He is extremely personable and leaves a lasting impression considering patients don't talk with the dentist for too long during the cleaning appointment. I also got my wisdom teeth pulled not too long ago. I was just given some anesthesia. It was quick & easy! I was prescribed antibiotics and really did not need any painkillers because recovery was not bad at all. Even got a phone call from Dr. Kung checking how I was doing. Dr. Lo is one of those people. A natural educator in a dental scrubs, Dr. Lo took the time to explain common misconceptions about dental hygiene with kindness and zeal. Like I said, I've never felt more excited about flossing and brushing. I took advantage of a new patient promotion for the office and am so glad that I did. The staff are welcoming and take the time to answer questions. I was not upsold on any service. From what I could tell, this dental office is more interested in giving patients what they actually need and does not try to sell products or procedures that are not necessary. So I have a new hygienist and I really like her! Don't ask me her name, I can't remember her name. She's been doing dental hygiene for 37 years I think she said. I told her there's NO WAY. She doesn't look old enough. But she says she is, she has 3 boys and is getting close to retirement age. I go in every 3 months because I have an auto immune disease they need to watch and treat. This time they did a deep cleaning which I was really worried about how painful it would be. The hygienist numbed the section of my mouth first. Then Dr Crandall came in and gave me several shots on that side in my gum. It all turned out very well. They've done the bottom front of my teeth and I have another appointment scheduled for more. Let this be a lesson to all of you younger then us 60-70 somethings. We weren't taught about flossing or using a "WaterPik" of some kind. I try to get used to it but I just haven't managed it. If you don't brush or floss or use a water pik get up to speed. You're only hurting yourself in the long run.
