Good food in a bar! Came with friends for lunch on a Saturday. They have plenty of televisions for football. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations. We stopped by this place since there was a 2 hour wait at the place next door and were in a hurry. There was a 20min wait so some of us went to the bar and grabbed drinks while we waited for our table. We decided to get the spinach artichoke dip and Mac and cheese bites to start with. The dip was one of the best ones I have had since it wasn't too heavy and tasted amazing with the pita bread it came with. The Mac and cheese bites were alright, and it came with chips and salsa which was an interesting combination. For the main dish, I went with the grilled portobello mushroom sandwich with red peppers and mozzarella cheese and curly fries on the side. The sandwich was okay and the fries were pretty good too. I paid 22 dollars for a philly cheese steak with fries.. I got it and got back in my car it smelled amazing.. I opened up the container I had maybe 8 french fries and a philly cheese steak with 100 mushrooms and two bites of steak.. Never ever returning this is just sad. read more

Stopped in for lunch on the way home from visiting a state park. Hubby used Yelp to find someplace to grab a bite and Parker's Grille was at the top of the search list. We were able to get parking on the street right in front of the door, which is always a bonus. Place was packed with customers which is a good sign. We were seated promptly and our server appeared right away to take our drink orders. The menu has a lot of choices, pretty much what you'd expect from an American bar/grille; lots of burgers, sandwiches and an extensive appetizer menu. We ordered the spinach dip app and both ordered burgers. Food was good but not great. Burgers were a little overcooked and dry even though we both asked for medium. Spinach dip was very good but came with pita chips which neither of us liked (we forgot to specify tortilla chips, our fault).Really good beer menu with lots of choices on tap. We would recommend both the ultimate grilled cheese with spicy sausage and zucchini soup and the burrito bowl with pulled pork. A good choice for a bar snack is the poutine and the loaded nachos! Stopped by this establishment with a coworker. Was thinking it would be typical bar food but was pleasantly surprised at the taste and variety. The praline pecan martini was rich and different. Tasty to its name. The zucchini soup was spicy and hit the spot on a cold snowy night. Also had the special burger that was local beef had brisket Cole slaw and bbq sauce (I opted for no cheddar). To start, the pumpkin soup was amazing! I've never had a pumpkin soup with so much flavor before. I had a burger, which was good, however, my friend ordered the seafood chowder which was absolutely delicious! The base was tasty, and soaked into the shrimp, scallops and clams, it was really good. We drove from Cicero to go to Sauders for a leisurely afternoon. It was my sister's birthday, and she had never been there. I suggested Parkers afterwards as I frequent their Auburn location. This being my first time at this location, I had high hopes in that it would be the same. The smoked chicken wings were overdone and had very little meat on them. The rest of the food was delicious. Our main complaint was with the service from our waitress, Kaysierra. Those assisting her were excellent, but she acted as if we were a bother to her. Her little sneers were the start. She did check on us, but it seemed she really didn't WANT to. When we asked for to go containers, she set them down. One of the items was a liquid so I had to ask her again for a container they would put soup in. That was delivered with another sneer. I didn't dare ask for a bag to put the 3 containers in! We paid cash and it killed me to leave her a tip. She only got 10% from us. Had she given better service, it would have been the 20% I normally leave. We certainly won't be back and will be certain to share our experience with our family and friends. read more

I grabbed dinner here after a long drive. It was ready for pick up at the time they stated, still piping hot when I finally got to eat it. I ordered 1/2 dozen wings with a side of curly fries. The wings were good, decent amount of meat on them, and the sauce was spicy enough. The fries were good too and it was a hearty side serving. I hope to dine in next time! read more

Had dinner at Parker's Grille And Tap House on Thursday night. It is an okay place to watch a game, especially if multiple big events are going on, but I wish we had not expected to eat dinner here. Quality: Parker's Grille And Tap House is a sports bar, and so we felt like we should stick with typical bar foods. Even that route led to less than great results. The first item out was the Mozzarella Sticks, which oddly are served with tortilla chips. They looked good, but the cheese combination inside seemed to be something other than just mozzarella, leading to a strange flavor and weird consistency. The chips were also not good, coming out stale. Next out was the Stuffed Quesadilla, which we ordered with pulled pork. This was the best food item we had, though they need to do a little better with ingredient placement when using such sharp flavors. The black olives and jalapenos pile-ups could ruin a bite. My girlfriend ordered the Crock Of French Onion, which was one of the saltiest things I have ever tasted, I couldn't eat more than one bite. Finally, was the Chicken Fingers which were fine, but the steak fries they came with were soggy and extremely salty. Quantity: The portions are very large and we ordered more than we could eat. Value: $9 for the Mozzarella Sticks. $6 for the Crock Of French Onion. $13 for the Stuffed Quesadilla. $10 for the Chicken Fingers. Ambiance: Parker's Grille And Tap House is a large sports bar located in Seneca Falls, New York. The space takes up what likely was two previous storefronts, creating a strange layout with an extra dining room area on the side. Both areas have lots of televisions, so it is the place in town to watch a game. The bar area is pretty large with high-tops parallel to the bar itself and regular dining tables located towards the back. They also had a small chained-off area on the sidewalk in front, which could have a few tables on nicer days. Crowd: It was fairly busy until around 8:30pm when everyone seemed to filter out and head across the street. In a town with just a few bars it seemed like this is where people eat and across the street is where they drink. Service: The staff seemed to be having a better time than most of the visitors. Many were sitting around drinking and talking, and I definitely saw multiple rounds of shots behind the bar. We were in no hurry as we settled in to watch the football game, but this is not a place to expect quick service. Parker's Grille and Tap House is a great example of a nice place with plenty of potential ruined by a few horrible bartenders. On Saturday night, the staff behind the bar was too busy eating and taking shots then to serve patrons. Very unpleasant experience. The staff was totally oblivious to patrons either trying to order food, another drink, or even close out. This experience was not isolated to the bar either. A table of two came up and asked the bartender for service as nobody was tending his table. The 2 top like us (and most of the patrons Saturday night) were patient but it's hard to take when you sit for 20-30 minutes without any service and watch the staff take shots and eat food. Overall the place has potential but yikes... they really need to get the staff in order. And Aaron behind the bar needs oversight from somebody responsible. read more

Really liked this place: We stayed just off the main drag and walked to dinner. Decided to go to Parker's and so glad we did. We were sat immediately at a nice, out of the way table. Our server was very busy, but still very polite, patient, and helpful. We had the Bavarian pretzels, which were outstanding, the chix wings, which many others loved as much as we did, and I had the fish special. A very nice cod that was cooked to perfection. Place has a good menu of beer, and I tried a few. One of the local beers was outstanding, and one might have been the worst beer I have ever had...I'll let you guess on that one! We were in town on a cold December Saturday, and Parker's had a tent outside serving a variety of food, snacks and drinks. Their full bar and restaurant were also open serving food and drinks to warm up the festival goers. We opted for the smoked brisket chili, which we learned from the friendly and outgoing staff is offered from time to time as the chef's choice soup. In my opinion it should have a permanent place on the menu, it was very flavorful, having an almost sweet taste, with a good blend of spices. It was also thick, full of chunks of steak, hamburg, corn, and beans. The chili was so good that when we were getting tired and hungry later that evening for dinner, we decided to go back to check out more of their menu. We didn't make this decision to about 6:30 and unfortunately others had had the same thought and the wait was 45 minutes. We had over an hour ride home and were pretty beat from a long day so we decided not to wait, but next time we are passing through Seneca Falls I would def be in favor of stopping by! read more

Defiantly your typical pub. But its right on the main strip in Seneca Falls and was certainly busy on a Friday night. During the 20 minute wait I noticed a few TV's around the place. I also found that the menu is a bit too large. The bartender greeted and helped us quite fast. Upon being seated the hostess handed us a menu advertising their specials for the evening. Again, the menu was large. It also had some interesting photos: man vs burger and a large pickle. I had a taste for wings with country sweet sauce. Unfortunately that sauce was not an option, but I noticed it was included on a sandwich from the specials menu. The waitress said they could accommodate my request! The wings themselves were big The onion rings we fantastic. My friends ordered the fish fry and a sandwich off the specials menu. The report was: fish fry was fantastic. Sandwich was not. In fact it was not finished and it was not wrapped up. Something I would like to note. This place carries several options for fries: Steak, Curly, Sweet Potato or Twisters. Great steak salad. Great service. But I don't want to support a business where management yells at the staff with the disrespectful tone that I witnessed. I really have no idea what the bartender did that frustrated the owner/manager. She screamed "you're all conspiring together!" So perhaps it was a problem that one bartender had to shoulder the blame for. The young bartender kept her cool and didn't return the disrespect. Kudos to her. There aren't many places to eat out on a Sunday night in Seneca Falls so our options were limited. I ordered a burger medium well and it came out rare to raw--cold in the middle. There is a reason restaurants print a warning about eating raw meat on their menus--it can make you sick or kill you. The server did take my meal off the bill but service was slow. This, however, was not because they were short-handed, as we have experienced at this stage in the pandemic. The server station is in the middle of the bar and you can watch the servers stand around talking to each other. Cannot recommend. read more

Really nice place. Plenty of interesting things on the menu. Nice selection of appetizers/bar food to go with a respectable beer and wine menu. I was disappointed, however, that after walking past two wall signs about the most excellent Boddingtons beer, I was told they don't serve that. That's just a terrible tease. Certainly a place we will visit again during our fairly frequent trips through this area. Maybe they'll have Boddingtons next time. read more

I had the shrimp and grits. It was very flavorful and not what you expect in upstate New York. My one critique is that they didn't fully cook the grits and I would add cheese. Otherwise very comparable to what I've had on Bourbon Street read more

We stopped for lunch, both of us ended up ordering ribs with accompanying cole slaw, corn bread and potatoes. Ribs were outstanding, very tender and delicious. Corn bread was buttery and seriously irresistible. Quarter rack was only $15, such a great deal. We'll be back! read more
