Love the Parkway Inn so much! Great hotel, very comfortable and clean. And it's right in the town - amazing proximity to everything!

We stayed for 2 nights in a king room with sofa. The room is spacious. The bathroom (tub and toilet area) is tight. The layout is nice because the sink and entry to the water closet is around the corner from the room. The bed was comfortable. My son slept on the sleeper sofa and felt it was comfortable. We were in room 113 and there was some noise from above on the second night, but nothing crazy. We liked the location because it was easier to get our stuff (including 4 bikes) in and out. The parking lot for our room was nice because it was behind the building and more private and secluded. There is complimentary Starbucks Pike place coffee in the lobby. The front desk staff was very friendly & made recommendations for dining. read more

The gym does have two Peleton bikes but one wasnt operational and the second one has a broken connection. While i was able to login, the metrics wouldn't work so i had an error message on the screen during my workout. No towels in the gym. The AC unit in our room was loud. The location is great! The staff was pleasant, but really didn't go out of their way to say hello or greet you with a good morning or such and passing. There's a pool Jacuzzi and sauna which is open 24 seven. if you wanna do the sauna, I suggest you heat it up on the timer and then go enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi go back and heat it up again and then it will be nice and hot room was quite large actually a king size bed and its own private area a kitchenette going into a living room, very impressed with the size. Some other comments said the hotels are outdated, but it goes with the vibe of the area and the town. I found everything spotless. Rates are all consistent with other lodging. Our bill for two nights came out yo $1327. Most other places include breakfast this place has no breakfast is grab n gogo to an additional cost. read more

I really liked the location of Parkway Inn -- blocks to downtown but without the noise. I do wish the rooms were a little bigger (1 star off), especially the bathroom area. I stayed here during the summer and felt a little cramped with one suitcase and one carry-on, so cannot imagine how cramped it would be with luggage and winter skis. The beds are clean and comfortable, which is the important part. FYI There are patio chairs for each unit. Some guests like to sit outside their units and talk loudly, so be brave and tell them to keep their noise down. The guests I am referring to are members of my own family. read more

We had the best stay here while in Jackson!!! The decor was super cute and had a western feel, but not old/cheesy. The rooms were specious and came with a coffee maker and nice sized refrigerator. The staff was all so friendly, and I loved the reasonably priced snack options and comfy sitting area in the lobby. In my opinion it's perfectly located to everything you want to do, definitely within walking distance. I like that it's not right in the middle of the busiest streets! Do not stay here. They have awful customer service and the manager Ryan is extremely unprofessional. If they act like that before you even arrive why do you want to risk going to their hotel when you're already spending a lot for a vacation there. Online they say they provide cribs. We decided to pick hotels that provided this so we did not have an extra things to arrange when traveling with two small children. Whenever we travel with our children we choose hotels that provide cribs. After reserving six nights with them Ryan emailed saying they could not guarantee a crib. I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. Our family has travelled a lot and we have never had a hotel that said they provide cribs email you and say it's not guaranteed after booking with them. I decided to call to speak to the manager to see if we could figure this out. We know it is a family owned hotel and thought they would have good customer service. Ryan said he was the manager and said they wouldn't guarantee a crib but we could rent one if one was not available. I asked if they would cover the cost since they say they provide cribs and he laughed and said no. When you're traveling with a baby you can't wait and see if a crib will be available. Also, a hotel shouldn't say they offer that amenity if they can't guarantee it. You don't say you have a pool but we can't guarantee you can use it if 10 people are already in it when you tell them you're coming for their pool. He did not try to rectify the situation. I said, " I thought he would care to try to help us out but I guess not." He then hung up in my ear. Hanging up on a customer is extremely unprofessional. If I was the owner I would definitely want to know if the person representing my hotel was treating their guests like this and buy a few more pack and plays for their guests. We will be cancelling our reservation but not before we make sure to get back our deposit for false advertisement. read more

This was my favorite place to stay on the two week road trip we just took. We decided to stay an extra day we loved it so much. The staff was very friendly and we got to meet the owner, Jackie, such a wonderful woman. The rooms were perfect, adorable, rustic, welcoming, and very comfortable. I loved that the bathroom had a full sized tub with jets. Breakfast was also included, it was primarily a cold selection, ie: fruits, hard boiled eggs, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, and pastries. It was a perfect location and close to all the shops and restaurants so we walked everywhere. We checked out the indoor pool and sauna which was awesome, just didn't have time to enjoy but definitely would have if we had more down tome. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. read more

Stayed last week for two nights ...Room #50 large clean, easy to access, covid has led to ridiculously overpriced rates but...my only issue was that I asked to late checkout of 12 instead of 11...that was approved, left room to purchase sundries and came back to load luggage....locked out?!?! To the front desk where they treated me like they were doing me a favor to let me back in the room, quite condescending manager needs customer service lessons, but...the room was nice! Fast forward a week...came back for one more night b4 catching flight out and they gave us room #106 , NEVER get a downstairs room here , the noise from the room above is the worst ever, not just footsteps, the floors creak and squeak very loudly...no way to sleep or relax. read more

We came to Jackson Hole for the 1st time and this hotel was included with the package from about 6 different to choose from. I sure am glad this was the one we chose. The Hotel is approximately 90 years old but has been totally remodeled this past spring. I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels in the larger cities such as NYC, San Fran etc. although this one doesn't have the glamour that those in the cities does I will have to give it a 5 star for cleanliness. The staff was fantastic and went out of the way to accommodate our needs. Such a cute hotel! It has a yellow house/white picket fence vibe with gorgeous big hanging plants that you find all over town. Perfect location. We could easily walk to town square area where all the restaurants and shops are but far enough where it was quiet at night. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. How can a business fail really bad before you even make it there? False promises. And charging $25 for the cancelation. We booked the place because the said they have cribs available but reached out shortly after the booking that they can't guarantee they have some available. But we could rent some. Ryan, the Customer Service Manager, made clear, he doesn't care. The owner and managers? No feedback, they don't care either. As parents we can't go places that we can't trust. Big fail! read more

Parkway Inn is such a cute hotel. Staff was friendly. Decor is perfect for the region! Front and back door to your room. Deep tubs for soaking. Heated indoor pool is great due to unexpected weather conditions. It was right around the corner from our rafting tour meet up spot and easy walking to the main streets in town. Do not recommend due to cancellation policy being extremely inflexible. We booked 2 nights here on a recent road trip. My husband ended up having a severe reaction to altitude while in Yellowstone (2 days before we were to arrive at the Parkway Inn). We cancelled due to the medical issue, but because it was not 7 days in advance they charged us the full $800+ for a reservation we couldn't keep due to an emergency situation. Manager was unhelpful. DO NOT stay on the first floor. If you have someone in the room above you, you will not have peace. So noisy! We had booked 3 nights. I asked to switch rooms on the first night. They said they had rooms available but couldn't switch us without charging us extra because it was an "upgrade" room. I was totally fine with that. But when we realized that the cost of the "upgraded" room was actually less per night than I paid they totally changed their response and told me they couldn't switch me because I booked through Expedia instead of directly through them. I know that's completely false as I have had plenty of reservations changed that I had booked on Expedia. I knew they had available rooms also because I could look up the availability on Expedia for the night. They said to come back the next day and there would be the same room type we had booked. Came back the next day and well there were "no rooms available." Finally the last day there was a new employee working and he was much more helpful. He switched our room for us for our last night. This definitely put a damper on our trip! read more

The hotel beds also do not have proper mattress protectors. Hotels are supposed to have ones that fully zip on all sides to prevent bed bugs. The beds at this hotel just had a cheap piece of a mattress cover that did not provide any protection, as the mattress itself was still visible and didn't properly fit the mattress. read more

Two things make it a 4 rather than a 5. I - no microwaves in the rooms And 2 - the microwave in the breakfast was behind a cabinet door. Most people dining when we did didn't know where one was. Found out 2nd day when someone left door open. Manager might consider placing an identifying sign to make it known there is a microwave in the cabinet. Otherwise, the rooms were great and the staff very friendly and accommodating! Will stay there again. read more

I can't speak to accommodations, but this place is truly a bad business. I had to cancel unexpectedly due to a family member being put into the ICU for Covid related complications. The cancellation link sent to me with the confirmation email wouldn't work and when I called the hotel at 8am the next morning, I was told that I was one day late to cancel on their 7 day cancellation policy. The entire $542 amount was forfeited. I offered to settle for a partial refund, which the GM also refused. He told me that it wasn't his fault the cancellation link wouldn't work and that it was my fault I didn't by travel insurance for a 1 night stay. He also made some nonsensical argument about how he turned other people away because he was holding this room for me but that he couldn't rent my room to someone else in the next 6 days because he has so many vacancies. Places like these eventually go out of business or "put under new management" because you only can be crappy to people for so long before people stop coming. We stayed one night at Parkway Inn - got a suite which is just one room, bathroom with toilet/shower/sink, w/ mini refrigerator, one sink outside bathroom area, and sofa bed. Friends got the room & I think they liked it. Sofa bed was ok - nothing special. Continental breakfast included w/ room. Downtown Jackson is only 3 blocks away, wish I had more time to explore it. Make sure to take pics of the antler arches at the Square - there are 4 arches (one on each corner) but they all look the same. read more

This looks a bit like a remodeled motel from the front, but was better than I imagined on the inside. Overall, it was a great stay. Staff was super friendly. Room was very clean. Decor was not "modern," but had a *touch of a Western theme yet well-maintained. GREAT place for kids. Our 7 and 9 year-olds loved the indoor pools and the playground across the street. Walking distance to dozens of shops and restaurants downtown. Would stay here again. read more

We stumbled upon this place... And what a Gem it was!! We had a king bed suite. It was very quiet, and clean!! The bed was one of the comfiest we stayed on the entire weekend... We had a reservation for one night at the Parkway, traveled to Yellowstone and then on return another one night stay at the Parkway planned. During our Yellowstone visit I broke my leg hiking. I notified the Parkway as soon as our trajectory had changed. I spoke with the manager and she told me it was not within the 7 day cancellation window and that I should have had trip insurance. I explained it was a medical emergency and I certainly had not planned it 7 days ago. When this happened we were crushed and so many people showed kindness canceling our reservations and helping us navigate. The Lodge at Yellowstone, the airlines, a local float trip company, dinner reservations all who had similar cancellation requirements - everyone but the Parkway. We were charged for the night we did not stay which I am sure they had no trouble renting on a Friday evening in Jackson Hole. My advice, do not stay here or be sure and pay the extra trip insurance and at that rate stay some place nicer. It is not that great, rooms are old and although family owned they are not caring, good people. read more

Nicely redone rooms with comfortable beds. The problem here is the continental breakfast with all low quality packaged foods. The only protein is a rubbery hard boiled egg. All store brand low nutrition breads. No recognition of the needs of folks who can't eat gluten or dairy. Totally insufficient skier breakfast. Not enough tables for breakfast so it was suggested we eat in our rooms but dirty dishes are never picked up. On my second (annual) visit here, I'm a huge fan. On this trip, I got the king room, with a nifty fridge to keep my essentials cool. I love the back-and-front entrance options, too. As before, it's important to keep in mind this is an older building, but it has terrific charm. The rooms are well appointed, and well maintained. Furniture was older style but well kept, and the bed is entirely snuggle-worthy. Best part of my stay was the staff. On my first night, I noticed there were no plastic bag liners for the ice bucket (aka "ice condom"), so I went to the front desk. They gave me a new wastecan-liner (fresh out of the package, relax) for my ice bucket. But that's not the best part: they replaced it with a fresh one each AM. It's those little extra touches of thoughtfulness that make this place great. On my pizza night, I went to the front desk, and Mariana (sweet blonde girl with pixie cut) gave me paper plates and forks from the pantry to eat our to go pizza on. What a love she was. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful that we felt like we were leaving family when we checked out. This will be my go-to place whenever I'm in JH. And I go there a lot... read more

One star is too much for this overpriced, lackadaisically run hotel. I was so disappointed! Yes the room was charming, yes it was clean. But it's loud! If you don't mind listening to your neighbors tromp above you or their conversations next door, by all means, stay here. By the time 8 am rolled around and I wanted to take a shower, the water turned to ice after I got my hair wet! It was 28 degrees outside at the time. My husband told front desk and was told we are working on it. I got enough lukewarm water to finish, but at checkout the front desk woman could care less. She stated there was nothing she could do since I paid through Expedia. Obviously there are many things they could've done, but they were unwilling. Would I stay here again, NO Way! This place pleasantly surprised me! When we called to make the reservation they quickly matched internet rates we found through kayak, which were lower than over the phone rates. Its modest looking from the outside and classy, antique interior design inside had modest pricing and made the stay feel like we were staying at a relatives home. It was comfy and the customer service was excellent. Free internet, balcony, spa and secure parking area were added bonuses. Everything was clean, friendly and cose to town square activities. I was really impressed with their use of durable, china cups, mugs and plates used in the rooms and for the continental breakfast! Good to see the hospitality sector considering the triple bottom line: economic, environmental and social aspects of running a business. I would definetly recommend this place! read more

This hotel was so lovely - I don't think I can emphasize that enough! The hotel is a great price! It's not cheap to stay in downtown Jackson, but this place was definitely a good price for it - much more reasonable. It's super convenient - quick walk to central downtown and all the fun stuff. The service and accommodations were great! They have very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself was so cute and lovely. Sure, the building is a bit old, but I think they work it fantastically. My room was super clean and cozy. Everything in it was super cute - it definitely has some charm! They have continental breakfast, and a good one at that. From the moment we walked into the lobby we warmly greeted and met an amazingly wonderful lady running the front desk. After chatting with her and checking in we found our room. OMG..they pull out all the stops to make you feel at home; robes, iron, humidifier, and sitting area to name a few. Great pool and spa area. We had an incredible stay at Parkway Inn. The location is perfect. Very close to most things but not right on the busy street. We were able to walk most places. The rooms are nice, have a western feel without feeling old and run down, comfortable beds and very clean. The cleaning staff really focused on doing a good job and not a fast job. This was impressive. The lady at the front desk was very nice and answered our questions. The pool is very narrow but the kids enjoyed it and I enjoyed both hot tubs after playing in the snow all day. The hotel has a decent gym and sauna in the locker room. Continental breakfast was pretty basic but good. Hard boiled eggs, bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit and cereal. Nothing wrong with it as all. We will be booking here when we come back this summer. read more

We are certain there is no better place to stay in all of Jackson Hole! The Albany Ski Club arrived in the hotel's lobby with a group of 70 tired and hungry adults. Jackie and her staff were ready for us, with our room keys in hand and a smiling welcoming attitude. Our first sign that our experience at the Parkway Inn was going to be flawless. Jackie and her staff seemed to anticipate our every need and their attention to detail was above and beyond. We felt as if they were saying we got this, don't worry, go have fun. So we did! The staff was quick to help with recommendations for dinner, things to do, transportation, and more. The hotel was clean and met all our needs including ample closet and drawer space. The location was central to town and many wonderful restaurants. The continental breakfast was always a good start to our day with plenty of choices and an attentive staff to make sure that we never ran out of anything. We highly recommend the Parkway Inn for a large group or anyone traveling to Jackson Hole. Jackie and her staff will not disappoint. read more
