We rented a U-Haul with a "guaranteed" 8:00 a.m. pickup through Parker Feed. We were driving across the country and wanted an early start. We got there a few minutes after 8:00 a.m. No one was there and everything was locked. We tried to call their number several times. No one answered the phone. We gave up after 20-25 minutes. We had to call all over to get a different truck. We would NEVER use this place again. Never got a call from them after this debacle either. read more

I'd do a zero if possible. Rude, rude, rude. I'm not sure how these people have stayed in business all these years. Last time giving them a chance. Called one day about hay price; was told one amount - a good price - I even verified because it was unusually low - and when my wife went to get it, it was $7 more per unit. When I called back they were rude and dismissive and didn't even humor me with an "apology for the miscommunication" or something. The guy started yelling at me. Wow. I try to support local small businesses but it makes it difficult when there is one person helping five people (95% seems to be U-Haul customers). I like to get sunflower seeds and corn for the wildlife and their bags of corn always have tons of meal worms or whatever. Which maybe that's normal idk I'm not a farmer. read more

These people cost us hundreds of dollars in movers fees because they couldn't manage to open their store on time and did not have signage explaining the online process or where to find the trucks and keys. This review is for their UHaul rentals. While there was a not unexpected line at opening time, I found their service to check out a van fast and efficient, and super friendly. At check in again, fast, efficient and friendly. The young man checking me in said the place has been in business for 50 years. Not a surprise. They know what they're doing. This was my first time renting from this location, I plan to always go here in future. And while I didn't shop inside the store, I found I was quite surprised at all the neat stuff they carried. It is a jewel I've driven by a few hundred times and never realized what a great place it was. I'll definitely be back. read more

I went in to get a Uhaul and the lady working there was super rude unprofessional and has horrible curmstomer service. After having a problem with the uhaul app I was trying to get her to help me with getting the Uhaul and she kept saying you have to go to the app. After I said I cant I am having trouble with the app can you please look it for me I had to repeat myself 3 times to her and She said with an attitude fine just go stand in line then . After the gentleman who was new there was doing his best to help my girlfriend and I out. She closed and locked the front door leaving my girlfriend to go out the back and walk around th back to get to her jeep in the front. We rented a Uhaul from this store for our move. My husband got there early, but still ended up standing in line for 1 hour to pick the truck up. There was 2 people working, both of which were moving very slow. Very very slow. The lady behind the counter was giving people items for free (which is fine, because she felt bad everyone was there for so long). BUT, by the time my husband got to the counter the lady had given away all the packing blankets. We had pre-ordered 24, and got 0. I would advise going elsewhere if you are looking for moving truck and supply rental. The long wait, and lack of supplies put his behind schedule and in a tight spot for our move and made the whole thing pretty complicated. read more

Heck they would probably order you anything you wanted (TV? Washer and dryer?) There is a reason these guys have lasted as long as they have. I went to Parker Feed to rent a u-Haul trailer. They didn't hook the trailer up correctly, it damaged my truck and bruised me. They refuse to refund my money and U-Haul won't give me enough money to fix my truck. They agree that they are at fault and I believe that this is a travesty. read more

I've been shopping here since I was about 14yrs old....a looooong time ago. I tried to see if they could get the feed I needed for my 2 4H steers in Jan, and was rudely told he didn't know the item number and that I should look it up and get back to him, NOPE, that's your job for one, for two you missed out on 200.00 a week of feed sales just in my steers, and I'm sure I'd have gotten feed for my horses and chickens also if I were already stopping.....I would rather support anyone who actually cares about my animals (I like O'Malley's mercantile in Watkins, they're awesome...I also like Jills feed in Elizabeth) . I called today and asked about chicken feed, and again he was so off putting that I don't think I'd ever shop here again or recommend them, I went to Murdoch's and got what I needed . Rented a U haul for a short move, returned the truck a couple hours early. Filled it up on the way back. Drove a total of 35 miles. The truck was old, and rickety. It had over 155k miles on it, and hadn't been maintained well. Upon returning, I asked the gentleman sitting at the desk if he wanted to come and inspect the truck and check the gas level, he laughed and said no, you're good, we'll just send you the bill. They did, they hit me with an extra $33 fuel surcharge. When I called to check on the charge I got a lady that was arguing ticks on the gas gauge with me. The $33 isn't a big deal. We have been loyal customers for over 12 years. The negative posts are baffling to me, as not only is the family that runs this place very knowledgeable and professional, they are incredibly nice. Anyone who was rude was a customer, and not the owners or anyone else. I've been to Murdoch's, Big R, and other stores, and they cannot compete with Parker Feed either in product knowledge or professionalism. PF also has the best prices and a pretty impressive selection considering the size of the store itself. I wouldn't shop anywhere else for my animals! read more

I bought a bag of oyster shell at this store for $11.80, liked it, so I ordered 50 more bags. I had to give my credit card before the order, because of how large it was, I guess. When it arrived we picked it up and used the product only to find out the feed store charged me $17.80 each this time ($300 more than I was expecting). I called to complain and they said they didn't charge the right amount on the first bag, but they would credit my card back some of the money. Never happened. read more

Tried calling this store to ask if they had some equipment I need. First call they picked up the phone, and then hung up. Second call and third try they never answered.
