I couldn't believe the absolute attention to detail in my project, forming my deck around the natural landscape and rocks, and the superior finish work. Working with Andy was an absolute pleasure. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident from the start. In the photos, you can see the support beam we had in place to hold up a section of our roof, which was clearly damaged. Andy provided a fair and competitive quote before installing temporary support posts on either side of the compromised area. He then removed the vertical support post and inspected the lateral support beams, discovering further damage. Using a Sculpwood Putty system, he expertly filled in the damaged areas. He then inset a metal L-brace at the bottom of the lateral posts to further strengthen their ability to hold the load. You can see the final result in the provided picture! Throughout the process, Andy maintained a tidy work environment, cleaning up after each phase--a detail that truly impressed my wife, as it's often overlooked by other contractors. I needed my balcony to be completely rebuilt. Andy showed up on time to do the estimate. He showed me my options and I was very happy to see that he recommended composite decking for the rebuild. YES, no more painting! He came back with a detailed quote outlining all the work to be done. The price was quite good considering the scope of work required. I approved the quote and gave him a deposit. He emailed back with the proposed start date. The date was perfect for us so I gave him the green light. Andy was great with his team. He is very responsive and keeps you updated on progress. His team was very respectful during construction. I had 5 kids at home in "COVID online learning" and they did their best to keep things quiet and cleaned up. The team built a deck for us and despite rising construction supplies, they were able to stay on budget. I noticed that the team would meet each day to go over the tasks and that seemed to keep everyone moving. The other people on site (Gabe and crew) were very easy to work with and talk to. Side note: for our deck, we got 3 quotes. The first person was the cheapest, gave a verbal quote, and we were unsure if he knew what he was doing after extensive questioning. The second person wasn't going to drill through the concrete for the footings and gave us a 1/2 page, 6 lines of itemized work. He was the 2nd most expensive, but as we asked more and more questions, it seemed the bid was going to go up and up (like, are you going to do the stucco repair? Well, if you want that included, I'll have to change the bid..."). Parkway's bid was the most expensive but included pages (I think 7 pages) of work that would would be completed. The bid was highly detailed. This also included permitting the deck, which the others did not include. I am really glad that we went with the more thorough process. This is by far the best construction company I've ever worked with! And I've worked with another biggie in Temecula. Parkway Construction services does everything by the book from getting permits, (please do not ever hire a construction company that is wishy washy on permits ) to getting architectural plans if the project is big enough. They built me a deck that needed steel columns and six footings over 6 feet deep. Customer service from beginning to end was superb, and they consistently returned emails within 24 hours if a problem cropped up or I had a question. Andy, and Gabe, his partner, were so detailed in the plan build even my neighborhood HOA was impressed. That's hard to do. Even the inspector who came out periodically to inspect was impressed. Andy, and his carefully selected crew were always on time and even when work was subcontracted out, (painting, iron work, concrete stairs) they made sure the work was done properly and they stayed on top of the sub-contractor if delays happened. Sidenote: when you work with subs work will be delayed in some form or fashion. In my case, supplies in the pandemic like lumber were hard to get at times. Parkway's entire crew were wonderful too! This is a more expensive company, but you get what you pay for and they always stay under budget! I highly highly recommend this company! read more

What a pleasure working with Andy and his team from Parkway Construction. I needed a 6x12 beam replaced under my balcony. Since it wasn't possible to determine how bad the damage was, they provided several quotes depending on how much they would need to replace. They showed up on time with the manpower, materials and equipment they needed. Andy, who provided the estimate, was there all day so we knew as they progressed how much they would need to do. No standing around yacking with the radio blasting either, they were focused on their work. They made sure everything was protected and cleaned things up completely. Hired Gabe to build an extremely customized deck that had to sit next to a pool that also was under construction. We had two other contractors (besides the pool guys) he had to coordinate with, so our project was challenging, to say the least. Gabe was conscientious, creative, committed and collaborative in working with us and we could not be happier with the results. We have one of the most beautiful second floor balconies you'll ever see in this area. It includes panels my wife custom ordered that don't fit with standard framing, and Gabe and his guys still found a way to make everything work and did so with the utmost attention to detail and perfection. Parkway Construction is awesome. Andy and Gabe (owners) are extremely professional and really know what they are doing. I had to replace a large wooden deck off my mobile home. It was dangerously dry-rotted. We didn't know what to expect under the deck as far as the structure below. Was it as rotten as the top? We wouldn't know until demo started. So, the quote was a little open-ended. Long story short... It was all rotten and had to be removed and replaced. Here's the bottom-line.... The project was done ON TIME and UNDER BUDGET.
