I ordered the chicken quesadilla and enjoyed it. It had good flavor and was very filling. Our server was very friendly and service was quick. I had fun playing the games that worked. Some of the games were not working properly.

As a dad of two young children, I hate Dave and Buster's. When I was in my mid 20's, post 9pm, I loved it. There are security guards here with guns. Ridiculous. Come before 4pm and you're safe with the kids. Post 7pm, on the weekends, I definitely do not recommend it. The games and shop are so so so horrible if you have kids. I wander around with them wanting to shoot myself. They step into the store, and they are so young they don't have a concept of financial equity, they want shit they can't have, another shoot myself situation. I also easily spend $100 in the cards for 20 minutes of "fun". Big pluses is their food. It's accelerated tremendously. I got their cheesesteak, double meat, double cheese, it was under $20 bucks, and the quality was 9/10. The new interior is more friendly as well. Brighter floors, nicer decorations, it's no longer a dungeon. My kids love this place. I cannot stand it. I tell them 1 hour, get what you get and don't get upset. I'll come for the cheesesteak though and leave with a smile. The servers are also friendly, well trained, and food comes quick.

They have great food here and the green beans are delicious. The service they're very very nice. The ambience is fun. Come on in and play dance dance Revolution.

My husband, I and a few friends felt like going to an arcade place. After a quick Yelp search, I found this place. We were a bit skeptical if this place would be fun for adults, but we decided to give it a shot anyway. As soon as we arrived, parking was super simple and easy to find. Once we arrived, they had a variety of packages to choose from, catering to different requirements. We purchased a power card and loaded the card with adequate balance for all of us. As soon as we walked in, we were pretty excited to try out all the different games on the floor. We started with deal/no deal. This was a fun one. Next, we tried air hockey. They had two tables for air hockey so all four of us could play at the same time. We next tried the Mario racing game and that was fun too. Overall, we played over 12 games and had a great time. It was more of a double date and we are glad that we chose this place. I highly recommend checking out this place as a family or even for your next date night.

Christina is by far the #1 best food waitress and trainer I've ever had at any Dave & Buster's. She was very personable and has such a fun personality. I met her boss during her shift & told him that she definitely deserves a raise. She seems like a genuine people person, followed back up with us on any requests, and she sure delivered our food promptly, the sweet potato fries. I just met her today, but I'll make sure to ask for her every time from now on. The ambiance for tonight was not feeling it. They're modeling.

Came here for lunch and afternoon of videos games with kids. Lunch was okay, that was mainly the 3 stars. The food was basic, the nachos were cold, I think we were expecting the sauce and chicken to be at least warm. The kids menu was nice, but pricey because it doesn't come with a drink, but you can pay extra. There wasn't much direction when we walked in, we saw an empty booth and sat down. A few minutes later, a waitress came by. She was nice but I almost felt like she had to be. We placed our orders and it took some time before it arrived. What really made us feel weird was once we ordered, she asked for a credit card and then held onto it. During our whole meal and until it was time to pay, she had our card. And once we paid, she gave it back to us. Lunch was uncomfortable, but once we went to play games, everything was great. Lots of games to choose from, hardly had to wait to play a game. Everyone had a great time. We went to redeem tickets for gifts and the kids had a blast. Next time we eat before we go.

    My favorite game here.

This review does not include food. There was construction going on here as well. In my opinion, Dave & Buster's could use more games. I think it's in the middle of identity crisis of trying to please too many people. I am here for the games and at least half of the place is basically a bar. They need more games period. With Round One and Arcade Monsters in San Diego now they need to step up their game literally. This is now my third choice for arcades in San Diego.

Always make sure to take advantage to their eat and play combo when coming here! It's a great deal.

We love coming here! This place is great, I always come here with my son and we love it! The games here are always fun, my son always takes at least two to 3hrs. They have a dine and play promotion where you pay however much you want for the card, plus 5 dollars or more for an add on depending on what kind of food you want to order. They also have 10 wings for $10, as well as $5 draft beers with no limit, however they're only light beers, it doesn't include the premium. They also have a cotton candy machine that creates various designs for $7 which is really fun for little kids and even for adults and I think that is so cool and pretty.

A return to Dave and Busters! What does D&B on 2025 hold for us? Let's go on adventure. I mentioned during my last visit that the menu had shrunk over the years and I missed the variety. Really my only complaint at the time. Well, that wish must have been whispered into a cursed monkey paw because the big menu is back! But the new variety of food will be hauled out cold and wrinkled, much like the plot device in author W. W. Jacobs' horror story. You won't be able to address it with anyone because you may not ever see your server again. Safe to assume this is likely not the server's fault since the staffing ratio seems to be one employee for every 17,500 guests now. After the cold wet mess was delivered, we did not get a visit for 45 minutes. I eventually had to go to the host stand to ask if anyone was going to eventually ask us to pay. Speaking of hosts. Despite a reservation, our party was sat at a high-top at the bar. Did we have a child celebrating a birthday with us? Of course, don't be silly. That's seemingly where all the birthday kids were seated. At the bar. Was there a massive open dinning area filled with unoccupied tables when we arrived? Yes. But better to not put people with kids there. The bar is the perfect place. Look, congrats to Dave and Busters. It was busy. So despite them changing now-ridiculous prices for okay food, they seem to have their mojo back? I dunno. All I can say is that you're not doing your customers or your staff any favors by continuing to seat people and take reservations if you have nobody around to serve them.

ARCADE AREA REVIEW ONLY We came here after having dinner elsewhere to play some games for my daughter's birthday. This place was absolutely packed (Friday night) my kids are a little more mature so I knew we could handle it. This place is full of a variety of arcade games for all ages. We had to get our play cards re activated because of how long they hadn't been used but that was a breeze, so yes we have been here before. I will say for pre teens and up your ok at anytime here but for anything younger than that I recommend coming in before 3-4pm as the adults take over after hours. It is a fun atmosphere for all ages but again night time is for older kids and adults as they do have multiple bars and it turns into a giant sports bar with games . The atmosphere is fun and vibrant and everyone will have a good time. This will always be a go to for my family. I gave four stars because some of the staff juss does not seemed thrilled to be there but other than that it's a great venue for fun. Win tickets and hit the ticket store or just play games for fun, your pick! They always seem to have something new when we come back also! See you again Dave & Busters

We had the worst service today. With our seasons pass we've been coming here weekly with no issues... and today just sucked! Especially the girl at the front with a Sabre tooth tiger bull piercing in her nose. I needed assistance with our unlimited seasons pass and she just looked at me and said she couldn't assist. She refused to assist maybe the nose piercing was irritating her.

Dave and Buster's is a great place for family night, date night, birthday party, or get together with friends. They have all sorts of entertainment from arcade games to sports TVs and a full bar and dining menu. The place is massive with plenty of seats. They have a large private parking lot. Service was a little slow but our server did make an attempt to check in on us when she could. They have these arcade card/dining deals which we opted for. We got the $30 deal which includes a $20 play card and your choice of select entrees. The food was okay, nothing special. The play card goes by fast. My kids came back within 15 minutes saying they were out of points. They allowed us to bring a store bought cake for a birthday celebration which was a major plus. Like everything else, it's a pricey experience for an hour or so. Expect to pay $30-50 per person.

Ask the Community - Dave & Buster's San Diego

Is there a late night happy hour at this location? If so, what is the time this is available?

Hey Karina! The Late Night Happy Hour is: Sun - Thurs 10 pm - Close!

Do you guys have a photo booth?

They have a Photo Booth and a really cool one that puts the picture on a round metal thing, it looks like a sketch. It looks great at first and less over time

Do you show WWE and AEW pay per views?

Hey Mike! We'll be showing AEW Revolution!

If I have dining reservations celebrating a birthday, can I bring in a cake?

Absolutely! We just ask that it is store-bought and no ice cream or an ice cream cake.

What happened to the late night happy hours and the half off Wednesdays? Are those no longer a thing?

    Hey Sunny! Still a thing!

Are there any happy order specials on Friday nights?

Yes, our Happy Hour is Mon - Fri 4-7pm!

Are children allowed to dine and play ( with parents )?

    Yes!

I was looking for a mini golf place nearby , on google and this Dave & Busters popped up. Do they have mini golf at this location or is that an error?

We do not have mini-golf at our location, but we have a whole lot of fun, food, and arcade games all under one roof. In our opinion, way better than mini-golf. We hope you'd consider visiting Dave & Buster's soon.

Not sure if they are open, I've called several times during business hours and no answer, just trying to to check before we drive to mission valley with the kids, anyone knows if they doing dine in, and games?

Yes! We’re open for fun, food and games every day. Tonight (Monday) we’re open until 10pm.

So no reservations? It's either we book an "event" or show up on site and wait for a table once the full party is there?

    Download their app for reservations.

How is the game experience? Is there barely any games open with covid?

    Everything's open!

Are you guys open? ? I've been calling for days and no one answers

I'm sorry you've been calling and not getting an answer. But yes, our San Diego location is open for fun, food, and games. We open at 12pm, 7 days a week and we hope to see you soon!

When will the DDR machine be online for us E-amusement pass orders? It's currently been offline for 2 weeks now since the reopening.

In the time I was there, the DDR machine WAS working. Now (the DDR machine) it's gone!

    Hi halo

Would this be a good option to host a 1st Birthday party?

I wouldn't recommend it for a 1st bday party. I would say D&B is more for a 10th bday party and over.

I loved the stained glass lights at the booths we sat at, they were super cute! We played foosball for a dollar which was fun while it lasted but it didn't give us enough balls to play an entire game. It's been pretty hot in sd and this place has a lot of large open windows that were all open, I usually love that feature but it was an abnormally humid night so we were all pretty hot and sweaty inside. Food was good with affordable prices too, we came here quite late at night, so we were limited to only their late-night menu, but everything was quite tasty, typical bar food. Our standout favorite was the maple sriracha wings for $10.61, their flavor is exactly like described and was a good balance of sweet and spicy! The Butter Burger $10.57 was good too but I think too rich and heavy for me. The prices were great tho! Parking is pretty terrible as is typical for downtown, but we walked from Punch Bowl Social and had Ubered to there at the beginning of the night. ---- Overall: a cool place to hangout, drink, and grab a bite late at night, I'm sad about not being able to play a whole game of foosball, but a generally great time

We were able to find seats at one of the bars right away and were greeted immediately. The guy serving us was super friendly and got us drinks right away. It was really busy but he was on it. We ended up sharing a chicken Caesar sandwich and it was pretty dang good with kind of a horseradish spice type kick and I was shocked at how insanely fast our food came out. Like I said this was a really busy place, but we couldn't have waited longer than five minutes once we placed our order. We got drink refills very quickly as well. My friend wanted to go back after the concert where we sat at the main bar. This time it was a female bartender who again was right on top of her stuff. She got our drinks right away. This time we ended up ordering some animal tots, which also came out super quick. I can see why it gets so busy here, there's a fun ambience and the service is great. Come check it out for yourself.

It's a great open-air setup with both indoor and outdoor seating, a relaxed sports-bar atmosphere, and TVs everywhere playing just about every game you could ask for. There are plenty of finger foods to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering how close you are to the ballpark. The chicken wings are MASSIVE--juicy, packed with flavor, and definitely worth ordering. The tots were light and crispy and cooked perfectly. What really impressed me was the service. The place was busy, but the staff was still surprisingly attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Best part? You're literally steps from the ballpark. It's a perfect spot to grab some food and drinks while waiting for the gates to open. Great atmosphere, good food, solid prices, and an ideal location for Padres game day. Definitely adding this one to the pregame rotation! Go Padres!

Captain's Log, Stardate 21483…read more This past Sunday, I charted a course to Nicky Rottens in Coronado, a delightful establishment located at the end of Orange Avenue. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by an uplifting open-air environment, truly a breath of fresh air that felt like stepping onto the observation deck of the USS Enterprise. The amazing views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a serene beauty that rivals the finest star systems. Over the years, my wife, her girlfriend, and I have become frequent travelers to this culinary haven, beaming back for nearly 15 years--a testament to its enduring allure. The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers. My wife's enthusiasm for the offerings has always been infectious, and during this visit, she and her girlfriend were on a culinary adventure of their own, indulging in the flavors that have made Nicky Rottens a local favorite. The burgers are truly out of this world--juicy, flavorful, and expertly crafted to ensure a warp-speed experience with every bite. You'll find that each dish is prepared with precision, as if overseen by a skilled chef with the abilities of a Vulcan and the passion of a true culinary Starfleet officer. In conclusion, Nicky Rottens is a prime destination for anyone seeking a vibrant atmosphere, stunning views, and a solid meal. I can confidently say that if you ever find yourself in Coronado, this establishment is a must-visit. After all, it's just one small step for man, and one giant leap into deliciousness! Live long and prosper. End log. Captain 619

Aside from that, they're generic normal tasting tater tots. For the burger, I liked the bun and other ingredients, but thought the savoriness of the meat was just okay. Also, can't say I'm a huge fan of the tiny lettuce whenever I see it. Overall, this joint is not bad, but I can think of very little about it that stands out. I don't feel that it fully leans into being a sports bar or dive bar or even as a burger joint. It's just.....a bar. Apparently, it prides itself as being an original coronado spot, but I didn't get that kinda vibe here. I don't know.
