This place is just kind of a classic go to spot for the family, they have the boardwalk field with ticket games so you can cash in later, the pizza isn't bad at all!! They have go plenty of laws open, the cosmic bowling area and pool hall is currently under construction but it looks like it's going be a huge addition to the bowling alley. The service is always great and they are quick to answer any questions you may have. Pro tip, call ahead and see if there is a wait time

Love the new lanes, bar and restaurant look. Ordered appetizer of fries for 7.99, they were good but not with it, there was barely any on the platter. They still have their discounted prices before 5pm Monday-Friday.

We had a blast here the other night. They have renovated the bowling alley and bar and it is really nice! We were in a group of 30 bowlers, and they put us in the private event room, which was nice. We had waiters that came and took our orders and brought us food and drinks. They were all SO nice and patient with our chaotic group. Jovon in particular was so kind, accommodating and made us laugh. Cool dude. I have to give all of the staff two "thumbs up" because we came in ridiculous outfits and the entire staff totally rolled with it, and were super supportive and encouraging of our ridiculousness. 30 of us ladies dressed up as a "1970s men's bowling league" and staff would walk by and say "gentlemen" and the guy at the counter was cracking jokes about whether we wanted men's or womens' shoe sizes. It was hilarious. I loved that they fully embraced our crazy. It makes me want to throw other parties here in the future, honestly, because we were treated so well. Thanks for the great time, Parkway Bowl! We will be back!!

The new remodel was a shock! There's new things to do and updated bowling lanes. The food and drinks are still yummy and well-priced! Although I do miss the billiards room and the darts bar. ):

If you haven't been to Parkway Bowl lately, you have to check it out. The renovations are still process but the new bar area, Social 619, is a great place to hang out. We took our son's teen friends for a birthday party. They loved the axe throwing! The golf simulator looks so fun too! Our server was friendly & attentive. The manager was very attentive & provided a very personalized experience. The updated party room looks great too. I love that this east county institution is getting such a great refresh!

Fun times with friends! Early morning on a Sunday right as they opened. Great pricing for lines with shoes included, there were a few hiccups with the bowling pins getting stuck and not returning our bowling balls but it was promptly resolved so didn't loose a lot of game time. We've been here before too for a birthday party in the private bowling lanes, many moons ago so not sure if that's still a thing but it was definitely a great way to celebrate and have fun at the same time. The only thing I wish was that their food place was open while the bowling lanes are open, however they do let you bring outside food in, so that's a plus!

It's located on the SDSU campus, a great place for college students to hang out. There is no food available for sale in the bowling alley, but there is a restaurant next door, and you can go in and out, which is probably why they do it this way. I likely would have purchased something if there was something at the alley, but I didn't and felt like that was lost opportunity for the bowling alley to make more money. It's nice though that the bowling alley isn't a money grab. What I also loved about this place is that they don't have an arcade, which we all know definitely is a money grab that we have to budget for when taking kids to any other bowling establishment. They instead have pool tables, air hockey, ping pong, and a TV that can hook up to your Nintendo switch. It's nice that we can just enjoy a few games of bowling and then spend some mostly screen free time with friends. There is paid, 1 hour validated parking at the Trader Joe's nearby. It was an easy walk to Aztec Lanes.

She personally reached out, genuinely cared about my feedback, and even let me know that they updated their wine menu. That definitely says a lot about a business. Based on my previous comments, they updated their wine menu and added better options. Obviously, this isn't meant to be a high-end wine bar, but it was nice to come back and see the improvement. The new selections were a much better fit for the atmosphere and experience. I also tried the "No Strings Attached" drink, which was such a fun and unique cocktail. It's made with Champagne poured into a tube, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overly sweet. It was refreshing and definitely something different. I also gave the espresso martini a try, but it was a little too sweet for my personal preference. If you're not someone who enjoys sweeter cocktails, I'm sure they'd be happy to adjust it. This is definitely a younger crowd, with most guests appearing to be in their 20s, but it's a really fun and energetic spot. The space itself is beautiful, and there are plenty of activities to keep a group entertained. The complimentary basketball is still one of my favorite things about this place and seems to be a huge hit. They also have shuffleboard, pool tables, and bowling. You can reserve bowling through OpenTable, but keep in mind it is on the pricier side at around $50 per person for an hour. If you're looking for a lively atmosphere, I'd recommend coming on the weekend. If you want something a little more relaxed where you can enjoy the space without as much of a crowd, I'd suggest visiting during the week. Overall, I really appreciate a business that listens to customer feedback and takes action. This is a unique spot with a lot to offer, especially if you're looking for games, drinks, and a fun experience with friends or visitors from out of town.

Whether you want to stand and chat it up with friends or lounge in a posh chair, it's up to you. Cool and attentive bartenders as well as cocktail waitresses make this place work. There are basketball hoops, pool tables, foosball and bowling. It does get packed but still worth the visit if you find yourself nearby. I just found it to be too dangerous having to stand elbow to elbow with patrons while trying not to get bonked on the head as people played billiards. I'd be back again for sure though. It's fun to get out once in a while and live a little.

I come for the wings, fries, and the long Islands. Hands down they make for a cool night! The…read moreservice was not so great today. I'm not sure if it was because it was Labor Day weekend but it was definitely below standards of service. I had a male and female bartender Sunday evening as we had to sit at the first come first serve area, which was not bad, but things were a little off. So the mail came over and we asked for Long Island iced teas. He explained the difference between the two that were being served, and we decided to go with the original. At $15.99 I can say that I have had better long Islands as this definitely was not blended well I tasted more sour than the combination that makes a long island a Long Island. Not complaining about it but going over the menu we decided to order wings and not deviate from the original plan although there were other things on the menu that did look tempting. The female bartender comes over looking at me asked what can I help you with I start talking and then she abruptly turned to the lady that she just finished serving and runs her tab without saying excuse me just one moment. It was rather embarrassing honestly and I totally wouldn't understood if she needed time to adjust the other customers tab. It was how she did it that made me feel awkward as I was mid sentence.... She did come back and apologize and said what were you saying? Now the younger version of me would've asked for another bartender, but it just blew it off. I ordered two orders of chicken wings, one lemon pepper, and one the classic buffalo. The chicken wings here never miss but today it was a hit and miss at this location. The drinks were definitely not worth the price as normally $15.99 a drink would not have bothered me because like I said, the Long Islands normally be popping. The wings tonight could have definitely been better on the classic buffalo. The wings had sauce on them and they're still warm, but they are not fresh fresh as the sauce begins to look thick in the wings like it wasn't freshly tossed.. Now the lemon pepper was great. I must say Dave & Buster's does know how to cook wings but I'm guessing now you have to request that they cook them fresh and I've never had to do that before but maybe again like I said it being Labor Day weekend people probably had been ordering them so much they had them on rotation which is a good and bad thing. Cook my food fresh to order, please. Did this experience ruin my night at Dave & Buster's?? they have me looking at them side eye for sure!!!!! When I do return, I will be paying close attention to how my drink is mixed for sure and also if I do get any wings at this location, I'm asking for them to be freshly prepared. Would I recommend D&Bs absolutely it makes for a great night when they get it right and you can bring the kids if you want.
