy was any issues were to be handled within 30 days. I explained I live 3000 miles away but this didn't matter to her. So I picked up my shirt wrapped in plastic and placed on a hanger. Again, it looked really nice. I asked if it was altered and she looked at me and said no with a smirk. I gave them 1 star because the shirt looked real nice wrapped in plastic on a hanger. I have informed my relatives to pass the word around town, to not patronize this dry cleaner. Took my 2 foot by 7 foot area rug in to get clean I was quoted $40. I think these people just make up prices as they go the red cost more to clean than it did to buy a brand new one. Every time I come in here the prices are always different depending on who helps you I think there should be a set price listed on a board for certain things so you know you're not getting ripped off. I used to bring all my dry clean to this place had a bad experience the last time I brought in five small pillows to get clean and that cost me $30 after this experience I won't be coming back outrageous. read more

Took in a dress to get pressed, I asked the cost and was quoted $20 from the lady at the front counter. The woman behind her pulled her away and told her to charge $40 as I was providing my info for the order. I asked why did the price double after she pulled the other employee aside and she said that wasn't the real price. I asked if since that was the price I was quoted initially would they honor it. She said NO. Well they lost a customer, poor customer service (if you want to call it that) and very bad attitude. You don't change the price in the middle of a transaction. Took 5 shirts to get dry cleaned. Picked them up the next day and wore one to a job interview. Next think I know, bottom edges of the shirts are all crinkled. Shoulder is still winkled like it was the first day I brought them in. I showed my grandma who worked at the cleaners most of her life (in San Leandro) and she was like ah hell no. Took some sports school uniform shirts in and these shirt were heavily damaged because tjeybwere not properly stored. They did a much better job than I thought I they would... I would have to agree with most people who did not like the service here. I read the reviews before I went, giving Park Avenue Cleaners the benefit of doubt. I should have listened the reviews. I went back to pick up my items, only to find they lost my pants. Shortly tjeu found it stuck somewhere on the railing. I had to come back the next day to pick up the pants because they needed to be cleaned again. I spoke with a different lady and she had no idea what I was talking had to wait for someone else to help me. Giving Park Avenue Cleaners a second chance. I needed my blouses to be military pressed and I specifically specified for the pockets to be pressed. When I got home, of course what I needed the most to be done, they did not do. It was Saturday near closing time and they are not open on Sunday, in additon to that I needed this for Monday. I called them right away and gave my customer dissatisfaction compliant. The lady said that I can bring in, but will be charged again because I wore it. This defanitely put me in "I must write a review.," mood. I was not happy at alll! I explained the situation again, that what I wanted done wasn't done, and I cannot bring it on on Monday because I needed it for Monday - Friday, that's why I came in on Saturday to get the blouses pressed. So why is that I need to pay again for a service I arlready paid for and didn't receive it. Finally the lady said she will redo it after a 15 min compliant. They said for me to bring it back this Saturday, but I won't be going back. I would have loved coming here since it's right by my house. Tracyites!!! Worst dry cleaning ever. I've tried this place one too many times. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and thought it may have been an unremovable stain. The second time I needed a few items, cleaned and pressed. 3 shirts,vest, and a pair of pants. The day of my party I'm getting the items I need and look at the pants and see crusty food spots on them. It seemed they didn't even clean the pants, or the vest! I look at some of the other items and just poor poor service all around. Terrible ironing because I will definitely have to iron before I wear any of the items, fairly new white shirts have the little bit of dirts and oils from the skin around the collar and sleeves. I'm not a huge yelper, this actually may be my first review, I enjoy it though when making food decisions apparently I need to take advantage of the other services. This is the best dry cleaners i have ever been to.At first i was a bit skeptical looking at the bad reviews but the internet is a place for any crazy person to write a reveiw.I myself personally bring in 20-30 pieces a week and have never had an issue.They are reliable and best of all there prices are very reasonable compared to any other dry-cleaners and the quality of there work.One prime example I have of this place being reliable was when I did not have any clean clothing for my funeral the next day and came in and they proceeded to take my clothes and give them at my desired time.100% would recommend all tracy residents to come here read more

I have tried really hard to get them to fix their mistake but they refused to correct their error. Said I can pay again for them to do what they should have done in the first place. Quick service, I've only had friendly service, there has been an issue where I needed a repair to a pair of pants and it took them three times to correctly repair the pants, but they took the pants back and made sure I was satisfied. The prices are reasonable and usually have a 24 hour turn around. I've been to a few places in Tracy but haven't had the need to look elsewhere since I've been going to Park Avenue Cleaners. I have been going for years to Park Avenue Cleaners never had an issue until last week when I brought in 10 Tommy Bahama silk shirts. They wanted to charge me an additional fee because they were Tommy Bahama and not a normal dry-clean shirt. They stated that Tommy Bahama were shirts are more delicate, I told them they have been cleaning the shirts for years and never charged an additional fee.
