Recently we have noticed a 'gnat' issue that really needs to be addressed. During our meal we killed a couple of the little buggers, but several more were there to take their place immediately. An occasional gnat is one thing, but when they interrupt the entire meal, that is excessive and needs to be addressed. We will be back, but we hope this gets addressed- ***Update 2.06.2026 The Tilapia sandwich has been my go to for years but STILL, the issue with this restaurant is the gnat problem! I would think that ANY creditable pest control company could make this issue go away. It just doesn't seem healthy-

The drinks were just okay as well. My sister's espresso martini was strong while my drink the coconut meltdown wasn't. The service was okay. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. I had to ask twice for tartar sauce. My nephew's kids drink spilled and no one was around to bring him another. When they came to clean it up they didn't even offer to replace his drink. I'm not sure I would go back but it's fine for a quick bite or possibly takeout.

Finally stopped into Lo-Lo's and was not disappointed. My sister raves about this place so my…read moreexpectations were pretty high going in. For starters, every staff member was super kind! All smiles and eager to help, my kind of customer service! We were seated shortly after arrival, with no reservation, so that was nice! We dined in for Sunday brunch, nice sized crowd & the football games were on the TVs. Our server, Kevin, was so sweet and attentive. For the table: Fried catfish - amazing! Not too greasy, cooked perfectly and battered/seasoned well. Kevin confirmed that the fish is cooked in separate oil, win for me when I'm eating pescatarian. Waffle - delicious! Personally, I don't like my waffles crunchy so happy to report theirs were soft and fluffy! They add cinnamon to their batter which is a nice touch. Grits - both the cheese and regular were enjoyed! Cornbread - solid! A nice helping of butter served on top. Margarita - also solid! My only "pain point" would be that the building could use an update inside but clean nonetheless.

Super busy, inside the door was being held open since there was just people coming in and out. Had to get on a waitlist and that took an 45 to an hour to be seated. Once seated, the server wasn't anywhere to be found until 15 minutes after. I'm sure it was extremely backed up. But then the order didn't come after an hour. At that time, I didn't feel as hungry anymore so maybe I'll come back on a slower day. The food was decent but the sides were all pretty sodium loaded and the chicken was pretty greasy. The ambiance was and the hostesses were helpful. I would recommend to go on a slower day at least once if you haven't tried this place. Everything costs $60+, In my opinion the dishes are a bit overpriced. If you're watching out for your calories with this one then just forget it!

Wicho's House - Migas! The best I've ever had. This is what I always order to judge a place by. The chorizo was in chunks, cooked well, and not greasy.

I visited for the first time and it was during brunch. Short version: Food exceeded my…read moreexpectations. Come for the food, not for the service. Why give it five stars? Because the food is so worth it, you can't find freshness and quality like this anywhere. I will start with the CONS: Food took forever to come out. When it finally arrived we didn't have silverware or drinks. No one came to check on us so we waited and our food got cold. A different server came to check on our drinks and realized we had none and also we had no silverware. She soon brought those out. I asked for salsa, and they brought enough for me, but my husband also had a meal that would typically go with salsa and they didn't bring him any so I had to ration it. We had to remind them we were still waiting on another meal for our kids and that one took even longer to come out. PROS: the staff was welcoming, they were very nice, the atmosphere was very cozy and the music was fun and not too loud unlike most places. The fresh squeezed orange juice was very good as was the agua de jamaica (hibiscus tea) both were the perfect amount of sweetness. I ordered the birria tacos given it is the winter and a cup of warm broth was calling my heart. The birria tacos are actually not birria, they are just steak tacos fried with cheese. Honestly I do not care because the steak was absolutely perfect, not over cooked, and the cheese had an impressive pull. The accompanying broth was topped with plenty of onions and cilantro but was very flavorful I want to inject it in my veins. I keep having flashbacks of me dipping the tacos in the broth. I'm salivating just thinking about it. We also ordered a Belgian waffle topped with fresh strawberries and powered sugar for the table as a dessert and it was the perfect plate to end the meal. This may be our go to Sunday brunch from now on. Glad to have found a place that doesn't taste like Cisco food.

We loved the decor. The music was Spanish then country then pop. Stick to Spanish it matches the food and vibe. The service was quick at first then sporadic after, but I think they're understaffed a little. Overall best Migas Ive ever had, and I'm picky! She loved her omelet too. We will be back!
