Lovely barn full of wonderful real maplewood "slices" tables, a fun and cozy ambiance with several tchotchkes, signs, and memorabilia for decor. Anna was our server with a smile: pots of maple coffee, and of course breakfast for all. I had the Eggs Irish, a delicious twist on the classic Benedict with corned beef hash and tasted the apple cider pancakes a friend had... very yummy! The chicken and waffles was crispy, the pancakes huge and delicious, and the maple syrup served in individual nip bottles. Portions are generous and fit well with the welcoming ambiance. I'd received so many recommendations to check out Parker's Maple Barn in Mason, NH, so I finally had to see what all the hype was about! The drive up was filled with gorgeous fall views, & as soon as we arrived, I could instantly see the charm -- the place has such a cozy, rustic vibe. After putting in our name, we wandered through the gift shop & couldn't resist picking up some maple syrup & maple dark chocolates. Once seated, I loved the warm, country-style decor inside & noticed they even have outdoor seating -- I can only imagine how stunning it looks once the leaves fully change. Even though we were still full from breakfast earlier, we had to try their maple bourbon affogato & latte -- hands down the best affogato I've ever had! I also ordered an apple cider pancake (massive, fluffy, & perfectly spiced) along with some maple baked beans, which were top-notch. Definitely planning to come back soon to explore more of the menu -- this spot is a true New England gem! We stop by here every so often, and there's usually a 15-20 minute wait, which feels reasonable considering their limited hours and how popular they are. It has a cozy atmosphere and feels like a tucked-away hidden gem that's worth seeking out. My favorite order is the Parker's Special fried French toast (upgrade) with hash browns, eggs, and bacon which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Just be sure to plan ahead, as their hours are limited and vary throughout the year. read more

They have streamlined their Point of Sale systems so that you get a text when your table is ready so you can walk around & enjoy the gift shop and maple barn without fear of losing your place in line. The ambience is still so authentic and adorable (especially all the pellet stoves which we locals depend on but are novel to tourists). The family is onsite managing all aspects & greeting guests. This is a cool rustic breakfast spot which offers delicious breakfast and lunch items. There was a bit of a wait but while you wait you can visit their little coffee hut which also offers maple donuts. They also have a cool gift shop with neat nic nacs and gift items, and of course their very own maple syrup. The inside of the restaurant offers a forest cabin vibe and nice staff. I visited Parker's Maple Barn yesterday around noon with my girlfriend. While the food was okay, I'm writing this review to share an extremely uncomfortable and upsetting experience that occurred afterward in the gift shop. We are a lesbian couple, two tall women, and it became clear very quickly that we were not welcome. While I briefly went downstairs, my girlfriend was cornered by three staff members who were clearly profiling her, going as far as to look in her bag and trying to usher her out. They immediately backed off when I came upstairs, which only made the situation feel more targeted and disturbing. There was a noticeable level of discomfort and tension from the employees, and it felt like they were trying to push us out. Despite this, I still ended up buying something; a choice I now deeply regret. When I went to check out, the woman ringing me up turned to my girlfriend who wasn't paying and hadn't picked anything up and asked, "Do you have anything else you need to pay for?" It was clearly insinuating that she might have stolen something, even though she had done absolutely nothing wrong. The tone, the body language, and the overall treatment made us feel completely unwelcome. The message was clear that we were not seen as valued customers. As someone in the LGBTQ+ community, I left feeling quite disrespected, and concerned about how others, especially people of color, might be treated here. It seemed that the three women working that afternoon were more focused on catering to their local regulars spewing political rhetoric than treating all visitors with basic respect. I can't recommend this place to anyone who doesn't fit the mold of a straight white couple. It was an extremely disappointing experience that left a bad taste long after the meal was over. read more

I went often to Parker's when I was a kid and decided to go back as an adult . I'm sad things have changed from what I remembered . The food was not the best , didn't have that cozy feeling anymore , not sure if it's because I'm old now or things have drastically changed . It felt more like a regular diner than a quaint barn style eatery. The service was good , and they still have their gift shop which was cute . We got there reasonably early so seating was pretty quick. Normally you have to expect to wait about an hour. Food is always good as well as the weight staff. Most people appreciate the country atmosphere of the building. The gift shop is two levels and has a lot of fun stuff in it. Maple production is usually mid February to end of March. Very short season. It's a good time to go if you want to see and hear them explain how it's produced. read more

I went yesterday morning with my sister for the first time. We got the Donut sampler to start. The Blueberry bites were out of this world. The cinnamon rolls and deep fried donut holes were also very good. I got the Home made Hash Omelette with the potatoes and Marble Rye toast. Very good breakfast!! Very awesome place. The setting is a tranquil woods. The ambience reminds you of farming life as you sit in the beautiful barn. The food is consistently excellent. We've been wanting to go to Parker's Maple Barn for years as we visit the area often, and we finally were able to make it in for breakfast today! There's nothing better than pulling up and immediately being greeted by the sweet smell of maple. The pancakes were thick, and the syrup was delicious. We even picked up some maple candies from their store and they're some of the best we've had! The eggs Benedict and corned beef hash were fantastic too. The bacon was pretty salty but was still good. Will try to write up a more conclusive review, but before I forget, I want to rate this restaurant, the food, service, and atmosphere. The first weekend we visited this year, as is tradition, was during the first maple production tour offered. Since the wait time for sitting down to order breakfast upon arrival was 60-90 minutes, this was a great opportunity-- especially for kids. The restaurant is cozy with an "olde" vibe (with that 'e' if you know what I mean) and homey within a cabin and adorned by tools previously used to extract maple tree liquid to boil down into syrup. The service was exceptional and Anna was our waitress that went above and beyond for our little party of 7. She was responsive, put in a lot of effort, and made sure to attempt to make the experience wonderful for everyone. Now the reason I've deducted a star here is simple and easy to fix in my opinion-- *you can't order sourdough bread or toast*. They offer the standard breads with your breakfast (and $5 for a side of bacon) such as white, wheat, and rye I think. The ONLY way they're selling sourdough is by purchasing "avocado toast" which comes on sourdough bread. No other way are you able to buy sourdough. Call me crazy, over the top, extra, whatever.... But why in the world can you not order a side of sourdough bread?!?!! read more

Parker's has great food, service, and a nice rustic atmosphere!! Their prices are reasonable and everything we had was great! I love their sausage and the corned beef hash! The deep fried French toast is out of this world!! I also likes the burbon maple latte I ordered! On the downside is that they don't have WiFi which is especially a problem since my Verizon phone doesn't get service there.... You also would benefit from WIFI so you can receive texts or monitor where you are on the wait list.... read more

I think this place, although yummy, is a bit overrated. It is definitely overpriced for a plate of pancakes and bacon. Yes the pancakes are good and the stuffed French toast is delicious, but the coffee is only ok and it usually takes a long time to get seated and the same to get your food. Which leads me to my only complaint: the wait times are very long, even during the week and even when there are many tables clearly available. However, my family and I conclude that this is the restaurant's way of directing you to their gift shop, The Corn Crib, where, of course, they hope you will spend some money. (Stay away from the gift shop if you have little children because they will want you to buy every stuffed animal and candy in the place). We just feel their wait time is a ruse to get you to shop. My last day of vacation here in NH, so it was decided we'd go here for brunch. I got the chicken and waffles; my folks got the Irish Eggs. I'm very particular about my fried chicken, especially chicken tenders, and despite the chicken here looking unassuming; it just worked. My plate of chicken and waffles was true comfort food. As for the Irish Eggs, I'm guessing they were fantastic since they disappeared pretty quickly haha. Comfy atmosphere, really cool gift shop for all ages next door, and great food.
