After my mammogram I waited for the ultrasound where another person had to leave between these two services because she was also so late for work. 2 people missing diagnostic exams because the examiners were so far behind. And that's just in the 2.5 hours I was there! I understand imaging places are understaffed but to already be running a full hour late at 10 am is terrible planning. Two women leaving between two imaging sessions because they couldn't be any later to work is terrible health care administration. I have to come back in 6 months and I'm going to try and find a location that isn't run this poorly. Wish me luck!

That excellence continues to be present here, both in the office staff and the technologist that did the MRI. Sady (Sadie?) was wonderful on going through my paperwork and making sure everything was correct. She made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The Technologist was careful to make me as comfortable as possible, and explained what was going to happen, before and during the procedure. Excellent care! I had to reschedule for the Palm Harbor location a week later. When I arrived, the front desk insisted I had the wrong date and time--until I showed them their own confirmation text and they suddenly realized they had double-booked the machine. No apology. After the test they said the CD with my images would take 3-5 minutes. I waited over 15 minutes only to be told the employee went to lunch and probably forgot. Three days later my sister tried to pick it up (her name was already left there) and the staff refused to listen--even though the CD was literally sitting at the desk with her name on it. Completely disorganized and terrible customer service. I can only hope the technicians performing the scans are more competent than the front desk staff. The irony is that they have a memo on the front desk window reminding patients to be respectful because it's a healthcare facility--maybe the staff should read it too.

Even though they told me that I should be OK and if I felt any burning or discomfort that I would have a remote in my hand to stop the MRI. But I didn't want to risk it. Being trapped in a huge magnet with magnetic particles on my nails. No thanks. They were kind enough to let me reschedule my appointment. Everything went smoothly at that appt. The technician had me in and out of there in about 20 minutes. The MRI was for my wrist. Overall it went well.

I brought lunch to my husband who works across the street and parked my car in their parking lot…read morefor 15 min while still sitting in my car waiting for him to come grab his lunch, one of their employees showed up at my window angrily recording me and accusing me of tresspassing even though there are no signs saying I can't park there and no one came and told me I couldn't park there. I left and parked in another parking spot in the next lot over. Whomever this employee is needs to work on his communication skills he didn't have to angrily record me without my consent he could have nicely asked me to move my car. Mind you no one else was in the parking lot and the building was closed and I was doing no harm just waiting for my husband to come get his lunch.

During the exam she did not tell me to hold my breath when the machine was going. I asked her why didn't she tell me and she said oh it looks good. What?!?!? I also do not feel she situated my breast in the machine accurately either. Mammograms are critical to detection and her half hearted exam does not make me feel secure in my results. I do not trust her reading my results or my result at this point. I have gone here for years and never experienced this lack of thorough service before. The address takes you to an empty lot on the other side of the hospital complex. I had to call (with a long hold to speak with someone) to get help in getting to them and to let them know that I was here. Navigating this hospital is awful, lacking in appropriate signage; only one lane gets into parking garage but by the time you see that it's too late. Once I finally made it inside I was late and they said that I was welcome to wait but they were busy and my appointment was missed. The staff seemed to know exactly where the provided address took me but showed no empathy in a problem caused by BayCare's scheduling team. This is an unorganized mess! You want us here early but provide inaccurate information; and to make it worse, you are aware that of this problem with the address. You cannot keep your schedule so filled that you are unable to correct your own errors. I took this appointment because they had the availability I needed but they were unreliable and missed the mark.
