Ford wants to charge me additional money to continue security features that were sold as if they were coming included on my 2026 F250. I asked Lithia Ford to get in touch with the district representative from Ford to express my concern over this, I shouldn't be paying subscription pricing for a feature that was included with my truck. Lithia has so far not taken the initiative, and tells me I should contact a call center that hasn't been helpful to this point. So I'm very disappointed in Ford, and I think the dealership oughta take ownership when Ford Motor Company makes dumb corporate decisions. Also, it has recently come to my attention that my Ford F250 may be tracking my every movement and reporting it back in a data feed to FORWARD that Ford may be selling to third parties.. The Internet is loaded with stories about the truck doing this through its communication module. I've never given Ford permission to track my movements, will never knowingly give them permission to sell this data, and this is causing the additional concern. I shouldn't spend nearly $100,000 on a truck and find that I don't really own all of its included features listed on the window sticker. So I expect that Lithia Ford should act on my behalf as my channel to Ford's executive management, since the Ford call centers are completely inept at dealing with questions like this.

There were some things needing to still be fixed on it that they said were already fixed but weren't. At first Ryan was great about promising to get them fixed and make it right. But that is as far as it went. He directed us to multiple shops to get things fixed but NOTHING was or has been fixed still to this day on that car, 6 months later and promise after promise. Sad part is that because he seemed so nice and easy to work with we thought we would have him and his shop work on my daughters Mercedes as well. She needed a back driver side door fixed that some children had broken the leaver to open it. We took it in, told them the issue it all seemed fine. We go back to pick it up and they said......Oh we fixed the broken back window....we were like what the window wasn't broken.....They froze pretty much at that point knowing they had done the wrong thing to the wrong car. Instead of fixing the back driver side door. They supposedly fixed the back driver side window and took apart the driver's door and in the process broke that door!! And to add salt to that he wanted my daughter to pay for having that door fixed and it wasn't broken to begin with so that he could reorder the part to really fix it now and try to fix the back door as well. 4 shops later $400 dollars spent on our side the Mercedes front door is still broken, the back door is now fixed there never was anything wrong with the window and his shop ruined the secondary air compressor which we now need to replace at a cost of $600.00 AND THE BMW STILL HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED and since it won't work now 6 months later he is refusing to even fix the things we have in writing that he was going to fix as part of the deal and he won't take the car back and give my daughter her money back so now she's out that second car and $9000.00 dollars for it. Seriously DO NOT shop his lot and if he states he or his shop will fix anything run because it will end up costing you more than the original repair would have with a reputable shop to begin with. I'm really not happy Ryan and I think the way you treated my daughter because she was young was really a crappy thing to do. I honestly hope no one ever treats your children as poorly as you treated mine.

Better yet if you're going to buy a Toyota go to Edmark. I'm genuinely so sad to be leaving a bad review for this dealership. Our salesman (who has since retired) was great to work with. My disappointment started when I was told the car would be cleaned before the sale was finished, when we got the keys and started moving cars I noticed the car either hadn't been cleaned or who ever does the cleaning for them absolutely sucks. After a few weeks of having the car we drove it up to McCall area for the first time. Coming down the hill the car began to violently shutter when the breaks were being applied. So much so it scared me and my kids, we immediately schedule for the car to be taken into the service department. We were told that the rotors were so warped they could not be fix and we needed a full replacement of the rotors and pads. When we explained to the service department we had just purchased the car they referred us to the sales department. My husband did a majority of the talking with them, he explained the situation and hoped the sales manager would have some constructive advice or be helpful in some way. Boy was he wrong. Aaron the sales manager sent an email to my husband suggesting that WE had damaged the rotors to this extend and that the rotors were fine when we purchased the car. I went down to speak with Aaron and he said the same thing, I even asked "are you suggesting the rotors were fine when we purchased the car?" he said yes. He informed me they just go off what the service department says and sent me that way. The "service" department is nothing far from a joke. They gave me the run around and suggested that because he waved the diagnostic fee "since you just got the car" that he was doing me a favor. I fully understand the rotors being warped can't be visually seen but to suggest I did this to the car in less than 30 days and 1,000 miles was absolutely rude. Then he follows it up with offering me a free car wash... I learned 30 days ago they can't wash cars so why the hell would I bring my car back here?! Especially after the insulted me saying I did this damage. Honestly I've heard things about the service department here before but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt... don't do that! Based on this interaction I'm not even convinced the rotors were that bad and now I'll be stuck wondering if I had taken them to a reputable place would they have reshaped them?

My daughter called me to tell me that she was going to see a car at Auto Star Motors and her appointment was with Steve. My "Spidey Sense" was tingling and I was on a Star Trek "Red Alert". I did a Google search, followed by some review of the model and make on Kelly Blue Book, then to Car Fax. I was prepared for the showdown. We arrived on time and let Steve finish with his previous appointment. The office is clean, neat, professional looking. We didn't get that sleazy used car dealer feeling which was a positive first impression. The car, a Subaru Crosstrek looked good and we took it for a drive in the chilly December evening. I talked to my daughter and asked what type of down payment was she going to propose. She had a plan but I was still on the defense. So many stories of customers getting screwed from used cars dealers and I have had my own personal experiences with my brother in law right here in Boise. We get back and it's time for 'Let's make a deal' The good news is that the car looked and performed well. The car fax info matched what I saw online earlier and the price was good. My daughter's trade in was on its last two wheels but Steve wanted to check it out and after his test drive, I was thankful he was still alive. He was more than up front and generous with trade in value of her car and she had some cash to put down. While I was feeling a little better about Auto Star Motors and Steve, I wasn't completely convinced. I showed Steve some of the Yelp reviews and I wanted him to provide some context. He was very transparent throughout which I appreciated. It was at that point that I told my daughter that even though I was feeling better about this whole process that she would wait until she had some more money for a down payment. I explained to Steve why I felt that and my overall concern for my daughter. It was at this point that we talked like two Dads sitting at a coffee shop. He was open, genuine and reassuring. Not once did I feel that we were getting bamboozled. I relayed my concerns and trepidations and Steve was receptive and made the efforts to understand my concerns and assured me that my daughter would be taken care of. I went home to get to the title for her jalopy aka death trip and returned back at the office. The financing was done through Capital One and my daughter knows that if she has any issues she can bring the car back to Steve and his team at Auto Star I purposely waiting to do this review almost 30 days to see how the car performs and to make sure that there weren't any issues. I'm glad to report that there hasn't been a single issue with the car or with Auto Star Motors. The experience with Steve was not a battle that I prepared for but instead was two guys who had a common goal of making sure that my daughter was safe and not getting a bad deal. Thanks Steve for making my daughter's first car shopping experience a positive one. You earned the 5 Stars.

Even after signing financing and essentially completing the purchase, the out of state dealer changed the trade agreement and failed to follow through, leaving our deal hanging. That's when I connected with Brandon and Sarah at Peterson Chevrolet. From the start, they were transparent, responsive, and incredibly helpful in explaining what was actually going on behind the scenes. More importantly, they stepped in and helped move things forward--working with my local dealer to reach a fair dealer trade agreement that should have been handled properly from the beginning. They took initiative where others didn't, and ultimately helped save a deal that had been in progress for weeks. What stood out most was their integrity. Peterson Chevrolet had very little to gain from this situation, yet they still advocated for a fair outcome and agreed to take in a vehicle that wasn't necessarily in high demand just to make the deal work. That level of professionalism and good faith is rare. While I didn't end up purchasing directly from them, I wouldn't hesitate to do so in the future. I'm incredibly grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend Brandon, Sarah, and the team at Peterson Chevrolet to anyone willing to make the trip to Idaho.

I traded in a near perfect 2021 car that was paid off for a pos truck. $15,000 down from the car and paying $758.31 for something falling apart little by little. I bought this truck brand new and have been going continuously in fixing issues. Rattling in the steering column (went two times and they said nothing was wrong got in the truck and the music was blaring loud so no wonder they couldn't hear the rattle (i don't listen to music when i drive) the third time i go in they had my drive with a tech by me and he heard it and fixed it) , skip button on the steering wheel not working (replaced once not working again), the charging dock in the middle in the front doesn't work and they told me (every brand that has that all the charging docks don't actually work) like WHAT?!? i had to have my front fender replaced and when i got there they checked me in then after like 15 min of waiting they came out and said the part was never ordered. So had to come back another day to get it replaced. The dash camera had multiple issues wasn't recording wasn't turning on and wouldn't connect to my phone to access recordings. Also DO NOT BUY THEIR DASH-CAM THEY HAVE BY STINGER. Took the dealership over a year to fix it and today scratched the window. Denied it was them (i live alone no dogs nothing has ever been the in the backseat not even people. The damn seatbelts haven't even been buckled before). They said video shows them not on that side (it was scratched on the inside of the window and they have to remove the headliner to install the dash camera and that covers the whole cab. They also had an AI bot text me after submitting a complaint to the GM (didn't ever say it was AI and was trying to problem solve) and offered multiple solutions i scheduled an appointment to talk to the GM and come up with a solution then they get on there saying it was AI and they cant offer those solutions and the appointment wouldn't work because the GM wasn't there and hadn't even been notified of my complaint yet.Very inconsiderate of your customers experience.

Supposed to mean customer service, not just service on the automobile. I give them three stars because they did make the effort to get me a loaner a few times. Some of the seating components had been taken off and left in my console as well. I had to go back to have them put the pieces back in place. The third time I took the car in, I was treated with disdain by the service advisor when I stated that my three-year old car shouldn't have a rattle. The little jerk actually laughed at me after making excuses about how they have trucks full of brand new cars with various noises and issues that are difficult to diagnose. Was he telling me Mazda is inferior product? I had made a recording of the rattle they "couldn't reproduce" and sent it to my previous service advisor. She never acknowledged it. I asked if I could show the recording to someone else since the previous service advisor hadn't returned my last two texts and one voice mail. He smirked and referred me to the service manager. When I called the service manager's number, I got either a busy signal or a tone that sounded like a fax machine. I called the main number and left a message (they don't answer the phone much) and THEN he called me back. The regional manager is only available by email What kind of service is this?
