Now I've had my Cindy Crawford sofa, loveseat, and oversized ottoman that I got from Rooms to Go going on 7 years. Very durable and still in wonderful condition but years with a toddler has wreaked havoc there were noticeable pen marks and some finger paint spots on the side. I decided I need to get it professionally cleaned so Thursday evening I submitted online requests to several companies to provide quotes for upholstery cleaning. First thing Friday morning I had a text from Parker Brothers outlining the cost and services included. Even through the text the energy and customer service was there (whoever is working the text system keep it up). I thought the price was reasonable and they were able to get me in on Saturday! I gave it a few hours to see what the other companies would come back but decided to ultimately book. The other companies didn't respond until almost end of day, although the cost was less I'm not sure they would have matched the customer experience and customer secure aspect of Parker Brothers. The day of the job the experience was very good. I received a text saying the job before ran longer than normal but they would still be there at a specific timeframe. A crew of 3 men showed up and they were courteous, respectful, and very effective cleaning my furniture. They laid cover down on my floors to keep them protected. The gentlemen I had the most interaction with was Brad and not only does he know his stuff but he keeps you smiling- a simple joy to chat with! He gave me several tips on how to look at the fabric label of materials when shopping for furniture and how to clean up spots before they set. They were in and out within an 1 hour and 15mins! I had a great experience and would definitely use the Parker Brothers again for my cleaning needs. I'd also recommend them for my real estate clients. read more

I have dogs and one likes to every once in a while sneak off and go on the carpet. I also have two and a half year old carpet that I have had cleaned twice before by another cleaning company. Last time was only in October. The only thing I didn't like about the other company is that once the carpet dried there was a crustiness that I figured was residue. But dang that guy got all stains out, especially coffee and dog urine. Parker Brothers, they have no residue, but also don't get any stains out. Holy cow it's like they took a wet brush and scraped it over the floor but didn't suck anything out. I should have taken more pics because there were at least 10 stains remaining, two coffee and 8 urine, but see two pics attached taken about 24 hours after they left. Worst part is I sprayed the spots with a water/dawn mixture, let it sit, and then soaked it up with a white towel. I don't think Parker Brothers sucked out anything, or pulled it out of the carpet pad and left it in the carpet. The towel was yellowed and smell strongly of urine. I'll give them two stars because they were very friendly and the non-stained areas looked clean and nice. Exactly the same price as the other company I hired so it's not like they are a bargain. read more

Is it possible to give a zero star review? Based on positive reviews, I hired Parker Brothers to clean my carpet before listing my house for sale. These guys came in to clean my carpet yesterday and left a half dollar sized discoloration in my hallway carpet. It appears to be bleached out...this spot is reddish orange while the rest of the carpet is brown. When I called them out on it, they told me that someone must have spilled juice on that spot. I can assure you that no one spilled anything, and no one in this house is drinking toxic carpet bleaching juice. I quickly dissuaded them from that line of BS, then they offered to patch the spot with a new piece of carpet. As if I would let these clowns touch my carpet again. I am sure that they spilled some type of solvent. Please stay far, far away from this company. I honestly wish I had a time machine and I could get someone else to clean my carpet without damaging it. This carpet is less than a year old and high quality stuff...I'm sick to my stomach and in tears about this. How do I sell my house with this large discoloration in my carpet? Quick appointment response Friday of Labor Day weekend after taking rental possession. Parker brothers actually performed the work. Lots of pretreatment spraying and thorough dry vacuuming. Gave some tips about spot stain cleaning Negatives: This company uses buffer pad cleaning instead of hot water extraction. All this does is grind high traffic dirt into a blended look which the pile is then raked up making it look temporarily clean. I had to be followed to the bank to pay in cash. Very inconvenient. Something that was not disclosed on website or the phone when making the appointment. Any spot stains that can't be scrubbed by a buffer, they just ignore it. For example, had a sticky stain near a baseboard and they didn't do any manual touching of stain. If it couldn't be done by large rotary machine, it was bypassed. Large rotary machine can't reach corners effectively. One brother was pessimistic about cleaning and laments over 30 years of how homeowners have terrible carpet (my rental is doomed from the start). Machine can't get close enough to baseboards so he says it's normal tackboard oxidation. Ohh ok. how about the middle of carpet then? Resistance to rescrub high traffic areas. One Parker brother was polite asking the other to reclean it, but he complained it wouldn't help "cheap carpet". Well thanks for your input, but could spend more than 30 seconds scrubbing an area. The 2nd passover did indeed help, but again, all it was doing was blending high traffic dirt into a more eye friendly glance. Final Conclusion: After a week, the carpet had the same dirty look. I dug my Bissell out of storage and the extraction water was dark brown but extremely cleaner than paying $300 for mediocre floor buffering. Mehh. Outdated cleaning method, stick to Bissell or use a company that actually uses hot water extraction. read more

I actually chose Parker Brothers because of the reviews on Yelp. It was a wise choice. My husband actually had all of the interactions, so I'm going off of what he said. The initial phone call was easy. They were very professional and polite. Setting up a time was super easy. The day of the cleaning they were ON TIME (a foreign idea to so many in the service industry) and very friendly. They moved furniture, vacuumed, and of course cleaned the carpet. For whatever reason they did all of the carpet (except the bedroom) even though they had only quoted our living room. (I think this was because when they saw how small the living room was, they felt like it wasn't worth $100. We live in a small apartment, so there wasn't much more to clean.) Bottom line, I was thrilled with the outcome. The carpet was beautiful. And people, I had pee stains from a certain puppy-now-dog that shall remain nameless. Those were gone!! Our carpet cleaning was way overdue and may be one of the most challenging they had faced - stains from an older dog in her last months, a puppy in her first months, and a spilled bowl of pinto beans (bad news).
