7/21/26 After eating next door I wanted to try this place! I went in only to see no doughnuts on display? They had two boxes of flavors, the associate was nice to tell me about each flavor, but I wanted fresh ones. She did give me two fresh doughnuts from the inside. I bought a half dozen and the I'll came out to $25.50. I thought that was a little pricey. When checking out she verbally told me my total amount of which was $27.48 with tax, I quickly tapped my card without looking and noticed the amount was now $31.30! Miss A gave herself a 15% tip? My wife heard about this place so we came to try it out and they did not disappoint! This is a very cool doughnut shop, very clean inside. The staff are super helpful, we couldn't decide what flavors to get and they were super patient nice and open to answering our questions even with other customers coming in. This is not your regular doughnut shop. You won't find raised or cake doughnuts here but instead what they call layered doughnuts, and they're delicious. A layered doughnut is like a cross between a croissant and a raised doughnut. They have a lot of flavors but they seem to run out early in the day even though they supposedly make small batches throughout the day. We came on a Sunday around 11am and they were out of some flavors. All of their doughnuts are $4.25 or $3.25 if you buy 12 or more. They also have mini versions as well as gluten free and vegan options. I decided to try their recommended French Toast flavor and Churro. The Churro one was simple with powdered sugar and chocolate on top, but it was good. The French Toast was much sweeter with a maple icing. It was okay but too sweet for me. We took our doughnuts to-go but the shop has a nice vintage vibe and enough tables to comfortably hangout in if you wanted to eat there. I love croissants so I enjoyed the texture of these doughnuts. I still like my traditional doughnuts but would come back when I want something a little different. Tip: Buy at least 2 doughnuts so they're packaged in a box. If you only get 1, they put it in a paper bag and it gets messy. Hopefully they'll consider getting single boxes. read more

Finally tried these layered donuts and I'm still thinking about them. Each bite was honestly better than the last. The layers are soft and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness so it doesn't feel heavy. I've been a fan of Parlor Doughnuts since my very first encounter with this establishment in Oceanside. This location makes the same quality of croissant doughnut as their Oceanside location. It's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. For $4.25, it's not bad compared to other gourmet donut shops. French Toast and Maple Bacon are my favorites. I'm not a fan of their Blueberry Hill since it tastes artificial and lacking in that fresh tart flavor I had hoped for. They had 1 marshmallow donut left and my 2 preschoolers wanted the same one despite my getting 2 different ones, so I asked for a knife. This location is located in a shopping plaza so there's lots of parking. They have several tables inside if you decide to enjoy your donut here. The gals working here were nice and answered my questions about some of the flavors. I chose two - a maple bacon and a raspberry filled - and sat there to gorge myself on those two donutty delights. They provided me with a plate for each one. The maple bacon was wonderful with its maple glaze and bits of bacon on top. It's the sweet & salty experience. I can see why some might opt for using utensils to eat as you have to open wide to take a bite - these are thick (yet soft) doughnuts. The raspberry filled was excellent with gobs of filling. I am usually a neat eater but with the powdered sugar and vast amount of filling, I had a face full of white powder and raspberry jelly. I appreciated the napkin dispensers on the tables! A water dispenser and cups are available where the utensils are located. As is the case with gourmet donuts, these are a bit more pricey than the traditional type. read more

I have come here many times. The donuts are great, but the service is below average. Today's Mother's Day so the day before I scheduled an online pick up order for the morning of Mother's Day. I'm up early. I go down there to pick up the order. They don't have it ready. When I look at the case, it clearly looks like many of the selections that, I selected were already sold out. So they had to go back there and remake them. I love things that are fresh however, I don't love the fact that I had to wait. The problem is they over prioritize all the orders that they got this morning and they were speaking about it behind the counter so I could overhear them. I also caught them in a lie because they said their tickets fire off five minutes before an order is supposed to be fulfilled, which is untrue. I caught them in a lie, because another gentleman walked in shortly after me. We made a brief conversation and he mentioned, that he had placed his order yesterday for pick up today. His order was ready and sitting on the counter. So they simply forgot about my order and didn't fill it. They didn't have all of the necessary pieces to fill my order on time, so I had to wait. That was the whole reason why, I did the order online ahead of time instead of in person. If you're going to prioritize same-day orders, or the customers that are directly in front of you without taking care of the prior older orders that's a bad way to do business. When I called to let them know, I got home and I opened the donuts and they weren't the correct selections that I ordered.
