Stopped in for a work lunch on 3/21/19 with a colleague. Very busy in here but we were seated quickly. Had a cup of the lobster bisque, very tasty however I didn't realize until the next morning I had burnt my tongue on the soup. Hottest soup I've ever had. It was really good! I'm on vacation with five others sharing the table when enjoying dinner at your establishment. I would say fine establishment but I was highly disappointed. Underwhelmed would be a nice way of mentioning the experience. Should have known better. When you show up at prime dinner time on a Saturday night with a party of six and do not have to wait for a table. A gentleman took the drink order and the appetizer order. The appetizers came out in a timely manner. We ordered the pretzels with cheese and mustard. We also requested extra cheese and mustard. The pretzels were fabulously cooked. They were hot and crusty and delivered the melt in your mouth factor you dream of. The cheese was decent but nothing you write home about. No extra sauce and nothing to eat it with or drink it with. Mac and cheese bites were delivered amongst a lake of unsalted tortilla chips. They were too hard and flavorless to enjoy. Let's preface this with saying that you do not serve fried food without salt. Finally halfway through the appetizers we received drinks. One beer and three cokes, one ice water extra ice no lemon, as well as two waters with lemons. Then there was a wait for the server. We watched the gentleman run back and forth and never return to the table. Finally a female server came over and took our order. When she arrived we requested six separate receipts. We stated what drinks were ordered and which appetizers were ordered by whom. Then the waitress said, let me know what drinks you ordered when I take your dinner order. At this point we still did not have silverware or plates or had not been asked how the appetizers were. Personally I ordered the lobster roll a baked potato with extra butter and sour cream and a salad. After the server left the salad was delivered. The dressing was worth having again. It was balsamic and well balanced. Sadly I only dipped a cucumber because there was still no silverware. While waiting for the server to arrive I Noticed a table nearby enjoying prime rib. It looked dynamite it was medium rare and had a boat of au jus and creamy horseradish. It was thick and tall and it was making me drool. I asked the server who took our drink order to add the prime rib to my order to share at the table. The food came out staggered, and was a let down. What was worse was there was still no silverware. No extra butter or sour cream and no server to request more. The roll was toasted and was all prepared to serve my buttered lobster as a heavenly bed. Sadly the lobster was over cooked and flavorless. $19.99 and the best thing about it was a grilled bun. I've had lobster in Maine at Cape Cod and in Boston. I have cooked, poached and steamed lobster myself. I have a high expectation and am considered a high-maintenance foodie. I order a bit of everything and enjoy sharing the culinary talents of exquisite food. I eat anything that doesn't eat me first. I love to open someone's palette and encourage broadening of their horizons. I was hopeful my prime rib arrived and was gray! A meager ramekin of plain horseradish arrived. No creamy sauce. The au jus was delightful, I requested a new prime rib and creamy sauce. A while later my prime rib arrived plunked down on the table with the juice cascading everywhere. I was not asked how the cook was or even an apprehensive apology. The cook was medium except for a small sliver along the fat cap was there a trace of red. Prime ribs are known to have less flavor in the middle. It is why you have au jus. This was tough and tasted like wet tissues. When I grabbed yet a different server and requested a manager. We were told that there was not one. My response was there had to be a lead server or bartender that was acting manager on a busy Saturday night. Shortly after a man came to the table and said he was the bartender and the manager. I invited him to try the French fries that did not have a lick of salt, the tortilla chips that were hard, or to find a prime rib cooked medium rare. His response was to laugh and argue and say they never salt fries nobody does. He then argued that the meat was definitely pretty rare. He stated there was salt on the table. If you don't salt the fried food as it leaves the oil what is the point? Might as well place a fistful of money against your pocket and see how much you retain. The original server arrived with bills and incorrect appetizers which she was given twice. It would have been nice to have been offered dessert or an additional recook. I did not however be expected to be laughed at and I thanked for patronage. Save your appetite and money! Go to Beef and Brew!!! The service and food are phenomenal. Two of us went to the bar to get drinks and the bartender Aaron gave us an attitude and wouldn't serve us, or give us the time of day! Went here on our way home from the cemetery. Food was okay, I had the beef pot roast sandwich "wiggie", it was messy with the cheese and gravy, just ate it open faced. My wife had asked for a toasted cheese sandwich which was on the menu called the "Ultimate toasted cheese", what she received was not the ultimate but just a plain old toasted cheese sandwich which is not even on the menu. If you've had the pleasure of visiting Seneca Falls overnight, you'll know that there are three places to eat in town - the hotel, the dive bar and Parker's. We went to Parker's on a Saturday and the joint was jammed. Luckily, we were able to snag one of the four tables outside on the small patio. The weather was just so nice out and although there isn't much happening on the main drag in the evening, it was nice to sit outside. Parker's menu is fairly standard American pub style,with a few surprises. I was immediately intrigued by the Jerk pork sandwich - I love Jerk spice (if you were a teen in Toronto like I was back in the day, you ate a lot of good Jerk chicken because it was tasty and cheap!) and you almost never seen ground pork burgers as an option on menus (the pulled pork frenzy has kept the ground pork on the sidelines just about everywhere). I was not disappointed with my Jerk pork burger - it was hot and fresh, with loads of Jerk seasoning, salsa and melted cheese. I loved the onion ring that came on top of the burger, I am sure it would have been tasty if I had left it on the sandwich, but I couldn't resist eating it straight away. I had ordered french fries with my meal, but got sweet potato fries instead. They were OK, nothing special. I did have an interesting mango beer with my pork burger, which was kinda perfect! My wife was disappointed with her chicken "caesar" salad, mainly because the salad dressing that she asked for on the side was actually Italian dressing, not caesar dressing. It tasted like Kraft dressing actually. The chicken was good, charbroiled and tender, although the rest of the salad lacked personality and was missing the very best part of a caesar - the bacon! She voiced her displeasure with the dressing to the waitress who was kind enough to take $3 off our bill, which was a nice gesture. If we venture back to Seneca Falls we will likely forego Parker's and hit up the hotel (and if worse comes to worst) the dive bar, just because you gotta keep your options open :) read more

We wanted a quality local meal prior to the show so we drove the extra 8 minutes to Seneca Falls knowing it would be a tight schedule we arrived in our concert seats exactly on time with casino drinks in hand. Really impressed with the food and beer at this establishment! Located on the main drag in Seneca Falls. Lots of local craft brews on draft, served cold. Our server offered a taste :) We were there on a Monday night, and the daily specials menu contained a nice variety of pub food and fine dining. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. My husband had the spicy pork burger and upgraded to sweet potato fries for a dollar. He loved it. . I had this amazing mild fish, pan fried that arrived with a fresh squash medley, and choice of potatoes (I had baked, slow cooked in the oven served with real butter & sour cream). Normally, I will not eat squash, but this was amazing: like it had been Julianne, then grilled. Not mushy at all. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service was wonderful. Staff is always friendly, service is always great and pretty fast. Great selection on the menu, and there is always a specials menu to choose from. I have ordered a lot of different things over the years and they have all been delicious. My go-to right now is the Turkey Club sandwich. Super yummy and stacked so high I can't even get my mouth around it. We have never had a bad experience at Parker's. We started going to the one in Geneva first, and then the SF location opened, and we've been going there ever since. It's a great family restaurant. We are regulars there, whether it's the 4 of us, just the 2 of us for date night, or a table of 10! They are always accommodating when we have large groups. The food is great - she said her Wedge salad is the best she's had and I had great prime rib sandwich and enjoyed my glass of local wine selected for me by the knowledgeable server. I ordered the Asian salad with grilled chicken & my husband ordered 10 smoked chicken wings. My salad was as big as a side salad, with 2 mandarin oranges & wonton noodles for $17.00. My husbands chicken wings were so well done & hard, he couid barely get any meat off the bones. They crumbled as he tried to eat them. They were also $17.00! When the bartender asked us how things were, we told her how disappointed we both were with our meals. She offered to bring my husband something else, but at that point we didn't want to take a chance with ordering anything else. She never told a manager, or offered any compensation. The first evening I had the beef burrito dinner. It was better than what I have had in most Mexican Restaurants. The beef was shredded, not ground, delicious and tender. My wife had the Beef on Weck (thinly sliced roast beef on there version of a Kimmelweck seasoned bun). It was also excellent. The have a nice variety of local craft beers. Our two pints were $5.50 and 6. Reasonable for good craft beers. Large menu, so you should not find it hard to satisfy everyone in a large group. Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Went back a second time and had the pastrami sandwich. They make their own and it was OUTSTANDING. My wife had the pulled pork which she just raved about. I guess I don't really understand what Parker's is trying to be. I guess it is a reasonable sports bar and grill. They have sports bar foods, and tvs. But the place next door has more of all those things, so it's not much to brag about on that front. Tap list is underwhelming. I've had some passable sports bar quality food there, but the one time I tried to really give them a chance to prove themselves they REALLY let me down. I suppose I'm to blame. Who in their right mind goes into a second rate sports bar and orders a lobster roll? Well, I do. You know what? I've had a damn good lobster roll in a third rate cop bar in MINNESOTA. So maybe in a year when lobster is at an all time low price due to an unusually productive harvest, I figure some place far closer to the ocean than Minnesota can do a decent job. I mean, they're still charging $15 for it (even though wholesale prices of Lobster are down by 50% or more), surely they wouldn't completely fuck me on this dish? It's on the Specials menu. That mean's they give a shit, right? No. No they do not. I got a hot dog bun with 3 bites of butter dressed lobster in it. That was it. For fifteen fucking dollars. Let's pretend for a minute we can excuse how egregiously they were raping me on the price per quantity given the historically low price of lobster right now. Aside from the fucking violation of that, the "lobster roll" was absolute shit on top that. No mayo, no scallions, nothing to even pretend they were giving me a reasonable amount of my food for my $15. Three bites of lobster, some butter and Parker's laughing all the way to the bank. What a disgrace. It almost seems insulting to continue and point out their fries are mostly crap, but their "salad" option is even worse. Iceberg lettuce, with a little splashing of green pepper and shitty tomatoes. Your mom did better in 1975. They probably charged me extra for that, too. I have a like-hate relationship with Parker's. I really appreciate the presence on Fall Street. On any given night they do a brisk to crazy busy business. The service at all Parker's excels due to the owners pet peeves. You will be immediately greeted as you enter and offered a farewell when you depart. The staff works together and one person will take your drink order and another your food order, they pool tips. To me where Parker's fails (all of them) is consistency. First off the menus are HUGE. Like 200+ items huge. Can you imagine the food bill from Sysco? The silverware, glass and table ware, all Sysco. The sugar, cream, sweet n low, ketchup all of it, Sysco. They make it so easy for the owner they even front him everything to get started. I'd rather see a smaller menu done well. You never know how you will fare with your meal which is why I choose to spent my time and hard earned money carefully here. I do like the bar. I do not like paying $4.50 for a pint of Sam Adams but they have to pay that Sysco bill after all. If you find yourself in Seneca Falls and you are hungry and thirsty your options are very limited and you can do worse than Parker's (The Gould Hotel for instance) but it is what it is as they like to say around here. read more

Fast and efficient service, decent beer list - included some interesting mico-brews. Huge menu but mainly bar-food which is fine, of course. Everything everyone else got looked good, too. Clean bathrooms so a plus on that, too! BTW: THis was on a Sunday at lunch so maybe not as crowded as other times? As for other Yelpers not liking it - may I gently suggest that "fine dining" is not what this BAR and GRILL is about? Fish at places like this - particularly in the middle of pretty much no where - are not going to really offer the best fish. It will come frozen and probably breaded from some factory. There were several TVs on either side of the long dining area, each with a different game, each being loud, and each matched with fans being equally loud (....it was a loud lunch). Tap list was meh (which is odd consider that it is a "tap house") and the local wine I was served had been sitting in a previously-opened bottle for a while (bland). The guys were supremely satisfied with the buffalo wings ("the best they've ever had") and I was pleased to actually see some healthy options on the menu (hummus plate! mmm). The veg burger was a pleasing order - I had anticipated cardboard between two stale buns, nope! Flavorful and on yummy fresh bread! The pickle was crisp and appreciated. Cost was low, service was with a regretful smile (really kid? why cringe every time you came over to ask "how's it GOeeennnnnn?"), and the room was loud. But it was a clean, updated place and the food was pretty lunchtacular. Was only passing through town, but I'd say this would be a reliable dining option for you and a few buddies. read more

To some extent, this is a typical pub/bar with a lot of TV's and unexciting food. The menu is large and varied... possibly too much so. But it's Seneca Falls. Not exactly brimming with culinary options. My wife's burger was good, not great. Well priced and good tasting, but not going to blow you away. My daughter had a kid's spaghetti (no sauce, just butter) and said it was delicious (though it looked more like linguini) However, even though it was only 4:30, something on the 'after 5:00' menu caught my eye. I asked my very pleasant waitress if I get order from there, and they accommodated... which I greatly appreciated. Smoked. Chicken. Wings. They were delicious. Skin so crispy, meat so full of flavor. But don't mess with the staff. Carol has taught them well. In fact her family works for her. Which cannot be easy but they ALL pull it off each and every day. Try the potato skinz and the wine. But all reviews should take context into account and I think that for a small town like seneca falls, Parkers was better than expected. My buddies and I stumbled up Parker's hungry, and there arent a whole lot of choices on Fall street. The setup is pretty standard bar/grill type motif. We got some chicken fingers as an app, which came with steak fries. Nothing to write home about but they hit the spot. I went with a bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries, others at my table went with the taco salad, some type of steak sandwich, and a buffalo chicken wrap. The roll on my burger was a little on the stale side, but the burger was definitely respectable. I think the greatest part is that they offer sweet potato fries as a side for no additional charge. We all cleaned our plates. Draft beer menu is extensive. The service was exceptional. Our waitress was as friendly as a peach and she along with another waitress gave us lots of recommendations for places to see in the surrounding areas. We swung by Seneca Falls to see the Finger Lakes while crossing NY. Driving through the old downtown we saw several restaurants and picked Parker's by chance. Boy were we lucky; it is great. It is a clean and maintained old bar, a double wide shotgun, that is, the bar is long and thin with seating in the back, and a second storefront connected with a front dining room and kitchen in the back. The layout made it intimate. It was Sunday and the bar was lined with wide screen TVs. The food was quality mid-priced bar food. I had a salad and a beef on weck sandwich with steak fries. This was my first beef on weck. I've seen it as a regional specialty on the Food Channel but this was my first. I don't see how you could make one better. It was loaded with quality shaved beef and the bun was awesome, plenty of caraway and just a bit of sea salt. It came with horseradish and a dipping bowl of flavorful au jus. I'm glad I had my first here. It was prepared by people who love food and take pride in their job. I've since has some in Buffalo at well know places that seem like Arbys compared to this work of art. Bottom line: I wish I could be a regular. It is my kind of bar. Not a bad place, not a great place. In Seneca Falls on a regular basis for business and there are not many dinner options. A warm and cozy bar on a cold winters night where most customers are locals who have known each other for years. Lots of hearty bar food on the menu but there are fish and salad options as well. Last night scallops tonight "cajun" broiled scallops. Each tasted fresh not fishy but bland, which Has been my experience in the NE and mid west. Service is friendly and the wait staff make an effort to remember repeat customers.
