I will say if you ask to split a burger they do a great job of bringing it out split and I feel like they don't cheat you on fries. The parking situation isn't great that's why I will say go before an event because the service is also great and will have you in and out pretty quick. Not too bad. The Candler salad was delish. Yes I would order it again. A large portion of mixed greens tossed in sweet but spicy sauce. Service was kinda slow. Very loud music playing. Right on the edge of Centennial Park so it can get busy w/tourists I'm sure. If visiting ATL it's an ok place. Wings were sweet and spicy. Someone in our party started passing them around. This was a decent sports bar stop on our way to a concert at the Tabernacle. Clearly popular with the locals! We loved being able to seat ourselves. The triple shot deal with a souvenir cup was great - a nice bang for your buck! You could tell the staff is constantly hustling. Service was quick and short, but I didn't mind too much. We were visiting the Olympic park and ferries wheel , and it was so hot that we had to take a break. Wanted to have a quick drink and found this bar pretty close .. it was a weekday .. and so , it was pretty much empty. There is a nice bar at the entrance and lots of tables to sit all through. Lots of space. We got a quick and courteous service .. they had few IPAs on the tap and we had a citrus ipa .. it was so so good . The mock tail was also good .. wings was good. . We weren't looking for Park Bar, it found us! We were looking to grab some casual food and in our wanderings near our hotel, we stumbled on this homey corner restaurant. Being the eve of the 2023 Peach Bowl, the place was jumping and crowded with enthusiastic fans! After standing and taking it all in for about 10 minutes, we got invited to a large table of mostly Ole Miss fans. Everyone, including our server (who was very overwhelmed) was pleasant and friendly. My wife and I split a bison burger with cheddar cheese and caramelized onion; we also ordered a Piedmont salad and some chicken wings with chili sauce. We all agreed that the burger was very flavorful; the onions were sautéed, not a true caramelized effort, but nice just the same. The salad consisted mainly of shaved Brussels sprouts, cranberries, walnuts, and blue cheese. A real winner! I'm not a wing man, but I ate about half the large order; The wings were meaty, not too large, and the sauce had just the right spiciness. All in all, Park Bar seems like an okay place for some decent food, a fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices. read more

I came here for lunch with about 30 of my coworkers. A reservation was made so they knew in advance that we'd be coming. We were seated on the top floor of the restaurant which was nice because we were the only ones up there. Almost everything on the menu looked sooo delicious but I had limited options due to dietary restrictions. I ended up settling for the Morning Side Burger in a lettuce wrap instead of the bread with a side of fries. The food took a while to come out. Some of my coworkers were actually done eating before my portion of the group actually got our food. Despite the wait, I really enjoyed the burger. The fries however were a little salty and and a tad soggy as well but that didn't stop me from eating them. We also were able to try out the appetizer sampler and my favorite was the spicy mozzarella sticks. I really love the location of this restaurant and the decor inside was nice and quaint. I'd definitely return again to try some of the other options on the menu but I'll come with a much smaller group next time. read more

I found this local burger bar on a whim as I was searching for places to eat nearby DragonCon. I feel like I struck gold with this treasure find with some thanks to Yelp! Park Bar is located about a block away from the big ferris wheel in Atlanta near Centennial Park. It definitely has the feel of a bar and pub. There is a wheel that you get to spin if you order more than $50 with prizes such as BOGO. Unfortunately, I did not come for the drinks but for the burgers. Park Bar has about 5 or 6 different, crafted burgers. Each burger has an unique topping. I couldn't decide on which one I wanted. Thankfully, Park Bar had the answer to my dilemma. I could build my own! I chose chipotle bison meat with pimento cheese, housemade bbq sauce, caramelized onions, and bourbon bacon jam. The burger came with lettuce and tomato on it, which was a waste of space. This burger was juicy and spicy. The homemade BBQ sauce was more spicy than sweet. The Bourbon bacon jam was an unique topping for the burger that I wonder how did I live my life without it for so long. Park Bar had helped me craft an amazing burger. My fries were good but not hand-cut. I believe they serve that abomination known as Gold Peak sweet tea. I was so thirsty, it did not matter. The tea was in a picture and not out of a mixer. So I am not sure but I won't hold it against them. The only other item I tried was the hotzarella sticks. Jalepeno was infused in the batter and it was a little much. We were in town for Bucs Falcons game and were looking for a good bite to eat close to our hotel l. I saw good reviews for the Park Bar. Had a couple of really good burgers but the Buffalo wings stole the show. Top 3 wings ever for me. So good in fact we went back the following day after the game. Great staff everyone was friendly. My experience at the Park Bar was quite the mixed bag. Walking in, I was greeted by customers leaving shouting loud complaints about waiting for a long time with no service whatsoever. Never one to take a place for a single review, I proceeded to try find a seat. Unfortunately the Falcons were playing that day and without a host or hostess, I was left to walk the restaurant until a table opened up. Expecting poor service, I watched the clock as it took about 10 minutes before I was engaged and about 20 minutes from sitting before my order was taken. Which, in my opinion, isn't really that bad at all, especially during an event. My food came back less than ten minutes after I had ordered. After one bite, I understood the high reviews I had seen for the place. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy and the tots were crispy but not overcooked. They certainly know how to cook. Overall, I don't think this place is deserving of the hype. The food is good, but the service is mediocre at best. On a busy day, I'd probably go somewhere else. read more

I was craving a burger while at work and I looked up some places in walking distance. Park Bar was nearby and had 4.5 stars on Google so I decided to go here. I've walked by this place many times so I gave it a try. I ordered online and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. I had the Cumberland Burger to-go and I destroyed it. The Bourbon bacon jam was slightly sweet and paired perfectly with the melted Brie. I LOVE Brie so this burger hit the spot. I got onion rings on the side and they were still crunchy, which is a plus. I might go there after work one day to have a drink and relax with a good meal.
