I've been using Park Optometry for a few years now and have consistently had great interactions with their office. I usually see Dr. Choo, and she's awesome! Since she wasn't available for the day I wanted my exam (I called fairly last minute,) I scheduled with Dr. Park instead. He seems knowledgeable and thorough as well. It took till my 50's before I needed more than cheaters, when I decided to use contacts to improve my vision, Park Optometry located next door to my office was a great location. More important then being conveniently located, Dr. Park and his staff truly feel like neighbors, they are professional, the office is organized and clean. Getting an appointment with them was speedy! I also love how they are open on Saturdays. Makes things easy for me since I work M-F 9-5. The exam itself was thorough, and I felt like Dr. Park took his time with me and was incredibly knowledgeable. When it came to deciding whether or not I wanted contacts or a new pair of glasses, the receptionist walked me through my insurance and told me how to benefit the most out of it. I REALLY appreciated that! Thank you! Also, they have high-end lenses and low-end lenses. I normally wear contacts, so I try not to splurge on glasses. The staff is very friendly. They take really good care of you and do a good job at explaining everything from the condition of your eyes to the exact cost of lenses and frames. Dr. Chu is awesome. However the staff is very pushy to make a purchase. I've been a patient for 3 years. The gentleman with the accent is very rude and has ZERO customer service. I brought my glasses in to get a new screw as my arm of my glasses came off. With his rudeness tune, he informed me he was going to charge me $10! These are glasses that I spent a lot of money on at their office. I will NO longer be a patient of theirs because of this man. VERY VERY RUDE! read more

I've never had an eye doctor deny an order online because it wasn't the specific brand they fitted me for. I typically get a year long prescription for a strength and can order any brand online from any company and they verify it. An order for contacts from Walgreens was denied online and I called today and am still waiting to hear back - they said if I wanted a different brand I'd have to come in for another fitting (ie. Pay for another exam even though they're only required annually). Last time I tried to order contacts, they fought me on ordering them through my work insurance vs directly through them. I will run out of contacts soon, no longer live in state and therefore have to pay for another exam before the annual requirement if I don't come in for another fitting for a different brand. I've worn glasses/contacts for 25 years and this has never happened. Avoid! read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Park and his staff (see botton line for the quick and dirty synopsis). I broke my only pair of glasses and I needed to get a quick contact lens prescription before leaving on a trip back east. I called and Josh was very helpful in getting me in the same day (tuesday at 10:15 am). When I got in the office was unremarkable and I was one of two people in the lobby. The paperwork was minimal and it was in the exam rooms within 10 minutes of arriving. There were the standard examinations like the "puff of air in the eye", peripheral vision tests etc... and also a few others which I've never seen before. They seemed to be very thorough and I am very statified with the examination. Dr. Park was a very enjoyable person who was able to explain things along the way. I work in mediciine and he was ready and willing to answer any of my more clinically oriented questions. He was able to give me a trial pair of contacts that were the exact same as my previous precription so that is why he gets five stars. Bottom line: knowledgable doc, great service, friendly staff, no pressure sales, given copy of prescriptions after asking for it. No comment on prices as I was in a pinch and didn't take the time to shop around but overall they got me what I needed and I was very satisfied. read more

From the first time I called to make an appointment, I was very pleased with the experience. The staff is helpful, welcoming, courteous and professional. I took my 8 year old daughter for an appointment as well and it was just as pleasant. Would recommend this practice highly for adults and kids alike. I brought my daughter in to see Dr. Park for her very first pair of glasses. I was nervous because I chose this office based on location, and I am a very protective mom. I am pleased to say that we had a great experience from start to finish. I have worn glasses for 27 years, and this was the best eye doctor experience I have ever had. From the initial phone call to make the appointment, to the reminder call, to the eye exam and glasses selection, I was very happy with how nice and professional everyone was. My 8 year old is very inquisitive, and everyone was so patient and willing to answer all of her questions. I will now use this office for my own eye exams and glasses as well.
