Made a trip to Brian Head and stopped in here for my daughter's birthday. We got the order to go, and they did a great job on accurately making the order and having it ready on time. We ordered a couple of Bacon Burgers, a Wrangler Burger, and a Sour Dough Burger. All cooked perfectly. We also got a side of onion rings. Holy cow were the onion rings awesome! They had such a great crunch to them. I just wish the side had been a bit larger... All in all, we look forward to coming back next time we're in town! read more

After a fun trip at Brianhead Resort, my friends and I wanted to stop somewhere close for some breakfast. By the time you walk in, house flies are infested near the entrance window. It was really unpleasant since we had to sit next to the entrance and there were no other booths available. The only thing that's good about this place is the service. The food was close to okay and my friends order of pork chops were dry as hell! Expect a long wait when it is busy. We had to sit about 30-40 minutes until our food arrived. We love cafes in small towns. Why? Because they usually make their food, don't micro wave it or have it frozen and instead, it's home made. On the way back to Cedar City, we wanted a late lunch/ early dinner so we stopped in. They had a special sandwich- chicken Cordon Bleau-deep fried chicken breast with ham and cheese, French fries and a choice of soup or salad. These guys get five star for their food and service! It's a local spot and thanks to Yelp we were able to check them out and had their delicious breakfast. Everything we ordered tasted fresh. The eggs tasted like they just picked them up fresh from the farm. The bacon was from a slaughtered pig this morning LOL JK about that. It was really fresh. Didn't taste like meat that was sitting there for awhile. Potatoes were fresh and just cut up for our order kinda spot. When we walked in there everyone was so welcoming. Our server was super friendly and she noticed my daughters SF Giants jacket and complimented us on the jacket. We found out she's a fellow Bay Area native. BAY AREA! LOL We all ordered omelets. Bacon, tomato, Swiss and added avocado. This was so good. LOL Crab, avocado, Swiss My son said it was hella good. It tasted fresh! This is the cutest and most welcoming cafe! We stopped here on our way through town for some coffee and dessert and we felt so welcome. The people were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. Similarly, their food was amazing! We caught them on a day where their dessert was cinnamon raisin buns/rolls and they were incredible! Definitely homemade and delicious! I had a great experience today at Parowan café. The food was exceptionally delicious. I recommend the country fried steak and eggs. It really hit the spot! Stopped in at the Parowan Cafe to get some of their so called "Best Cinnamon Roll In The West" to go. They are pretty darn good. The frosting had me perplexed. It's not the normal, overly sweet, confectioners sugar frosting and it's not sour or tart like a cream cheese frosting. We both loved the density of the roll itself. There were several people dining in and their plates looked like large portions and yummy. I found out later that it is indeed a sour cream based frosting. read more

What a great find!! Was in Parowan and Cedar City with husbands corvette club for Rotary car show that weekend!! Looking for someplace for breakfast found this Cafe on Yelp with great reviews; another couple and us went for breakfast Saturday morning. It was awesome! They were very friendly staff and seated us and took our drink orders gave us time to peruse the menu. We all eggs with various sides ie toast, pancakes potatoes. Cheap good diner food. This place was just right from a food and price perspective! My family & I stopped here on a trip from Bryce Canyon to Las Vegas. It was the perfect place to stop on our trip and it was good simple diner food with something for everyone. I ordered the chicken fried steak lunch portion & it came with a side salad, green beans, & mashed potatoes (and an orange slice for garnish). My sisters got burgers and my Dad got a sandwich (all come with French fries & a pickle if you so choose). They were also still serving breakfast at noon with no end time which I thought was great and unusual as a lot of places where I'm from end at a certain time. Felt great to have a place open late at night. But I never want to be the last customer ever again. I will never go at closing again because I did notice that the cook was starting to clean the grill and cooking area when we arrived. My girlfriend commented that it smelled like old grease , but I didn't notice myself . I had drove all day we were totally hungry and tired. Saw this place pulled over went in ordered, there was no one in there eating, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time, the service was polite and friendly, looked great tasted great, but........ I paid for it the next day and that evening. I spent more time in the bathroom than I ever have after eating out. I've gone to travel abroad over in Mexico, Bahamas, Canada etc. I didn't get sick and have the Runs on those trips. Didn't think it could happen here in the US. I would have given them a one star but the customer service, like I said was great for being at closing and it was clean and neat. Folks in BrianHead were raving about the Parowan Cafe. Everything is home made they said. Since we hadn't eaten and were staying in Parowan, we gave it a try. The waitress was cute and smiling. We ordered and started with one of their "Amazing Cinnamon Buns." It had 2 raisins and was sloshed in at least a cup of cream cheese frosting. The bun was nothing special, more like a dinner roll. The frosting was enough to frost a cake. Cinnabon is Much Better. In fact, so are the ones at Albertsons bakery. We ordered a Sourdough Burger with grilled onions and a half pound Hamburger Steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, sage dressing, green beans and French onion soup. And coffee. Several diners arrived, ate and left before we were served our food. At one point the server asked, "What did you order?" We told her. "Oh yeah, that's right," she replied. The soup arrived medium warm. Salty and likely from a mix or a can. No melted cheese just what looked like a tablespoon of grated Parmesan at the bottom and several chunks of toast taking up a large portion of the cup. The coffee was cold. She said she would make a new pot. It arrived 20 minutes later without a refill. The sourdough burger had no onions but did have a piece of ham added. It was sent back to be redone and the same burger returned barely warm with onions minus the ham. The burger steak was OK but certainly not hot. We changed our minds about stopping for breakfast in the morning before heading out. read more

What a great little home town diner. We have a cabin up in Brian Head and often come back down the hill for supplies. I stopped in and had a great breakfast. The place was crowded which is a good sign. The staff was very attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The servings were generous and the food tasted good. So we decided to eat, I got the rib eye stake and omg the price was unbelievable and when I tasted it, it was even better. My husband and brother both got burgers and they were amazing as well. So I'm in the military not that it matters but I was road tripping with my wife and If there was a zero star option I'd definitely give this place that, don't waste your time if you are someone of any Ethnicity or Race besides "white" went in to try a cinnamon bun and server couldn't seat us, Which was odd cause THERE WAS SEATING and I replied "we can have a seat over at that table please " politely and was replied with " it needs to be cleaned" I said "no worries we can wait" and waited what felt like a century NOTHING WAS done at all. Maybe it was an off day for them, but it was Sunday, the estimated time for food to be at your table was 50 minutes, and we had already waited 10 minutes for a booth. The booth seats were so uncomfortable that we almost walked out then. I only weigh 125 but sunk so far down that it was going to be a real problem for my back, so we scooted up against the wall as far as we could to find a firm spot. It was really bad! It was super loud. And tense. But everyone was really nice. I bet the food in general is good, but we didn't want to wait 50 minutes, and asked if we could get the cinnamon rolls right away. We did, and we were very very disappointed, especially since they were supposed to be "the best". They were too sweet, and not done in the middle, with very little cinnamon flavor. I doubt I have eaten at any 5 star restaurants however the Parowan Cafe certainly rates 4 if not 5. I ate breakfast there on Wednesday, a very sweet lady Jessica, helped us. when I asked if she was going to be there on Thursday, she said no, however we would be well taken care of by another you lady, Nicole. The coffee was the best ever as was everything else. I just wish it was closer to home. Last night, Thursday, the 1st of June, I stopped in for a quick dinner meal.
