I get that most shops do this, but I told them I knew about a few other things and when I picked up my car they had compiled a list of things in addition to those things that they recommended. Only I already had those things done recently, so it made me question what and how much they recommend. Likely will not go back because of how pressured I felt to get other things done that my car did not need.

I have even been told what I wanted even though I literally just told them what I wanted! I decided on a car I wanted but it was a hard to find VW. I started calling all VW dealerships in the area. Stumbled across Automotive imports. Here is he conversation. "Hello, I'm hoping you can help me, I'm looking for a hard to find car." "What is it you are looking for?" "A VW Golf R with manual transmission." "No, we don't have any of those on the lot right now. My coworker drives one!" "Oh yeah? (Joking) does he want to sell it?" (In the background) "hey! You want to sell it?" "Yeah! He will sell it to you!" Seriously!! So this is how I knew me and my car were destined for each other! Through the entire test driving, financing, purchasing and delivery process I was never questioned on if I really wanted this not so practical sporty car. - I'm a mom of 2 in my mid 40s. I was never spoken down to, disrespected or treated how I've been treated by countless other car places of all varieties. I'm here for my second service and still they are always kind, respectful and honest. Furthermore they are actually FRIENDLY! I was told the vehicle was cheap because of some sensor issues but the fuel injectors were messed up amongst other things. I've spent 9,000 fixing it and it still isn't running. They told me to only take it to mechanics that specialize on foreign vehicles but the shop that does inspections for the vehicles they sell does not. They suggested I take the car to said shop and they themselves told me they don't specialize on foreign vehicles and had no idea what was wrong with my car. Yet they're the ones who inspected it for Cherry Creek to sell it.

Unfortunately, everything changed when the sales manager took over. I brought in a professional pre-purchase inspection from an independent mechanic, which found that the 2017 Honda Accord V6 was due for a timing belt service by age and had an issue with the front bumper and obstacle sensor. Instead of discussing my concerns, the sales manager became argumentative and condescending. He insisted the car had a timing chain because he had "looked it up on Google" before coming to the desk. I had researched this vehicle for weeks and even pulled up the information proving that the V6 Accord uses a timing belt. When I pointed out the bumper and sensor issues found in the inspection, he questioned how reliable my mechanic was rather than taking any accountability or even reading the report thoroughly. I even asked how their own mechanic missed issues that were obvious and documented in the inspection. The vehicle was priced at $20,000, but with taxes and fees they wanted nearly $23,000 out the door, despite the fact that I would immediately need to spend thousands on repairs and maintenance. I was willing to pay up to $18,500 out the door, which I felt was fair considering the inspection findings, but there was absolutely no willingness to negotiate. I walked away, and after this experience, I can understand why this dealership has the rating that it does. If you're considering buying here, I highly recommend getting your own pre-purchase inspection and doing your own research before signing anything.
