This is a classic case of "Do not judge the book by its cover". We went there on a Sunday afternoon on the day of a 5K race near Centennial park. It is very close to Centennial park, CNN, Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola. We were contemplating whether we should go or not since the outside looked like a small shady bar but this lady outside raved about the burgers so much that we went inside to give it a try. Here is the summary of our experience: Ambiance 5/5: From the outside, it looks small and shady but once you are inside, the ambiance is peppy and vibrant like a cool hipster sports bar. A good place to hang out with friends on a game night Service5/5: Although initially, it was slow, the servers were really sweet and helpful. Food 3.5/5: I did not order their most famous burger since I do not eat beef. Here is what we ordered: 1. Fried chicken burger: Come with a side. I did not like the fact that they charge you extra for your toppings and even the sauce. Frankly I like the burner but did not love it. we ordered potato tots which were good in portion size 2. Grilled chicken burger: This is the first time, I like a grilled chicken burger more than a fried chicken burger. The burger buns were soggy. The french fries portion was really good and came in hot. The buffalo hot sauce is really not very hot (As per Indian standards :) ) PS: Burgers only come with a free add on of tomatoes and lettuce Value for money 4/5: Overall we spent $25 for the burger and a side which does not look bad but this was since we only had one add on each. If you put in the add ons, it might quickly add up so definitely not a pocket friendly burger In all, I would recommend this place for a great night with friends and not for a pocket friendly meal. read more

Every time we get a chance to be in downtown Atlanta we go to Park Bar. Honestly, the food is great, but I dont even pay it much attention. Im always more interested in the 3 shots for the price of 2 in 1 cup. And then spend $50 and you can spin this silly wheel that has options for shots or money off your bill. We got $20 off last time we were there but once we got Jager bombs and then someone got a round of shots for the bar. If you like to drink, just go here. Great service. Great environment. We really enjoyed this place. Limited seating and got busy, but we snagged a table for our large group before the rush. They had a cider on draft so I was happy. The atmosphere was good but a bit crowded, and I was slipping out of the high table chairs. Wish we sat in a normal table. They have a monthly burger which we tried (Oktoberfest) and it was so good with its pimento cheese and cheese curds, wow! The food was great. I've visited Park Bar off and on over the years and now that I'm going to Hawks games regularly, it has become my go-to stop to have a drink and a snack before the games. I love the 3-in-1 drink cup, and an order of hotzarella cheese sticks. If I'm feeling fancy or a little chubbs, I'll have the Piedmont salad. I've never had a food item that was terrible, so I don't think you can go wrong. The food isn't fancy, but it's solid and you won't have any disappointing surprises. Service is fast and easy-going. Be ready to order and let them keep it moving. If you wait to go after an event, be prepared for the crowd. Park Bar is a favorite and finding a seat in the later hours won't be easy. Food was okay only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the staff is so nasty. Bella was mediocre and acted annoyed by our presence. Chumming it up with a bunch of doofy white guys at a cocktail table. Bartender was loudly talking smack about Beyoncé as the other servers chimed in. Little girls in Beyoncé outfits and adults super excited to see the show could very obviously hear them talking badly about the musician. This place rubbed all of us the wrong way! cheers to your bad attitude staff. The only nice person in this entire vicinity was the bar back who doubles as a paralegal. Give that man a raise. Neighborhood bar/restaurant right across the street from Centennial Park. We had a pulled pork sandwich and a fried chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. Prices were very reasonable...like $14 each. Cocktails, well, lets just say, a very good pour and about $7 per. Best part, if you spend $50 you get to spin the wheel of happiness (which is pictured above). Very good vibe. Sports on TV. After a late Candlelight event in the downtown area my husband and I wanted something to eat but it was after 10pm and very few places were open. Park bar was up the street and closed at midnight. We parked in a parking lot next to the restaurant and paid at the pay station. The restaurant was smallish and had a neighborhood type feel. We were greeted by a gregarious bartender upon sitting at the bar and I ordered drink They had an extensive liquor menu which was quite impressive and awesome drink specials. I had the Plume and Petal Vodka with tonic, not a liquor I was familiar with but I enjoyed my drink. Due to not being familiar with the quality of the food we kept it safe and ordered burgers and fries. I had the Turkey burger which was fresh made clearly not a frozen patty and it was huge. My husband had a beef burger and his was also freshly made. We both enjoyed our burgers and the fries were decent. Overall we had a nice experience at Park bar. I decided not to eat here, it didn't look or smell very clean. But I can't speak to service or food.

Terrible service at the bar. Wasn't greeted and sat for 13 mins. I eventually left because I was ignored and the people behind me were getting served while I sat at the bar without any type of greeting. I understand high volume bars because I've worked at plenty but the fact that I couldn't even get a simple "Hello, I'll be with you shortly." is just sad. read more

They don't even engage in conversation but fills entitled to a 20% tip. The Park Bar did not come to play--this place seriously delivered. We popped in for a casual bite and ended up raving the whole ride home. Let's start with the food. My husband went all-in on the Blu Bison Burger and barely came up for air. That thing disappeared fast--juicy, flavorful, cooked just right. My mother-in-law ordered the black bean veggie burger and I am not exaggerating when I say she declared it "the best veggie burger of her entire life." Her words, not mine. And listen--this woman knows her way around a veggie burger, so that's saying something. I did the build-your-own burger and let me tell you, it was a moment. Perfectly cooked, toppings exactly how I wanted them, and just overall chef's kiss. But the real MVP? Taryn, our waitress. An absolute gem. Attentive without hovering, totally on top of everything, and somehow made us feel like we were her only table. She's the kind of person who makes a good meal great. Park bar is a smallish bar and American food establishment located directly in the heart of downtown Atlanta where centennial Olympic park is at. Me and my buddies were down in the area for a weekend getaway to watch our Louisville cardinals play in a football game at the Mercedes benz stadium. This was the night before the game but we had a pre game tail gate at nearby tabernacle so we stayed in area to grab a drink and eat. Place was super crowded and full of other hyped up cards fan that gave it a boisterous vibe. We snuck into 3 seats at that end of the bar. There was 3 bartenders in our area. One who did all the works. One who was a disgruntled veteran and one who was hoping to coast by on her looks. Hate to say that but it was obvious. To the lady who did all the work she was fabulous and made this a good time for us. I personally got a bbq bacon cheeseburger with a side of tots. The tots they gave me was a massive portion. The burger was solid. About on par for bar food. So no big complaints. My cousin and buddy got wings and liked them. The cousin got a triple shot of michters and coke and they poured it heavy and in a huge Souvenir cup that had him feeling quite well. The hard working bar tender hooked us up here. Overall it was a neat place with a happening vibe. I may have this rated lower then my buddies because me being the smaller guy I was placed on the very end corner of the bar and had waitresses and patrons over my shoulder and in my ear hole constantly. I came to Park Bar on a late afternoon and this is a nice place downtown to grab a bite to eat before going to a Hawks or Falcons game. Situated right next to Margaritaville, the place gives you the neighborhood bar feel. The staff was welcoming and extremely nice. The food was outstanding. The majority of us ordered the build your own burger and everything was excellent. The bourbon bacon jam on the fried chicken sandwich stole the show. It was phenomenal. Great spot in Downtown Atlanta! We were in town for a conference and came here for dinner. It was pretty busy for a week night and was seat yourself. Thankfully, a table opened up fairly quickly for us. We had a tasty meal! We had the app sampler, burger and a two chicken sandwiches at our table. The food was really good. The service was friendly and timely. Despite how busy the restaurant was, we didn't feel rushed at all; plenty of time to relax and enjoy our meal. Great menu selection too. Nope- not having it. Maybe this isn't the right channel to share this, but I am extremely disappointed that you are advertised as open until midnight and you shut the doors at 11:30 PM. I have been working an event all day and I left another event just to get food because I was starving and as I got there after walking half a mile, the door was locked.
