Both my husband and I have gotten multiple colonoscopies here, including mine a couple of months ago and his most recently. He also added an endoscopy, which he said he couldn't even tell afterwards as he had no soreness. Dr. Mokuolu is the gastroenterologist we see and he's amazing and seriously the best! The facility sets up text message alerts to the patient's driver as they move through surgery from prep to completion. I was informed every step of the way. I could sit and visit while he waited before and in recovery. The facility is in a nice clean parking lot with some fast casual restaurants nearby, so multiple options for a quick coffee or bite to eat while waiting. I just walked because it was so close. When back in the office waiting area, there is cold water and a coffee machine. Lots of seating inside and some in the main lobby as well. Shout out to Danielle, Amy, Ramee, and Heather who helped take care of my husband. My caretakers were Jayeline, Ashley, and Ashley N. The only negative is the fire alarm was being tested about 9am, which I commented to the maintenance that they shouldn't do it while people are in surgery, as it's very loud. It wasn't anything to do with the surgery center, because this was the building operators scheduling it. See everyone again in 5 years or so!

I can confidently say there will NEVER be a second. Let's start with the receptionist. She was loud, unprofessional, speaking across the office like she was hanging out on a street corner, and casually dropping the F-word while patients were sitting there listening. Zero professionalism. Zero discretion. Zero awareness of her surroundings. Then she called me back to take my blood pressure. GOOD. LORD. The second I was confined in that little exam room with her, the smell hit me. This wasn't a tiny hint of body odor that you politely ignore. This was a HEAVY, stale, musty, haven't-seen-soap-today smell that filled the space. I was sitting there wondering how I'm at a MEDICAL FACILITY concerned about whether the equipment is sanitized when the person touching patients smells like basic hygiene wasn't on today's agenda. I don't expect the Ritz-Carlton. I don't expect perfume. I don't care what anyone looks like. But if your JOB requires you to stand inches away from patients, PLEASE SHOWER BEFORE YOUR SHIFT. Soap, water and deodorant should not be considered advanced medical technology. And then I overheard that she's the MANAGER?! That nearly took me out. If this is management, who exactly is enforcing standards? HER? She's supposed to be the example for the rest of the staff while loudly using profanity in front of patients and walking people into tiny rooms smelling like a damp laundry hamper that's been forgotten for a week? Absolutely not. The provider was at least pleasant, but even that portion of the appointment didn't inspire much confidence. She repeatedly had to leave the room to ask questions and then come back. The entire appointment felt rushed, disorganized and amateurish. I was told I needed a specialist referral. At checkout they had absolutely NO difficulty taking my payment and telling me I was done. Funny how that part of the operation runs efficiently. I left and realized nobody had given me any referral information. So I called. FIFTEEN MINUTES ON HOLD. Someone finally answered. I explained what happened. BACK ON HOLD. Eventually I was told someone would call me back. Three days later, I'm apparently still waiting for this mythical phone call. So, to recap: profanity in the waiting area, an unbelievably uncomfortable hygiene situation, chaotic service, a provider repeatedly leaving to ask questions, no referral information, 15+ minutes on hold, and absolutely no promised callback. But my payment? Oh, THAT they managed flawlessly. The most unbelievable part remains discovering that the person setting this spectacular standard of professionalism is supposedly THE MANAGER. If the manager is the example everyone else is expected to follow, this office doesn't need a suggestion box. It needs an intervention. One visit was more than enough. I will be contacting my insurance company and finding another provider immediately. I wouldn't voluntarily return to this office if they validated my parking, refunded my copay, AND handed me a complimentary bar of soap on the way in.

That is what I love about Southwest Medical, you find the care you need even if it means driving a bit further.I love that about them! Convenience with locations all over Las Vegas area and most of their buildings have everything you need in one place. Parking is always plentiful and I've never had an issue with not finding a parking spot that is conveniently by the entrance. I really appreciate being part of Southwest because they have all the doctors and specialists under one roof! This building comes up as Sienna Healthcare on the app but it is a Southwest Medical And Associates building. The office was clean and there is a security information personal in the entrance to answer your questions. The staff here is amazing and they make you feel like they care about your health. They are friendly and professional.

The doctor did bloods and said that I was far sicker than I realized. She sent me next door to the ER. She called ahead and made sure they had all of my paperwork. The nurses were also exceptional. Thank goodness she did. I went downhill fast. I had a burst cyst on my kidney. I was admitted to the ER and I didn't get home until around 4p. The facility is very clean and easy to access. Parking is great too. Will only go here in the future.

I can't thank you enough everybody for really being there bringing me warm blankets making sure I have water if I need it and being kind because I went by myself and left my boyfriend at home. We waited about 30 minutes in the room, where no patient privacy is being provided. You can hear everything the doctor is telling the other patients in the room. Dr. Lopez assessed my son for 5 minutes. Told him he didn't have a need for rabies shots. He discharged him. Discharge Nurse gave discharge instructions and a prescription for an antibiotic. A month later, we received a bill. ER total charges were $2075, and the copay is $400. Please be aware that they are overcharging patients for medical care at this facility.

She took the time to explain everything clearly and introduced me to the entire team that would be in the operating room, which really put me at ease. When I woke up, my post-op nurse was just as attentive, even offering me juice and cookies--and let me tell you, do NOT pass on the cookies, they're delicious! It wasn't an experience I would have chosen, but since it was necessary, I'm so grateful my doctor, Dr. Sang Lee, practices here.

Hopefully this is the last one of these I'll do for a while…read more I had a procedure scheduled for today with an arrival time of 6:30 am; when I was called last week with instructions the nice nurse told me 6:30 is the arrival time don't come sooner so you don't have to wait longer. Wear warm, comfy clothes because it cold in there. And advised me of what to bring with me, how long I should be there and instructions for my driver. We arrived at 6:26 walked in, signed in and was checked in just a few minutes later. The nurse came and got me and my friend from the waiting room and took us straight to my bed and got me prepped for my procedure. Super easy endoscopy, just had to remove my sweatshirt and put in a gown. Shortly after, another nurse came and started my IV and got me all ready. There was one person before me. And I was kept in the loop with time and everything. My friend was told not to leave that it was going to be really quick. Just as promised I was wheeled back, everyone who I hadn't met yet introduced themselves and told me what they would be doing. Next thing I knew I was waking up in my little room and my friend was brought right back. I had water waiting for me and a cute little Crumbl cookie. Everyone was amazing and I wouldn't hesitate scheduling another procedure here!

Door was open and staff was busy already inside. I easily completed the necessary paperwork and was whisked inside right at the time of my appointment. Friendly PA and attentive doctor. I felt cared for and heard. I wasn't rushed nor did I feel like I was inconveniencing anyone by asking my questions. I may have thought this visit was a temporary fix, but I would gladly drive for this level of care and plan to stay. Great job!

If I could give it zero stars I would…read more Last October I went in because I was having really bad back pain and after I got off work I went home and threw up 7 times and could barley stay awake. My husband decided I needed to go to the ER and all they told me was that I had a UTI. All they did was blood and a urine test. They did tell me I was septic but i was okay if I wanted to go home because they sat and watched the monitor hit the numbers they wanted to see and said I was good. We made sure to ask them are you sure it's just UTI and they told me yes that we caught it early and I was okay to go home. But I literally remember looking at the guy and saying I've never in my 23 years of life threw up due to a UTI. Again we made sure to ask like even though i was showing i was septic that they as medical professionals thought it was okay to go home and they said yes and we trusted them. The next morning i stay home from work and I literally slept all day long because i could barely stay awake and slurring my words. My husband was trying to call me all day but rush home because i was so out of it I didn't answer anyone. He said i looked dead on the couch... he said i was pale and hard to wake up. he rushed me to green valley er while trying to keep my conscious. We got to the new er which was sooo much better. They did so many test right away and realized i was severely septic early on and told my husband that if he didn't bring me in It would have been really bad. I was not only really septic but had a 5mm kidney stone. They transferred to Henderson hospital where I would spend a week in and and out of being septic in the IMC unit My body took a while to recover and had a hard time fighting the fever and my heart rate wouldn't go down due to it all.. all while I miss my sons first real Halloween.
