When we got there the outside seating was just closed. That was the real reason we were going to try Beepa and Lulu's as we really did not feel safe sitting inside. The inside did look very nice. The seating inside is a bit to close for us. As we were going to leave more people came and they decided to open the outside. Service was fast and friendly. The wife and I both ordered from the breakfast menu. The portions were good and the food tasted great. I am not positive if it is true but I thought I heard the server say they switched to Lunch at 11AM. I hope not as the wife and I like to eat breakfast all day long. We were seated at the one metal table. Next time we will request a picnic table. The chairs were king of high and my feet could not touch the ground. Wanted to love this diner style breakfast/lunch place but was just meh. They offer either home fries or hash browns. I love hash browns, but was very disappointed because these were COLD, dry and tasteless. On the plus side, they have a full bar and the bread/toast is homemade. We so enjoyed our breakfasts on the first day, we came back again on the second day. The coffee was piping hot and very smooth. I ordered the hash and eggs. My corned beef hash was some of the best I ever had, and they also know how to properly poach and egg too. My partner had the chocolate chip pancakes which were also phenomenal. I had a business breakfast here with my contractors before going to my condo for sale, and ordered a bit extra to sample as much as I could. The interior is very clean and modern, bright and airy. We don't get here often, but when we do it's is always excellent. Our service has always been friendly, even when it's crowded and busy. We love coming here for breakfast. Their unpretentious menu of classics is fresh and well prepared. They make their own breakfast sausage links. I'm not someone who generally loves sausage. The sausage they make here is amazing! I have to order a side of it every time. I also appreciate that they offer breakfast potatoes two ways; hash browns (shredded potato cooked crispy and golden brown) or home fries (the cut up potato cooked home style with spices. I'm a crispy hash browns girl myself. Another nice treat is the full bar, offering flights of seasonal mimosas, Bloody Marys, and anything else you might want. When entertaining out of town guests, we love to brunch at Beepa and Lulu's. I can't understand how anyone could give a bad review. Even if it isn't someone else's idea of five stars, I have a hard time believing that any reasonable person hasn't been treated well and received a proper meal. And if there were to be a problem, because mistakes happen, there is no way the owners wouldn't do anything reasonable to make it right. My husband and I are foodies. We love good food. We took our son there. The experience wasn't great. The restaurant was cold and there was no warm feel of atmosphere. No music, the walls were bare. The server was rushing us through our dining experience, had to ask for items from another server. For the price of the food, I would have expected more. The food was disappointing at best. Cold day like today, chili sounded great, besides being a bit spicy it was bland and watery. The coffee I could not finish drinking it was that bad. My $15 burger was so runny that the bun was soggy and the burger fell apart. Pastrami had honey dijon instead of dijon which made the sandwich inedible. We will never go back again. We were greeted with a bright welcome to a cheerful atmosphere. The food was a new twist on a home cooked menu. I had a fried haddock sandwich that was very light and crispy in a home made batter.
