I was told the vehicle was cheap because of some sensor issues but the fuel injectors were messed up amongst other things. I've spent 9,000 fixing it and it still isn't running. They told me to only take it to mechanics that specialize on foreign vehicles but the shop that does inspections for the vehicles they sell does not. They suggested I take the car to said shop and they themselves told me they don't specialize on foreign vehicles and had no idea what was wrong with my car. Yet they're the ones who inspected it for Cherry Creek to sell it.

When he had one he contacted me first and it was super convenient to go over test drive. I'm super happy with my Toyota and it's been great in the Denver weather. BUYER BEWARE (This is just a factual summary of an…read moreexperience as a warning for other buyers) The guys who work here are decent (Nick and David), but ownership may have questionable ethics re: business conduct. We supported my boss in purchasing a vehicle from this lot. Even though the vehicle was to be taken out of state (out of CO), buyer was told that he'd be provided with a copy of a "VERY RECENT CO Emissions Test Result" as an assurance that the vehicle was definitely able to pass a 'smog check' (as vehicle may have been going to CA with same emissions regs as CO). Very close to asking price was paid, so it's not as though they sold for greatly reduced price or anything -- and he bought PREMIUM version of extended warranty from them, so they've have made dealer commission on that. On the drive from CO to CA (departed CO same day), the "Check Engine" Light illuminated and, of course, it related to emissions, with the code stating that the OBD had been detecting a flow rate through Purge Valve (emissions-related) over a certain period of time. Emissions Certificate which was promised as part of sale was never provided or produced. Two significant repairs had to be undertaken immediately: approx $1100 for the job to replace the tube re: PURGE VALVE and another approx $1100 to replace a hose to do with coolant flow to oil cooler. To give benefit of the doubt, there's a chance the dealership wouldn't have had any way to know about the leak of coolant hose for oil cooler, so he thought a fair compromise might be for the dealership to at least 'meet him half way' and pay for the EMISSIONS-related repair, because they had made assurance that vehicle would definitely pass Emissions Test (and said that it had just recently passed). Vehicle purchased: April 7th Check Engine light reported to dealer: April 10th Repair work done and emailed detailed invoices/receipts to dealership: April 17th My boss was told some story about how the owner of the dealership was selling the vehicle for his brother because it had been a personal vehicle of the wife of his brother. They'd only owned the vehicle for a few months and then sold it.. Perhaps they'd had a problem with the emissions which is why they re-sold it? (My boss is a completely decent and fair gent -- he has actually done work with the US Secret Service in handling visiting dignitaries, so he's really committed to being decent and treating people respectfully in business dealings... just fair and reasonable.. But he hasn't been met with that in this dealership's lack of response to the fact that they sold him a vehicle which WOULDN'T PASS AN EMISSIONS TEST even though it was an understanding of the sale that they'd provide him with the recent test they'd promised. Of course, as part of the sale paperwork, they had him sign a piece of paper saying that no CO Emissions Cert was required due to the vehicle being taken out of state -- but they definitely did say that they'd still provide him with a copy of a very recent CO Emissions Check as a condition of the sale).
