This review is for past project 4 years ago and recently this week for an assessment. First, Jeff, whom we worked with both times, is friendly and very knowledgeable. He explains what the issue is and what the different options are to fix or correct the problem. The first project we had was our double oven would not work in the cleaning mode. Called Jeff and he pulled out the oven and we saw near the outlet flash marks indicating a short. Thankfully no fire broke out. He then checked the circuit breaker and immediately noted that the breaker was undersized for the power requirements of the double oven. I think we had a 40 amp breaker and it needed to be 50 amp. Worse is the wiring gauge was insufficient and he had to run heavier gauge wiring. Not easy, but it got done. While working in the CB panel Jeff noticed flash marks in the panel. Eventually he ended up switching out several other breakers. I really like when someone sees an issue beyond what they initially came out for and suggests options. Electric is nothing to mess with and if safety is compromised am all for fixing. The oven and everything else is working great. Thanks Jeff. Recently we needed an electrician to come out and checkout our panel because during extreme hot days our voltage would drop below 105 volts. Lights would dim, etc. Jeff inspected the panel and said it all looked very good and to contact SDGE. Which we did and SDGE said to keep monitoring as they recently swapped in new transformers in our area. Now, Jeff is not the least expensive electrician, but not the most expensive either. However, quality, timeliness, efficiency and honesty are all attributes that matter and is never free. I highly recommend Jeff for any electrical work that needs to be done.
