Was in the area shopping with the hubby and one of the boys and we wanted more than Dunks, found on Yelp and pics looked good so off we went. At first glance I was scared this was going to be a problematic dining situation (Im white, hubby isnt and we had went to another place around the corner and werent received too well so we left) and I thought Oh No, not again, But we sat down and the vibe was cool. Ended. up sitting next to another couple who I thought was going to be more of the issue and OMG - we became best friends and they were regulars so we were laughing and telling jokes and just had the best time. The portions here are absolutely huge! You can get an extra 1-2 meals based on the amount they give you. We got the York Grill Breakfast and the Dutch omelette with Chorizo on the side. parking is metered street and there's a parking deck across the street. the place is a good size restaurant boasting couple dozen tables. there is a sign by the front door, stating that if you tagged this place, you can get 10% off of your bill. We didn't. i'm not gonna promote the food here because it's not worth promoting. service was good throughout, from the host to our server. the quality of food is a mixed bag We order the frappe and smoothie. The Yolk Grill breakfast was fantastic! I had the Cali omelette with home fries, and my daughter ordered the traditional Benedict plus a side of cinnamon bun French toast for us to share - everything was delicious. There was no wait at all on a holiday Monday morning. Plenty of seating available; they offered the bar counter, but we chose to wait briefly for a table by the window. Food came out quickly and portions were generous enough for leftovers. Our waitress was great and very attentive. We'll definitely be going back soon. Cute little dinner in Nashua, nicely decorated with friendly staff. Probably the best Greek omelette and tater tots I've ever had! My daughter got the red velvet cheesecake pancakes, no chance of finishing them in one sitting LOL, she loved them. My wife's Benedict was only like warm but tasty. I came here with friends for brunch and we had great food and great service. The restaurant is small and always busy on the weekend but we only had to wait 15 minutes for our table. There are a lot of fun menu items and specials to choose from and the portions are large. Been here 3 times now. Food over all is really good. They have some delicious and very photo worth stuff on the menu. With that being said I was served a slightly raw pancake the 2nd time I was here. Good breakfast! We tried a special breakfast of Benedict sampler and that was plenty for two people. The restaurant gets really loud when it's busy. The only problem I had was the surprise cost of all their food, it was 33% more than what is listed on their website. For example, the traditional Benedict is listed as $10.95 on their website but their actual menu has it listed at $14.95. I was shocked and disappointed to find much more expensive prices than I was anticipating paying for my meal, and would recommend the owners to update their website. read more

My husband and I came here for a late breakfast last week as we had business to do in downtown Nashua. The food was pretty good. Our server, who also happened to be the person who greeted us and sat us at our table, was very nice. We will most likely not ever return though based on the condition of the dining room. The photo in my review is the chair next to where I sat. It appeared that there were numerous chairs that were in varying stages of deterioration. There were other areas of the restaurant that looked bad, maybe even dare I say... dirty? I fully realize what I'm saying is making me sound like a Karen. I really am not the kind of person who walks into a restaurant and looks for issues, but looking at this chair before I sat down on a another beat up chair really made me start to look around and see other things. It also made me wonder how the kitchen might look. Please know that I do not expect 5-star dining at a breakfast and lunch diner and I know that margins are tight in the restaurant industry, but I really hope the owner sees this review and considers taking a critical look at the dining room and the image they want to present. read more

Do not go here. Stay at home and make it yourself and save the money. Western omelette was dry and vegetables taste like they were frozen and just thrown in. The Dublin breakfast which I read got great reviews was one of the most bland breakfast I've ever had. Corn beef had absolutely no seasoning and was warmed up in the microwave. My side of beans was literally push baked beans from the can put in a decorative mini-skillet also warmed in the microwave. Prices are UP here and taste is DOWN. $60 for two people single orders and get hot chocolate. Not ever again. read more

Weird. I didn't have diabetes when I came in here....great breakfast place. The staff are all very friendly and low key. The food portions are HUGE so wear sweatpants or bring a backpack to haul out the left overs. The pics are their Banana Foster French toast and what I couldn't finish. Nashua recently had several good breakfast establishments close which was really disappointing so when The Yolk Grill opened up it was a welcome addition to the city. I have been twice now and both times it's been incredibly busy and also incredibly good. Mostly recently I went to Yolk Grill with my fiancé and two of our friends. Although it was almost an hour wait for us to be seated on a Sunday late in the morning there are a lot of little shops nearby and we were able to kill some time at one of them. Rather than hand out buzzers to those waiting, they take your cell # and text you when your table is ready which is very convenient. Once seated our waitress promptly came by to see what we wanted to drink and she also stopped by a couple of times while we were dining to give us refills on our coffee. Me and my friends ordered a special (Blueberry Bread French Toast) to share and we each got our own breakfast. My favorite section of their breakfast menu is their various skillets that they offer which I got both times that I went. However this time I asked to swap out the tater tots for home fries and asked for over easy eggs instead of scrambled and they happily accommodated my request. My fiancé got the Broken Yolk Breakfast (which I may have to try next time) and our friends got the Farmers Omelette and the Eggs w/ Hash. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and the restaurant had no problem splitting our check when we asked. There is a reason this place is so popular, it's really good. My only complaint is that there isn't sufficient room inside for people who are waiting for a table to wait. When the weather is nicer it will be less of an issue because people can wait outside but when it's cold and/or raining/snowing it can get really loud and crowded inside. Maybe someday they will come up for a solution for that but in the meantime it's not enough of a deterrent that people shouldn't check this place out. read more

The Yolk Grill opened another location in Nashua, in the former Picanhas space near City Hall. This breakfast and lunch restaurant is very popular in Pelham and some of my friends go there regularly. It's about the same driving time for me to get to either location. I decided to stop in to The Yolk Grill in Nashua for breakfast recently. There is ample table seating here, but I took a seat up at the bar counter. The server arrived with the menu and specials. The menu has a good variety of traditional and specialty breakfast dishes and items and a solid lunch menu. The Hangover Burger and Breakfast Shake are popular here. Alcoholic drinks will be served here starting October 9, 2023. They were also featured on Phantom Gourmet.  I thought about ordering the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes, which my Girlly Girl Pal loves. I ultimately went with The Ireland Omelet ($12.95 plus tax), which comes with a choice of side and toast. My breakfast entrée was served in 9 minutes after ordering.  The Ireland Omelet was a folded fluffy egg sheet blended with chopped onions and folded over homemade corned beef hash with melted Swiss cheese. The home fries were cube cuts, lightly grilled, browned, and seasoned nicely, ketchup cup on plate. The wheat toast was cut into triangles and buttered well. There was a good amount of food. I did request another ketchup too since they don't keep ketchup bottles on the tables, probably due to "less hands touching, the better." Anyways, I managed to finish my good sized breakfast & ice water and got the check, which was $14.05 with tax and before tip.  Overall, an excellent homemade corned beef hash omelet with home fries. I will have to stop in again to try their crab cakes for lunch. read more

Hostess weren't very welcoming but our waitress behind the bar was really nice. Vibes were cool when we went because everyone was dressed up for Halloween. I loved it! Please note: free parking on Sundays! Best part about this place is that you can pay for your meal directly on your phone if you have Apple Pay after you get your bill. Scan the QR code, add your tip, and head out! That was AWESOME. Another thing I enjoyed were the milkshakes. We got a flight of different flavors (Halloween special). Food didn't wow me as I thought it would... I was hyped up and waited an hour for an Irish benedict that didn't even taste that good, home fries were plain, and honestly I make better French toast at home. I give a lot of honest and positive feedback but I drove two hours for this place because the pictures on Instagram were intriguing and it was not worth it. Let me save you the time and money. Do yourself a favor, get in the car, head to Lowell. The owl diner is 10X better. The Owl diner will forever be the best place to get breakfast in the New England area. It never disappoints! I dont gate keep and I promise after you eat at the Owl diner, you'll know what I'm talking about. Hope this helps! read more

We took my mother and aunt out for breakfast today and tried out the Yolk Grill. First I've heard nothing but good things since they opened so we were pretty excited. We knew they get busy so we went early and got right in. First I'll do the cons as there weren't a lot. The parking is rough but there's a garage right next door so it's not too bad. We did wish our table was bigger we definitely felt a little cramped. Our last con was our waitress forgot I ordered a soda and brought me a water while I waited for my milkshake flight. Overall none of these were too bad. Now for the positives. First off the food is beyond amazing, there's a giant variety and everything we had was delicious. I had the Reese pancakes and milkshake flight, my husband had Stuffed French Toast, Home fries, and Hash, my mom had the traditional eggs Benedict, and my aunt got the western omelette. They were definitely busy but the staff was all calm and cheerful which really impressed all of us. Overall it was an excellent breakfast and we will definitely be back! And one last thing all our food was piping hot which we were very pleased with!! read more

We tried The Yolk Grill today after hearing some positive things, so we had high hopes going into it. We were seated at Table 5, which is a very small table pushed against the backside of the bar wall. The awkward placement of the table makes the aisle very narrow, and people have to squeeze by you constantly. After being bumped into multiple times, I had asked our waitress if we could be seated somewhere else. She was very nice and accommodating, but when she went to ask the Host, she was met with an attitude. The Host rolled her eyes, and told her that "the other tables are literally the same." This was loud enough for us to hear. The food came out concerningly fast, and it was very apparent it was of low quality. Both of our breakfasts were cold, the coffee was terrible, and the sausage was rubbery. It was bland, flavorless, and you could tell it would make you feel like crap after. The food was bad enough that we both stopped eating about halfway, and just hoped the check would come soon. Although the waitress was kind and helpful, she unfortunately was the only bright spot of our experience; which was simply not enough to save this place from being the worst diner experience we've had in a long time. This was our first and last time trying the Yolk Grille, and I encourage you not to waste your time and money on low quality, cold food, and a poor layout. The Yolk Grille makes Dennys look like a 5 star restaurant. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place! The multi-page menu offers choices that will not see anywhere else. And on top of that, there is a page of daily specials! Lunch specials come with choice of side (I recommend the tater tots - best I've had) and a cup of homemade soup. My favorite waffle is the blueberry crunch, topped with vanilla yogurt, blueberries, and crunchy granola. I usually make it a combo with two eggs and bacon for a thrifty upcharge. They make their own corned beef and corned beef hash, that makes their reuben sandwich, their Dublin breakfast skillet, their hash & eggs, and their Irish eggs benedict and Irish omelet especially tasty. Service is fast and friendly. When you're a regular, they bring you your drinks as soon as you're seated without needing to ask. They'll remember what you like. You will need a takeout container because servings are huge. My only disappointment is that their takeout containers are styrofoam - not good environmental ethics. We solve this by simply bringing our own reusable containers from home. Special tip for electric car drivers: The parking garage next door has free electric charging stations. You just pay for parking, and on the weekends that's free too! So plug in, go enjoy a fabulous feast, and when you go back to your car you've gained some mileage. read more

the food was decent not great The service is absolutely horrible, the waitress took my order I didn't see food for a half an hour, I was provided a teaspoon of ketchup which was not enough for an omelette and fries, did not see the waitress again another 25 minutes went by, finally got a refill of coffee and additional ketchup and was able to finish my meal it does not take a half an hour to cook an omelette, customer service has gone out the window and this is a fine example of it. Although the waitress did spend 20 minutes drawing ghosts on the marker board, obviously better things to do than to take care of customers. The ambience is pretty standard, although the black and yellow mugs are very pretty The place is virtually empty as well so it's not like they were busy. and it was only two parties of four, and three individuals, it's not like they were busy. Today was our second visit. My first visit wasn't the best so I wanted to give them a second chance. We were seated and immediately noticed that our table top was loose. It was wobbly and shaky. I mentioned this to the waitress who basically said she knew it was like that. So for the whole time we needed to remember NOT to lean on the table otherwise our drinks may spill. Moving onto the food. My ice coffee was watered down and disgusting. My sausage links were over cooked and hard as rocks. Sadly this will be my last visit. I wanted to love this place but I didn't see anything special about it. Long wait time but they do have an online reservation to save on that wait time. Keep in mind if your group is not all there, they will not sit you. They do have a bar area that you can sit at without waiting but again slim chance there will be an open seat.
