I'm a believer! This still isn't about pizza. However I have to admit I have a problem. That's the first step isn't it? I am addicted to your dill pickle wings. I can't stop thinking about them. I waited one night for 2 hours to get them. There was a mix up with DoorDash communication system. They asked if I wanted a refund!? NO PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY- I NEED THOSE DILL PICKLE WINGS! I called the store and Sylvia the GM answered and explained the technical nightmare. Sylvia thought I was an angry customer. I said- but Sylvia are my Dill Pickle Wings still coming? Haha! We were seated quickly and the portions for appetizers were huge. The cheese curds were good however they were over cooked and the cheese had popped out of most of them. The haystack onions were enough to feed a solid 6 people. We tried a mixture of the lunch specials. She pizza is relatively small but tastes good. The pulled pork also had a lot of flavor but the French fries were very basic and slightly undercooked. The large variety of bbq sauce options was a nice addition and there are cute signs around the place. Our biggest complaint was that our waitress was MIA for a food portion of the meal. We asked for boxes and the check and said we needed to leave within the next ten minutes to be on time for a meeting, and she couldn't be found. I ordered take-out on Tuesday, September 15th. Ribsx2, Brisket and a Brisket sandwich. The meat was absolutely horrible. Ribs were hard and dry. Very hard and dry. Brisket was old and microwaved making it dry as well. Brisket bun was burned. The ribs and brisket were old and reheated. Spoke to the manager Sylvia and she claimed the meats were cooked that very morning and when I insisted that this meal was FAR from my usually pleasant dining experience at Parker John's, well....she just hung up on me. I wouldn't even be writing this if she had addressed my concerns. This is the only bad review I've given on line but the poor food quality coupled with a rude and dismissive manager forced my hand. I have been to this location over 10 times, and have always had a good experience. When I came into the restaurant today, that same experience was not replicated. Our server, said maybe 15 words to us over a 2 and a half hour span. Over that time, we asked for reorders of wings (all you can eat wing night). When we usually ask about reorders, the server usually asks what flavor we would like, so we can try something new. This time, we were answered with silence. No acknowledgement that the reorder had been taken. I get the restaurant being busy, but 1 water refill over a 2 and half hour span, and me finding out my servers name at the end of the night when asking for a tip, is not an experience I enjoy. Let me preface this by saying we did not eat at the actual restaurant but ordered for delivery via DoorDash. We were visiting Oshkosh and staying at one of the hotels. We searched and found this place. I didn't notice when placing the door dash order that the place fulfills their own door dash orders. Ok, no problem. Ordered and it said 30-45 ish minutes to deliver. Great, we order the Everything but the Kitchen Sink pizza, curds, and armadillo eggs. The 45 min window passed and we assumed they were busy. Waited another 30 min and called. They said they'd be here soon. Another 30 min passed and my kids were getting hangry. Decided to go down to the front desk to wait (put in the notes, please go to the front desk and ask for room X and I'll meet you down there). Opened the door and the food was sitting there. Not sure how long it was there, but no call, no text, nothing that they arrived. With that said, nothing was hot anymore. So I'm taking that with a grain of salt. The pizza was pretty good. I should have asked for no banana peppers but we picked those off. The aramadillo eggs had a kick! My kids who like jalepenos were like they are too spicy! They are an interesting concept! The atmosphere was great, and our server was nice. The bar lounge area was clean and had a very classy feeling to it. Our food tasted great! This is for sure a good spot to visit for lunch. Visited Parker John's from Ohio- the best Bloody Mary I have ever had. We had a large group, servers broke down checks correctly, were extremely accommodating to all food allergies, and took the time to make sure everything turned out exactly as we expected. My only critique is that the cornbread was cold as if taken out of refrigerator before serving. BBQ was amazing. Yes, no one talked at our table after the food came out! After digging in we all realized we were CHOWING down. Parking was super easy, and convenient. We will absolutely be back next year! The vibe of the restaurant was very friendly and so helpful. We have driven past this location several times since I've been staying up in Oshkosh and last week we finally went for dinner. I am so happy that we did! The menu is some of your basic barbecue options but it also has some great one-of-a-kind items that I hadn't seen before as well! I chose to try the loaded stuffer potato which is a fully loaded extra large baked potato with your choice of barbecue meat. I chose brisket and I was not disappointed! My boyfriend got the Texas Burger and he loved his as well. The restaurant itself is nicely divided between a bar portion and a family dining room. They do offer all day happy hour Sunday through Thursday with different options each day, but it's nice that they keep that to the bar side of the restaurant. The service was wonderful everything from how nice our server was , to the fun shirts that they wear. They also have great daily specials including a Wing Wednesday, Rib Thursday and Fish Fry Friday that includes shrimp. All of these options are all you can eat although I'm not sure I'm pricing but we will definitely be finding out! I would go back in a heartbeat! read more

On a road trip we 'Yelped' for our dinner stop and settled on Parker John's. Our order included the cauliflower wings and a Texas two step platter, which included pork ribs, brisket, cucumber salad, sweet potato fries, and a piece of cornbread. To be honest, we were disappointed in the food. Everything tasted lifeless and required sauces to add flavor. The cauliflower wings were mushy (previously frozen?) with too much sauce, the brisket was rubbery and the ribs were overcooked. The cornbread was served with a butter packet, and desperately needed honey butter, honey, or something. The service was very friendly, but our server was a beginner and it showed. Went for Mother's Day with the family and arrived at 430pm. There was a bit of a wait, which was fine, but strange as there were only 5 tables sat in the dining room and some out on the patio. Didn't seem busy at all. Right off the bat, the server tells us that they are out of brisket (among many other items), which literally 1/2 of their menu items contain. We were disappointed but powered on to find items they did have. We all ordered the Texas Two Step with a 1/2 slab of ribs and we each ordered a different second item and sides to share. When the ribs came out, they were so horribly DRY. It was as if they cooked them yesterday, left them sitting on the counter until 5pm today and put them on our plates. They were not even warm. It was quite literally like eating the sole of a boot. The Two Step comes with 2 sides, the server forgot the 2nd side for all of our plates. We had to remind her what they were and wait for her to fill them. The beans were so bland, no sauce or spices, like they just dumped a can of mixed beans in a bowl not even warming them. The spicy shrimp was as if they microwaved something out of a box from the grocery store and threw it on the plate, not spicy at all just plain bland fried shrimp. The jalapeno sausage, mac n cheese and loaded baked potato salad were just 'OK'. The only thing that we enjoyed was the pulled pork nachos we ordered as a starter. The rest was just so unbelievably bad - especially for 40.00 a plate! Maybe it was just an off day, you'd think they would be ready for a Mother's Day crowd? We won't be going back.
