We got three of their donuts. The three we got were chocolate, peanut butter, strawberry, and caramel bacon. My favorite was the peanut butter, but for me, the peanut butter always wins out. Donuts are not like anyone else's. Very Yum yummy . I got 6 assorted 1 Doggy donut cookie 1 Cup of coffee. The coffee took about 5 minutes to get I'm assuming they brewed a new batch. I've visited Parlor Doughnuts a few times lately. I love their selection and the quality is top notch. They make small batches throughout the day to keep it fresh. I love the crispness of the outside of their doughnuts combined with the soft and flavorful centers. The Sandy Beach is a good beginners choice followed by a box of minis. I ordered their fan favorites half dozen in the drive thru. The employee who took my order was super cheerful and explained different options. There was no line so I received the order quickly. To my surprise the box was quite heavy. Those doughnuts were HUGE! I don't think I ever had a layered doughnut before but now I'm a fan. They were ultra fluffy, definitely fresh, and everybody at the office loved them. They were gone so fast I couldn't even take a picture. So, I had their cronuts--they also have I think vegan donuts, not sure if they do more traditional type donuts also. In any case, the maple donut/cronut I got was pretty good, light and airy but with the right amount of sweet maple flavor. They are open until 5pm which is very nice considering so many donut shops close by noon or just a bit later. The interior is new and spotless and the girls working there were very cheerful. Not the best donuts I've had but not bad all the same and worth checking out maybe if headed to or from the beach. read more

I've visited the St. John's location of Parlor Doughnuts before and loved it, so I was excited to see this new location in Jacksonville Beach after a beach visit was cut short by lousy weather. The shop was packed when we entered, but the staff kept the line of customers moving while maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude. My wife and I ordered a coconut cream donut, a sandy beach donut, and a French toast donut, and I grabbed a latte as well. Their layered donuts are crispy, delicate, and delicious, with a pleasant level of sweetness. Even after having them both multiple times, I still really can't tell the difference between the sandy beach and French toast, but suffice to say, they're both delicious. The coconut cream donut was the standout for me, as the coconut cream had just the right amount of coconut flavor in it. The latte was a little on the weak side for me, but was smooth and a nice compliment to our donuts. One of my donuts was a little on the underdone side, but I'll write that off to the newness of the shop and how busy it was. I'm sure that will be in the past once they have more experience under their belt. They make donuts all day, so you don't have to worry about them selling out of a flavor, either. Bottom line, give Parlor Doughnuts a try. If you love donuts (which I absolutely do), you won't be disappointed. read more

This is the best of the best in donuts! The unique flavors that are made in most donut establishments. The donuts are crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked so the inside melts in your mouth. The taste mimics what the name of the donut says. The cost is close to $3.00 a donut, but these are a piece of heaven. Best Buy is a dozen which you get a little price break. The coffee selection is an additional bonus. I'm glad to see a business go in this building that may actually stay around for the unseeable future. At 8 AM the interior lights were out and the drive-through was somewhat active they definitely discouraged dine in. Given all that should really take 15 minutes to get through a line of six cars and drive off with a doughnut? If you're patient and willing to wait, the product is great. My first ever Yelp review. I'm not the "leave a review" type. I'm typically a "just won't return" type. But here goes... There are too many good places to eat at the beach for any one of them to risk good, courteous and reasonably quick service and survive long. Saturday morning (2/22/25) at 10:45am 17 minutes in the drive through for a latte, two mini doughnuts and a taco. 6 minutes to be acknowledged at the window. Gave the girl a $20 bill on a $14.19 order. She had to ask for another girls help because she couldn't make change (I don't want to have to do math" she said to the coworker). 6 minutes later we got our order, minus the latte. Minutes later, alone at the window still, I got another girls attention. I asked if any one of them could stop what they were doing and just make the latte. She explained that they were "really busy" (she was just standing around when I got her attention). 5 minutes later we got the latte with a spritz of attitude on top! The latte was lukewarm. This review is only for the GF donuts they offer. Not good. Super heavy, dense, not a donut. More like a cake. But the heaviest, densest, driest cake ever coated in sugar. Just skip it. On the positive side, the staff was kind and helpful in answering my questions about the GF offerings... although a little confused amongst themselves. And not terribly efficient. I think there was some new staff in the mix, and they were all asking a lot of questions of each other! But they were all very nice... I say again... SKIP the GF donut.
